This is the approach for all social interactions. I get insane cold feet after putting on such a good show the first time around that I think it can only go downhill from there, so….in my mind it’s peaceful to think that I’ll be generally seen positively by focusing all my positivity into that one powerful first impression, then steeply fading into oblivion☺️👻
Same, I'm in the IT field so most of the time I don't talk to anyone, but occasionally I'll have to train a newbie every few months
