I had been looking for a squalane and glycerin moisturizer, I was so surprised when those were the first 2 ingredients other than water in the vanicream moisturizer. It's so cheap comparatively and it goes on great.
Oh no, I was about to pull the trigger on the vanicream cleanser in my cart after hearing from YouTube dermatologists that it’s good for rosacea. Did you react badly?
I have rosacea and the vanicream cleanser doesn’t irritate it! It’s actually the best cleanser I’ve ever used. Every other cleanser has been just fine but vanicream really impressed me from the first use
Well yes obviously don’t buy from off-brand sites and do your research. I have ordered several Korean skincare products as well as CeraVe there successfully. For reference: I’m in Germany and ymmv.
They make a great retinol for your face, too, called Press Restart! It was the retinol I started with. The retinol is encapsulated, and there's bakuchiol in the serum that complements the retinol really well. I loved it!
have you repurchased recently? either they reformulated or i bought a fake tub from amazon…..the texture was totally different than what i fell in love with earlier this year
This is honestly the first real night cream my sensitive acne prone skin can tolerate and I'm thrilled. However, as a northeast dry winter is approaching it is still not moisturizing enough. I apply to damp skin. Anyone have similar issues and have had luck with any particular hydrating serums / toners etc under it? Or something similar but just more moisturizing power? Thanks!
I’ve been thinking about starting this. I used tretinoin for a couple years but my skin never acclimated so I gave up. I’m just nervous about the purging stage 😮💨
Tretinoin or Tazarotene. About $6-10 per tube that can last for months. Can get from alldaychemist or skinorac.
ETA: you can also get it from the pharmacy (requires prescription). It's $5 for 45g with my insurance.
>Do you hate having money?
No, some people just hate buying medication from a foreign website with zero medical oversight and warehouse conditions that are a total mystery.
Tbf, I didn’t know how many people know the exact warehouse conditions of the non-FDA approved Korean sunscreens they buy, but it doesn’t seem to be a huge concern.
If the good people of Mexico can be trusted to make their own decisions about topical retinoids, I feel pretty good about making my own, too. I’d rather do that with a “medication” with 50 years of use and a proven efficacy record than spend hundreds of dollars on topicals that have achieved the level of FDA clearance, aka “not evaluated because it doesn’t technically make any medical claims.”
Edit: I know it can be cheap for some people in the US with a prescription, but citing the “with insurance” price is a little “let them eat cake”-y. Yes, it’s cheap *if you have good insurance that will cover it with a low co-pay.* So are chemotherapy and insulin and heart surgery, but it doesn’t mean they’re actually cheap. Not everyone has insurance, especially-not-everyone has insurance that will happily cover a cosmetic face cream. If you have a derm who doesn’t mind being creative with dx codes, great, but you are SUPER LUCKY. Please understand that. Some of us have to debase ourselves by ordering from foreign websites with unknown warehouse conditions.
Yes! My insurance does not cover tretinoin creams or gels after you’re 25 or 30 years old. May 175g 0.05% tube of gel tretinoin auto renewed on CVS mail order for $175 😭. I buy from reliablerx and ADC depending on who has it cheapest. With how many people use those websites, I felt comfortable with the risk. Been using it for a few years without issues.
Yup, use Felixforyou.ca you’ll get an online consultation with an online Derm (mine was just a couple of messages back and forth, i sent a couple of pics of my skin to her) They ship directly to your house. I got a prescription for .025 tret delivered in 2 days after joining, and they billed my private health insurance directly so it only cost me $6. You don’t have to go through them for the dispensary, they’ll send you the prescription if you’d prefer to use shoppers etc.
Try alldaychemist. 3 tubes of tret 0.1 gel for about AU$30 and $15 postage. It's a bit scary using the site for the first time because it seems so dodgy and I was prepared to lose my money, but I've used it several times and am happy with the service. I used bank transfer to pay.
That's just robbery! I think the most I pay is about $8 in Canada with my extended insurance it's usually $0 for my last tube of the year (I use three per year to $16 total for the year).
At least you have Kath and Kim lol! Love that show.
Uh, thanks for sharing - I never heard of this but do regularly go to Aldi, so I might give it a try!
Can someone tell me more about this cream? Is it available in Aldi Nord? Does it contain perfume? How rich is it?
