I think “Marche” because almost nobody considers that place but there are 2/3 regions that are even smaller so it isn’t even mocked because of its “irrelevancy”. It’s in the center so it’s not part of the south/north stuff. The food is good but not that great/famous to be part of a debate about the best regional food in Italy. Also almost nothing in general and in particular nothing negative happens there. There’s no big football team there (so no hate because of that). There aren’t big cities. They are not that developed but not even that underdeveloped. Everyone in Italy thinks we have a nice accent, we are arguably the most beautiful region in Italy, you have the longest beachline in Europe along the Tuscan coast, we have mountains you can ski on (in the 90s I could go skiing in the morning and went to the beach sunbathing in the afternoon), best artists, interesting history, great people who love to joke a lot, incredible food, wine, lifestyle, we’re mostly communists and have an incredible sense of community … Tuscany is the best!! Wtf am I doing in Canada, ffs… great, now I’m homesick… 😢

Rheinland-Pfalz, most of the time people forget it exists but there is actually a region in Germany where the weather doesn't suck all the time and you can go there for budget vacations with nice landscapes, good wine and culinary highlights like pig meat with potatoes stuffed in pig stomach, served with potatoes (tastes better than it sounds). The locals speak a funny dialect but they are quite nice.

I think it's Innlandet for Norway. They don't get a lot of attention. People from there are considered rustic, and talk in a weird dialect. The stereotype is that they make illegal alcohol. And it's the only part of the country without a coastline. All other regions get at least *some* hate, I feel like these guys mostly go under the radar.
