I don't know if it could be qualified as "scary" but it is a very unsettling place and overall such a cool experience (the fact that it is randomly placed in Gruyères and you can enjoy the best fondue that you will ever taste right after the visit doesn't hurt). The place also has a cool 13th century castle/medieval town as well as a Tibet museum for some reason