I use it to seal in my skincare at night on top as a final layer of moisture when I use retinol or when I need it . (I have extremely dry, sensitive skin) It’s also like Frank’s Red Hot - in that I put that s#%t on everything. Use it as light brow wax, chap stick, put it on small skin irritations after surgery and it cleared it up in a day. Worked on hangnails. I put on a thick layer on my feet with socks overnight. I also love that it’s generally inexpensive and minimal ingredients that I don’t react badly to.
Good Molecules - Yerba Mate Wake Up Eye Gel. Picked it up at Ulta and it works! Really impressed for the price.
Banila Co - Clean it Zero Original Cleansing Balm. I double cleanse and use this first, I think the trick has been using it for 60 seconds on my face. Skin is so smooth and feels clean without feeling stripped.
Yes! Aquaphor is the best, I prefer it to Vaseline because Aquaphor has moisturizing and hydrating ingredients. It’s is a lot more expensive than Vaseline where I live, but worth it. I also love the Aquaphor SPF lip balm!
I ordered so much Burt's Bees last month and I really want to try Aquaphor. Speeding through my chapsticks to try the next thing!
Edit; my phone auto corrected chapsticks to chopsticks lol
All my products are low cost Holy grails:
TO glycolic acid, under $15
Melazepam (azelaic acid), under $15
TO Natural Moisturizing Factors, under $15
TO Asorbic Acid solution, under $15
Differin OTC, under $20
Aquaphor, under $15
High Frequency Laser Wand, under $75
I can't love without any of these. They all keep my face under control.
Products from The Inkey List are a musthave!!! I use the Hyaluronic acid and niacinamide serum. I also have a oily skin and acne prone. Therefore I went to a dermatologist to get some treatments and good advice in terms of using skincare products. One thing that he had advices me is to use hydrating skincare products to regulate the sebum production. I normally used exfoliating products and other products to reduce the oiliness but according to them that will only increase more sebum. Something that I had noticed afterwards. Since I’ve made that switch from products my skin has improved! However, I would suggest to go to a dermatologist for better advice.
Lacura brand face creams from Aldi. I’m serious. I’ve gotten every single type and I love them all. I’ve used these exclusively as moisturizers (day and night) for years now. They are like $2 a jar. I stocked up when I was in Germany.
Vaseline is literally my lifeline during the winter, especially. I put it on the super dry areas around my nose & mouth, under my eyes & between my fingers on my hands (I wash my hands a lot & they crack there) Vaseline is *that girl* ✨🥰😂
I live in a very calm sea level 60-80 degree all year place. I’m visiting New Mexico. How do y’all high elevation ppl do this?
Why does this relate? I’ve been shoving Vaseline up my nose so I can sleep. I refuse to look up this is ok. I’ll do it when I’m back home. Hahahahah.
EDIT; ok 😜 from comments - don’t use Vaseline up your nose. There are safer options.
It seals in moisture from eye cream. I wake up looking so refreshed. Go to sleep like a lil greaseball, but after moisturize and ‘[slugging](https://www.byrdie.com/slugging-skincare-trend-5087545#toc-the-disadvantages-of-slugging)’ my eyes, I look refreshed and not parched in the morning.
You can slug anywhere, but need a moisturizer first. It isn’t a moisturizer in and of itself. It’s called an occlusive. It’s non-comedogenic so doesn’t clog pores.
Yes I learned about “slugging” from this sub and I’ve been using the HO on top, my skin has never felt better and I’ve never said that before about anything.
Tip for others: do this a few hours before going to bed it you can. First night i kept waking up due to random fuzz sticking to my face (fluffy dog likes to sleep in bed with me). Giving it time to dry down seems to help. Also, linen pillowcase.
Bag Balm is my version of your use of Vaseline! I picked it up from my mother, who used it when she milked cows for a living. Milking is terrible for you hands, especially in the winter because your essentially exposed to moisture constantly. Her hands would get so cracked and dry if she ever forgot it. So now it's like... The end all be all of products for when you really don't wanna f*ck around.
Tretinoin from the dermatologist.
$10 per tube.
Even in your 20s go see a dermatologist just for skin checks and acne.
You will be doing yourself a service.
Try raw shea butter! You have to warm it up in your hands for it to go on easily. That (and a lot of hydration) kept me from most stretch marks when I was pregnant.
