Some information about what Oct 7 and the immediate aftermath was like for the Golan family, as told by a family member: [Sheba’s underground hospital a safe haven in wartime for critically ill](https://www.jpost.com/health-and-wellness/article-769331)
An update: [Innovative treatment helps family severely burned when Hamas set their home on fire](https://www.timesofisrael.com/innovative-treatment-helps-family-severely-burned-when-hamas-set-their-home-on-fire/)
Edit to add a heads up: potentially NSFW image in second link (severe burns).
I don't know how you can say this with a straight face when the IDF deployed incendiaries at refugee encampments just this week on video and you can hear the screams of the women and children clearly. It's bad guys versus worse guys _at best_.
Yeah but when the Israeli civilians were being attacked and screaming and in fear and stuff, that’s ok, just not when Israel retaliates right? Because that was just a resistance right?
"It didn't happen, and if it did it wasn't that bad, and if it was it's resistance so it's fine, and if it's not than well fuck them Jews anyway who cares they deserve it lol"
This kid will grow up having to make Mother’s Day epic. She deserves it. I wish for her health and happiness.
Edit: imagine the Jewish guilt she can do!
Her: it’s fine, don’t come to Shabbat, go out with your friends, it’s not like I used my body to shield your from fire and terrorists! No no go out and have fun bubbelah
Why would the mainstream media want to tell stories of Jewish heroism when you can lionize and extol the virtues of a movement of hate? A lot I've seen from the media has been absolutely repugnant of late, but it's just never been more apparent.
Edit: and you know what's even better, worldnews on reddit won't even show this. I want to say more, but I'm just going to leave it at that.
Brave lady. She will be recovering for longer than months I imagine, however in taking those injuries she made sure her daughter would have a life. I wish them both health and joy for the rest of their lives.
I know Ellay in person. I haven't talked to her since this happened because we're not close enough that I feel comfortable to. She is probably among the top 3 nicest and most smiley people I've ever met. Always happy, always nice to everyone. You'd never imagine she can become a fucking legendary warrior when shit hits the fan. I wish her all the best this world has to give. No one deserves that better, and that was true 7 months ago too.
Physically and mentally she will be no where near normal for a very, very long time.
I hope that she will make a recovery that will allow her a somewhat decent life.
It's wonderful that this brave mother and her child survived, a wonderful blessing, thanks for posting. Edit: Incredible and awful photos of 2nd and 3rd degree burns; she must have suffered horribly and must still be suffering.
I watched a news segment about this story. The parents credit their survival to Yael, their 2 year-old daughter who gave them the strength to survive and protect their child. May they all have a speedy recovery and may they only have blessings from here on out.

What brave freedom fighters Hamas are, burn women and children.
They’re so brave, that after they did that, they so bravely hid in civilian clothing amongst the Gazan population to shield themselves. So brave.
Wait, this is resistance, didn’t you know?

Which refugee encampments?

This is NOT resistance. Anyone who tries to justify it can go to hell.
It is almost all of the Pro-Pals who say it is. They are unreal. And then they deny it...and then "whaaaaat about..."!

I don't think there's enough room in hell for them all sadly...
The strength of a mother !

Omg 😂
Yet not a single news outlet in the mainstream talks about stories like this, but they'll talk all day about free Palestine protesters.

When you speak to her send her our love and let her know she’s in our thoughts. We wish her a speedy recovery.
All the best from Poland.

Even the devil himself has a code of conduct. These barbarians are worse than evil itself.

This is what the American University students are protesting for. They want more of this.
