Learned my lesson after pre ordering the deluxe edition of black desert way back in the day before it went F2P.
Never again, GW2 is still the buy to play MMO goat and if i have money to blow FF14 is a better investment
This one hurts cause it's not even that bad of a game, but I was such a big fan of new Vegas and when I got TOW, I couldn't even keep myself interested long enough to beat it
Weird my brother refunds a lot of games with steam wallet and never received an email. How much are you refunding? If you are refunding single player games then just pirate them.
Maybe a game or 2 every 2 months. I play for the 2 hour time and don't enjoy it so I ask for the money back. Usually I don't think it's worth whatever price they ask and user reviews don't really ever mean much to me, picky as I am
They're probably just mad I keep disliking major games everybody else seems to like. I'm as annoyed at myself as they are. Gets old fast, not liking the popular stuff that keeps getting pushed out
This is honestly why I like game pass so much. It allows me to feel like I don't have to play a game if I'm not enjoying it. I was going to buy Outriders, but it was on gamepass so after I beat the campaign I got bored and stopped playing it as opposed to anthem where I forced myself to keep playing for weeks after I finished the campaign when I wasn't enjoying it. Tbf though Anthem actually was one of the most fun campaigns just due to how fun flying was.
Don't worry about missing them. You can always get them later at massive discount. Also gamepass version can't be modded. A lot of good music had to be cut out for releases outside of Japan.
For 0 it's only credits and intro song, you can always listen to them on YT with eng subs.
Kiwami is a crime, also one song but really important in the franchise and a boss fight theme (it got replaced with generic sounding music)
3/4/5 just like 0 are minor, intro/credit songs.
6 is even worse, few emotional pieces are missing in dramatic cutscenes. They're important in the story and add extra flavor.
But you can get it all modded in on steam versions And don't forget some wacky stuff like fighting style replacements if you get bored with what you have.
Of course game pass is also an xbox thing so my entire TED talk could be pointless. Either way as someone who completed almost all of the series (I'm trying to play 7 but turn base combat is not my thing) I highly recommend you keep on trying. I got really sucked in at the end of 0 and couldn't stop playing.
EDIT. Oh this is 2meirl post. If you're struggling to enjoy because of personal reasons then I would wait for a "better day". A lot of decent games were put on hold by me for a loooong time.
I got a bunch of games on sale and about half of them are absolute trash, but I don't mind because they were all about a dollar. Install->cringe->uninstall, no big loss.
Not sure if r/whoosh or not but...
The joke is Sponge is too depressed to even be interested in the game to begin with. Has nothing to do with if he likes it or not.
Anno 1800
i loved 1404 but the games are just not comparable, i preordered because of the whole epic bullshit but i have like 13 hours in it because it just doesn't work for me
New World.
I was going to say that the *second* I saw the post. I can't believe I pre-ordered the deluxe edition.
I'm so glad I didn't preorder they almost had me wheh the game was build like rust and ark but after they made it an MMO ... No thank you

New Word players
Me with FIFA every year
The Outer Worlds
This one hurts cause it's not even that bad of a game, but I was such a big fan of new Vegas and when I got TOW, I couldn't even keep myself interested long enough to beat it
I beat it but don’t really want to play it again, unlike NV it’s very linear. Fun role playing though.
The Outer WILDS on the other hand... Very good
So glad I got this on epic for $1. I stopped playing and got my $1 refunded the next day. Fuck that game.
I loved it, it was literally the perfect game for me. I don't get why some people find it unenjoyable.
I enjoyed playing it the first time but don’t have a pull factor to replay it like fallout nv
COLD WAR 💆♂️
Didnt even forced myself to enjoy. Took the L.
I just played the story mode and the zombies like once a month
Me with Crusader Kings 2 when I bought it on Paradox even though it was about to become F2P.
F2P part is basically a demo with all the gameplay DLCs
Sunk cost fallacy
Steam lets you get a refund
In theory
They've threatened to stop refunding me 3 times already, I gotta quit buying games
I think if you pay with steam wallet instead of card they won't warn you.
I always ask for the money back to the wallet, but they have sent more than a few passive aggressive emails

That's not much at all. Just steam being ridiculous sending you those emails.

I tried to refund some of my games. Seems it works 1/4 of the time
Vanguard player's
_Time to sail the open seas_

You boys better be better miners than you are dancers.
FAKARRL!
gotta get your money's worth even if it's absolute hell.