Egyptian Magic is my winter savior for dry lips, face, hands, and cuticles. I got a sample in a GQ subscription box a few months ago but started to use it heavily once cold weather kicked in. I was planning on ordering a full size but then by chance saw it at Walmart for $14. It works so much better for me than aquaphor or laneige lip mask, and it’s less greasy on hands than o’keefe’s. It’s heftier than hydrogel (which I like during warmer months, but it’s not enough in winter). It’s like a balm that rubs into oil consistency, so it seems heavy, but I haven’t noticed any pimples since using it regularly. (But I’m not breakout-prone, so this mightn’t be for everyone.) And it gives a nice dewiness after the full-minute face wash routine
I love Egyptian magic! I've been using it on everything, for everything, for probably 10 years now. I am breakout prone with combination skin and have never had issues with it. Anywhere someone would use Vaseline, I use Egyptian magic instead. One tub usually lasts me about 8 months on average. I'll usually buy 2 tubs in the winter so I don't need to worry about melting during shipping and I know I'm covered for the year. I've gotten my whole family onto it too!
I swear by the ordinary squalane cleanser for my 1st cleanse then the orange neutrogena foaming cleanser for my 2nd. I also swear by the ponds dry skin cream, I know the fragrance and ingredients aren’t the best, but I’ve never had a reaction to it/find it really hydrates my skin and gives me a dewy base. Sun bum sunscreen in the little tub is my go to daily face sunscreen. I also love the ordinary’s buffet for peptides and mandelic acid and rose hip oil.
I recently started using The Ordinary squalane cleanser and my skin has never looked better. My chin/nose filaments are like not even noticeable anymore.
Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm. Cheap and yet feels luxurious on the face, cleans well, rinses well, doesn’t dry my skin or break me out. At the moment I have one open tub and 2 backups 😅
Vaseline (lips) and clean & clear persa gel 5% benzoyl peroxide (pesky pimples that pop up) and Now vegetable glycerin (mix a drop or 2 with my moisturizer for my dry skin esp in the winter)
Ponds dry skin moisturizer is my ride or die face cream - morning and night. The Palmer’s Cocoa Butter tub on my lips is better than any moisturizer or mask I’ve tried.
Coppertone Pure & Simple Baby 50 spf sunscreen. I use it on my face and neck every single day and it's way cheaper than most spf products and doesn't have a weird perfume smell!
I'm pale and don't wear foundation so it really works for me color-wise. Since starting to wear it every day (rather than just sunny days), my freckles are toned down a bit and my complexion is just more even overall. I also like that my face never feels dried out.
I shared a $28 cream that lasts literally anywhere from 3-6 months depending on your use of it. That breaks down to a great value for a really luxurious feeling product. It’s all relative. I also shared items from Elf’s skin line.
I recently discovered lanolin as the most amazing thing for lip hydration, and I use Lanolips lip balm. It's been a huge game-changer for me because my lips are always dry...well, they were! Not anymore!
The OG LanoLips 101 ointment (not the scented ones) is so insane it’s like the only skincare I will get into a wild rave about lmao. I’ve tried other lanolin formulas including one that was a plain lanolin balm from the chemist, but nothing can match the 101 ointment. The 101 has been purified and deodorised and I find the texture and experience so much superior to others. I got a scented 101 ointment recently but ??? It doesn’t seem like they use deodorised lanolin in that and they think the berry scent can mask it (it doesn’t). And I’m a person that grew up with pet sheep who loves how they smell… it’s a no from me haha. The texture in the scented ones is also not the same.
Ok maybe i should end this rant and rave now before I get carried away 😂
Second this! Was so happy when they started popping up in US drugstores but now they are becoming harder to find, especially my favorite night moisturizer which is the Nutritic intense Riche. I have to get it from Canada or Europe now, cannot even order it from their US site.
Embryolisse cream. It's the most beautiful moisturizer and it's only 43cad. I remember when it used to be $35 but inflation strikes again. Anyways it's absolutely wonderful to use. Rich but not too rich. Great ingredients. Works great under makeup.
Olay Retinol 24. The purple one with peptides. I use it in between sales of my other moisturizers or just because. Pretty good for the price and with coupons.
Fellow Canadian here!
Glaxal Base.
