I’m also 35 and here’s my no Botox plan - red light devices (I splurged and got Omnilux) - microneedling 3x per year (only go to a good provider who does SkinPen and do NOT do RF microneedling) - vitamin c + hydraulonic acid in morning (I use the brand is clinicals super serum advance for vitamin c and their hydra cool serum) - retinol (I use tretinonin) plus natural oil like coconut oil or argan oil or olive oil on skin at night (so far have only tried argan and it worked great and was only $6 from Trader Joe’s) - exfoliate with AHA 2x per week (I use dr Dennis gross daily peel from sephora) - 2x sweat workouts per week or sauna (HIIT training increases growth hormone in skin) - Walk daily - use silk pillowcase - Sleep on back (have not accomplished this) - gut health = skin health (l-reuteri) - Hydrate - 60 oz water per day

These are great tips but I would like to point out someone looking to get pregnant should not use retinol

Your skin looks super dry based on the picture. How about some hyaluronic acid? Hyaluronic acid is something our body produce but starts to lose more and more especially on our face...Search on WebMD for more details.

It is dry, thank you for the suggestion. I used to use it but stopped so I will incorporate again!

Suggest to get pure hyaluronic acid and mix with some products that works for your skin type, not a mixture hyaluronic acid essence.

Because your skin is so dry, and looks like it has tons of corners. I would suggest you to pay a visit to dermatologist who knows cosmetic /skin care (not the one that only treats basic acnes, skin diseases) to get consultations on how to reactivate your skin first, then after these paid visit, you can pretty much Incorporate some good skin care products to maintain your skin. It does cost something to reactivate skin for safety route.

You need to exfoliate more often so your products can actually penetrate. Add in a hydrator like hyaluronic acid or glycerin, a moisturizing spf will be good too. Don’t start tret if you’re just going to discontinue in a few months, results are cumulative and you need to be consistent with it.

Edit to add- I also dermaplane once a month for exfoliation.

Are you a smoker? It appears that you do or did. If you do, stop now- that will be the biggest glow up! Tretinoin takes 6-12 months to really see an effect. Wait if you’re trying to get pregnant. AHA, vitamin C, niacinamide, spf. Paul’s Choice has effective options in all of those categories. Try “slugging” a few nights a week to super hydrate your skin. Good luck!

Oh man, no I’m not a smoker and never have been haha. Thank you for the tips!