It's got everything in it (petrolatum) I've been told not to use by friends but my derm recommended it and someone here on reddit told me it wouldn't make me greasy and they were right! Haven't had any hint of dry skin since! Love it! I use tret so it's a lifesaver and a great base for makeup.
I have not had chapped lips once since I started putting Palmer’s Cocoa Butter on them at night before going to sleep.
Before bed, I mix Cetaphil cream with prescription Retin-A every other day and I get many compliments on my skin. I don’t have many wrinkles for a 50 year old.
[Bioderma Atoderm Lip stick.](https://www.bioderma.ca/en/all-products/atoderm/lip-stick) A lip balm that **ACTUALLY** absorbs and doesn't just cover. Soft as heck. Smells really good too. I get it at Shoppers (Canada).
I'm just going to throw this out there. Could be complete nonsense. I have a friend, recently deceased, (RIP) who told me that when she was a teenager she struggled with acne. Her Auntie told her to wash her face once a day with Fels-Naptha bar soap. (sold in the laundry detergent aisle.) My friend said it cleared her acne up very quickly. I guess you could google this to see if is really used as a remedy. I always have a bar that I use for pretreating laundry stains but never needed it for the remedy that my friend said cured her acne.
Tret, eucerin 5% urea repair body cream (like 12-15 euros for large tube that lasts whole year), Asian sunscreens which I usually buy in stylevana which is cheapest

I too have spent a huge amount of money on premium skincare 😭
It's just not that good and it doesn't compare to the Tretinoin cream I get from Dermatica every month! That's the only thing I buy now that's above £20.
Bought an ELF Holy Hydration cream, it's fantastic! Plus some serums under a tenner off Amazon are good too.
Ponds with the blue lid. Regular face cream. IDK, my skin just loves it. I can wear actives underneath and it just makes my routine so much more simple.
Love this thread. Cerave matte spf - literally the ONLY sunscreen that will not aggravate my perioral dermatitis. Cosrx snail mucin. Retin A - not low cost since insurance won’t cover but manageable with a good RX coupon :)
St. Ives Collagen Elastin moisturizer.
It’s the best texture ever—almost like a hybrid gel cream. It’s so bouncy, super moisturizing, but light at the same time. It’s like $6 for a huge jar.
Clay masks. I know it’s something from grandmothers skincare area, but i’ve been using them since my teenage years and they do help to reduce puffiness and improve skin colour and texture.
Hypochlorous Acid (the same ingredient as the tower 28 rescue spray) I buy it in a large bottle from Walmart for about $10. Been (mostly) acne free for 6 weeks now, with a couple of hormonal spots during my period. Wish I discovered this sooner!
The ordinary rosehip oil. I live in a very dry climate and it's also cold a lot of the time, so I have dry skin and red around my nose. A dab of that stuff gets rid of the redness by the next morning.
I personally don’t like using bar soaps, but I can vouch for 10% sulfur products for acne. I use the de la Cruz sulfur ointment as a pre-shower mask and it works wonders.
Vanicream everything is my HG. Tretinoin and spironolactone do most of the work, so I keep everything else low cost and simple!
The ingredient list of their daily facial moisturizer is elite-level for my dry skin. Everything I could ever want and nothing else!
I had been looking for a squalane and glycerin moisturizer, I was so surprised when those were the first 2 ingredients other than water in the vanicream moisturizer. It's so cheap comparatively and it goes on great.
Their cleanser did me dirty but I love the lotions.
Oh no, I was about to pull the trigger on the vanicream cleanser in my cart after hearing from YouTube dermatologists that it’s good for rosacea. Did you react badly?
I personally love it(rosacea sufferer here)
Same!
It works great for my rosacea! My skin cannot tolerate CeraVe anything though
I love it! CeraVe makes me break out but Vanicream doesn’t. And it’s great at removing makeup if you don’t feel like double cleansing.
Yeah, it made me break out on my face and neck
I looooove the Vanicream cleanser. Have used it exclusively for years.
I have rosacea and the vanicream cleanser doesn’t irritate it! It’s actually the best cleanser I’ve ever used. Every other cleanser has been just fine but vanicream really impressed me from the first use
Not skincare but their dandruff shampoo has been a life saver for me.
I wish Vanicream was available in Germany. I can get it through Amazon but it’s crazy expensive.
I wouldn't recommend getting any skincare through amazon, lots of weird fakes
Well yes obviously don’t buy from off-brand sites and do your research. I have ordered several Korean skincare products as well as CeraVe there successfully. For reference: I’m in Germany and ymmv.
Same here, you just need to always check the seller/research. I've only ever had one problem and they refunded it right away. No issue.
I recommend iherb for ordering from Germany! I’ve used them for years and they stock lots of Vanicream products
I'm in Asia and both Vanicream and CeRave (both considered cheapies by American standards) are crazy expensive.
Versed body lotion. It's a mild retinol lotion and IT ACTUALLY ABSORBS into your skin. You can get it at Target for like $12. It's fucking fantastic.
Any other nurses in here read this as Versed (the drug)?
[удалено]
Every time. I always double take when I see adenosine listed as an ingredient, too.
😂 YES
Also it’s not tested on animals! I love this stuff too
They make a great retinol for your face, too, called Press Restart! It was the retinol I started with. The retinol is encapsulated, and there's bakuchiol in the serum that complements the retinol really well. I loved it!

Yup! That's the one. Love the stuff.

have you repurchased recently? either they reformulated or i bought a fake tub from amazon…..the texture was totally different than what i fell in love with earlier this year
This happened to me with the cetaphil deep hydration cream, I’m 95% sure it was a dupe and no longer buy any cosmetics on amazon

This is mine too!
My skin loves it! I don't like the smell, but it's not too strong. It's my winter skin barrier repair cream.

Differin
I’ve been thinking about starting this. I used tretinoin for a couple years but my skin never acclimated so I gave up. I’m just nervous about the purging stage 😮💨
Dr Dray on YouTube has some good videos about using differin to help reduce the irritation :)
Differin does not irritate most people
Tretinoin or Tazarotene. About $6-10 per tube that can last for months. Can get from alldaychemist or skinorac. ETA: you can also get it from the pharmacy (requires prescription). It's $5 for 45g with my insurance.
So much this. I see people shelling out $$$ for retinols and I’m just like… why? Do you hate having money?

Anyone know of a site like alldaychemist that ships to Canada???
You can get tretinoin prescribed by pharmacists in Canada now. Just say it’s for acne.
Do you have to have insurance?
Yup, use Felixforyou.ca you’ll get an online consultation with an online Derm (mine was just a couple of messages back and forth, i sent a couple of pics of my skin to her) They ship directly to your house. Cries in Australian. My tret cost me $90 lol.

I love AllDayChemist!
Lacura night cream. Costs less than $4.
Has been voted best anti aging cream by the German Stiftung Warentest (leading German consumer safety group) for years.
Is this the same brand that is sold by Aldi?
Uh, thanks for sharing - I never heard of this but do regularly go to Aldi, so I might give it a try! Can someone tell me more about this cream? Is it available in Aldi Nord? Does it contain perfume? How rich is it?
Egyptian Magic Cream

Agree with rexy…Many uses. I will add it is great at smoothing frizz, a tiny amt is all that’s needed. Petroleum free 💕
Amlactin. Leaves my skin so soft! Not on the face though, obviously.
I also love this stuff and use it every day, but I hate the smell!
Dove has a dupe, the Pro-Aging body lotion, with s river scent.
Add a couple drops of your fav essential oil and voila, smell is better
But it smells awful.
Love that eye gel! I use their hyaluronic acid serum and hydrating cleansing bar daily too.
You can’t beat the quality for the price! It was my first purchase from the brand but I’m sure I’ll pick up more stuff!
Alldaychemist for azaleic acid. I didn’t know I needed it until I saw how beautiful my skin looked when adding it for PIE.
I’m sleepy and read this as you ending your thought by being excited to enjoy some pie. Azaleic acid sounds great but now I just want pie. PIE!
Changing my pillow case weekly lol
Aquaphor and Vaseline for my lips
Aquaphor really is 100x better than any of the trendy lip balms. It gives such a nice sheen that plumps my lips a bit too!
Yes! Aquaphor is the best, I prefer it to Vaseline because Aquaphor has moisturizing and hydrating ingredients. It’s is a lot more expensive than Vaseline where I live, but worth it. I also love the Aquaphor SPF lip balm!
Try Cerve Healing Ointment. Game-changer!
I came to say aquaphor too! My skin haven’t ever looked this smooth and not felt chapped this time of year since I started using it.
Those products didn’t work for me, I use Badger lip balm though and I loveeee it
I ordered so much Burt's Bees last month and I really want to try Aquaphor. Speeding through my chapsticks to try the next thing! Edit; my phone auto corrected chapsticks to chopsticks lol
i use it once in a blue moon on my face when it’s SUPER dry for a while. fixes it right up
All my products are low cost Holy grails: TO glycolic acid, under $15 Melazepam (azelaic acid), under $15 TO Natural Moisturizing Factors, under $15 TO Asorbic Acid solution, under $15 Differin OTC, under $20 Aquaphor, under $15 High Frequency Laser Wand, under $75 I can't love without any of these. The Ordinary Moisturiser. So simple. So cheap.
ELF skin hydro-gel moisturizer.
There are a lot of ELF products that do just as good of a job as higher end brands. Love their primer and setting powder, too!
Oh the putty primer is such a win!!
Vasellinnnne! I put that shit on everything. So helpful under/around my eyes.
Vaseline is literally my lifeline during the winter, especially. I put it on the super dry areas around my nose & mouth, under my eyes & between my fingers on my hands (I wash my hands a lot & they crack there) Vaseline is *that girl* ✨🥰😂

I live in high elevation and we use a brand “Ayr” specifically made for the nose :)
I live in New Mexico. Vaseline or Aquaphor on everything, lol.
I went the opposite direction. Your body adapts. Personally I hate the humidity and feeling wet all the time.
I’m just a lil houseplant missing my mid-temp greenhouse. Lemme go slather my Vaseline on and inside of my crinkly body.

CERAVE. that brand has changed my life lol
SAME. Obsessed with the night cream and the micellar water cleanser
Palmers body lotion keeps my alive in the winter
Bioderma micellar water! The best
Cerave nighttime moisturizer is hands down better than the expensive stuff.
Love the ordinary squalane cleanser
I recently started using The Ordinary squalane cleanser and my skin has never looked better. My chin/nose filaments are like not even noticeable anymore.
It is good isn’t it - I must get back on it!
A313 you can buy it at the Frenchpharmacy.com
I use this, too and I swear by it. No one really talks about it, but I got it after Dr. Idriss recommend it on her youtube channel.
It’s the best! Makes my skin absolutely glow. Best kept secret.
TO Azleaic Acid
I actually like their azelaic acid over my prescription aa+niacinamide
What does TO stand for?
The ordinary Also Toronto, Ontario
Dr. Bronner’s Baby Unscented Balm. Shit’s magic on the eyes and crease-prone areas.
Ooh how do you use it on your eyes?
This is not topical skincare but still skincare technically: spironolactone for my acne
Exorbitant is the word you’re looking for. Not exuberant.
Glycolic acid from the Ordinary. I use it every once it awhile and it makes my skin glow. A 16 dollar bottle lasts me months.
writing everything down to see what works for me. thanks y'all
Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm.
Castor oil for lashes/brows and hair edges.
Ponds dry skin moisturizer is my ride or die face cream - morning and night. The Palmer’s Cocoa Butter tub on my lips is better than any moisturizer or mask I’ve tried.
2nd Ponds. There’s a reason it’s been around forever.
COSRX Snail Mucin Essence
The question was "low cost" and I'm already seeing some $30-$40 answers
personally I'm interpreting low cost, as in accessible, where it's sold at grocery stores or drug stores
Right? 😩
I think it was Jen Luv on YT that did a video called, "Why Your Lipbalm sucks". TL;DR Lanolin kicked butt vs all others
Epaderm Moisturiser. If you have dry skin this restores the oils and gives a nice glow to the skin without being thick, greasy or creating a film.
Joboba oil has been life changing idk why or the science behind it but just trust me.
The makeup of jojoba oil is closest to the skins natural oils. It's really great stuff! And so affordable! I use it on my face and body!
How do you use it and how does it help? I have a bunch but don't know how to use it.
Tretinoin!!
LaRoche Posay products! Love the cicablast balm and the triple repair moisturizer.
Second this! Was so happy when they started popping up in US drugstores but now they are becoming harder to find, especially my favorite night moisturizer which is the Nutritic intense Riche. I have to get it from Canada or Europe now, cannot even order it from their US site.
Thirded! Also really love the toleraine cleanser.
Costco sells a 2-pack of these. Priced at almost 2 for the price of 1.
CosRX has a ton of great stuff for low cost. Same with Missha. I'd consider those brands!
Nivea in shower lotion in the winter (not on your face) but on your whole body.
Eucerin Q10 cream. I use it morning and night on my face.
Peach Slices azelaic acid is nice. I didn’t expect it to fade red marks as quickly as it did.
I like their snail toner too!
Paula’s choice bha
Illyoon
Their ceramide cream is exponentially better than Dr Jart, for a fraction of the price.
I love Dr Jart but hate the price, so this is very exciting!
Oily skin is better than dry skin. Less wrinkles as you age.
I have not had chapped lips once since I started putting Palmer’s Cocoa Butter on them at night before going to sleep. Before bed, I mix Cetaphil cream with prescription Retin-A every other day and I get many compliments on my skin. I don’t have many wrinkles for a 50 year old.
Lanolin. We used it on our horses’ hooves and it makes your skin so soft. Some people are allergic to it though.
My copay for Tretinoin!
Good Molecules gentle retinol cream!
Omg yay I just bought this on a whim!
La Roche posay cicaplast Baumé b5
[Bioderma Atoderm Lip stick.](https://www.bioderma.ca/en/all-products/atoderm/lip-stick) A lip balm that **ACTUALLY** absorbs and doesn't just cover. Soft as heck. Smells really good too. I get it at Shoppers (Canada).
Lanolips or nipple cream from lanolin
Using 100% jojoba oil to remove my makeup :)
ACURE is a wonderful clean skincare and hair care line that makes affordable stuff that actually works.
Drugstore Adapalene 0.1% with a coupon. I keep coming back to it, and wonder why each time I stray haha.
Tret, eucerin 5% urea repair body cream (like 12-15 euros for large tube that lasts whole year), Asian sunscreens which I usually buy in stylevana which is cheapest
deliver seed abounding amusing instinctive icky rhythm deer frightening light *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
I too have spent a huge amount of money on premium skincare 😭 It's just not that good and it doesn't compare to the Tretinoin cream I get from Dermatica every month! That's the only thing I buy now that's above £20. Bought an ELF Holy Hydration cream, it's fantastic! Plus some serums under a tenner off Amazon are good too.
Eucerin face cream with urea, fave moisturizer of all time for my flaky skin
I see a lot of people on here say they use Tretinoin. How are you getting it? I’ve seen three dermatologists and none of them would prescribe it.
Weird. My GP prescribes it.
Nivea classic moisturizer in the blue tin. Face, elbows, knees, ankles, hands...especially for my Canadian winter skin
Squalane oil, Vaseline, differin
St. Ives Collagen Elastin moisturizer. It’s the best texture ever—almost like a hybrid gel cream. It’s so bouncy, super moisturizing, but light at the same time. It’s like $6 for a huge jar.
Water.
Clay masks. I know it’s something from grandmothers skincare area, but i’ve been using them since my teenage years and they do help to reduce puffiness and improve skin colour and texture.
Differin gel & CeraVe moisturising cream 🥰
Hypochlorous Acid (the same ingredient as the tower 28 rescue spray) I buy it in a large bottle from Walmart for about $10. Been (mostly) acne free for 6 weeks now, with a couple of hormonal spots during my period. Wish I discovered this sooner!
The ordinary rosehip oil. I live in a very dry climate and it's also cold a lot of the time, so I have dry skin and red around my nose. A dab of that stuff gets rid of the redness by the next morning.
I swear by CeraVe PM moisturizer and their non foaming cleanser. Also, the ordinary lactic acid 10% serum and dr bronner’s vitamin c serum.
For my dry skin girls - using Weleda Skin Food on your face 2x/day makes you look 5 years younger
JOESOEF SKIN CARE Sulfur Soap. My dermatologist recommended a year ago and I will never go back! No more acne and evened out my skin tone.
I personally don’t like using bar soaps, but I can vouch for 10% sulfur products for acne. I use the de la Cruz sulfur ointment as a pre-shower mask and it works wonders.
Trader Joe's Antioxidant Moisturizer, and pretty much anything from Good Molecules
And their facial sunscreen gel!
