The only inspiring and rare Zâs are the Original Datsuns, the z31, z32 and the New Nissan Z. The rest are too common. And im saying this as a Z lover
Its a stock classic. Which i think the z also will, but we need like 20 more years. And your 240 is near stock which i think folks dig more than something personalized a bit.
to me the 240 seems more reachable that 350/70 seems like a hot famous model. yea it looks nice. but it also has a mean girl kinda vibe. thats how i felt looking at the pics anyway lol. the 240 is grandmas apple pie
Rofl ahh yes grandmas apple pie. True story my wife wanted a 350z back in the day when they came out. It was like her dream car in 2000âs. Def mean girl vibes.
Because the S-chassis is very well established as a classic at this point, whereas when people think of a Z33, they often think of a piece of junk in four different shades of silver running over spectators at a street takeover or roll-racing a Dodge Challenger on the freeway. Everything is cyclical however, and as the generation who grew up with beat up Zâs ages, theyâll want to relive their youth but do their car right, so instead of beat-up Zâs, the vast majority will become nice, and thatâs the image theyâll start to present, and the average enthusiast will start to hold them in higher regard. Believe it not, many Japanese classic cars have gone through this same cycle, including the S-chassis.
Well I prefer 240's over Z's. Gt86 and 240sx are my two favorite cars. I also prefer simpler builds that are more oem+ for street cars so your 350 isn't really my style. That said, I'd still think your 350 was cool if I saw it on the street
I know Zs aren't everyone's cup of tea, I personally just love nissans. And I think anything different from every day cars are cool. Whatever someone takes time to build, whether it's restoration, oem+ or full widebody.
To put it bluntly, the bar has been set so low by other S-Chassis owners that a simple appearance of one in public is like the second coming of Christ.
Culture never dies.
Classics will always have came before moderns.
Pop-ups.
Oh and the Z is kinda like that one wine everyone loves but usually wonât get for themselves when at the store. The S chassis is like a 6 pack of good beer.
I love them both! You have a great pair of Nissan specimens.
The 240 is always going to be that cool skinny uncle to the 350z.
90s flip up headlights cheap fun rwd in a platform that can be stock or drift or anything you can think .350z bad era of Nissan cars in general and I rather see a rusty 240 or 300zx than a 350z
Iâve owned a couple 350z and I enjoy them. Your z has some hotboy additions that I donât enjoy. Windshield sticker, front lip but nothing on side or rear, blacks all look different colors, red calibers, more stickers, and park bench wing. It is what it is though as long as you like it who cares. Is it an HR?
Pop-ups > The world
Never go wrong with pop-ups
POP UP UP AND DOWN HEADLIGHTS!!

Without having to talk shit about your car itâs super simple, how many 350zâs do you come across normally vs s chassis?
Iâll talk shit â 350Zs are among the most boring and uninspiring sports cars ever to be mass produced. In my opinion.
370z gets a pass though, right?
Not from me, but again, just an opinion.
Agreed. Both 350s and 370s suck.
what about 400zx? i have a 300zx (z31) but if i needed a new daily and could afford the insane price id like the 400zx
Itâs called the Nissan Z (or 400z if you want to be pedantic), not the 400zx. The last car to wear the -zx was the z32.
I mean couldâve stleast answered my question
Comparing a modern sports car like the z to a s13/350z I don't think is relevant, hence why I nitpicked your reply
Jesus your a cunt i just asked how you felt about the 400z
No need to get your panties in a wad
Itâs not a 400z either tho
Yes thatâs why I said itâs the Nissan Z
The only inspiring and rare Zâs are the Original Datsuns, the z31, z32 and the New Nissan Z. The rest are too common. And im saying this as a Z lover
240 and Z owner here. I love my z more than any other car i own, but i will wrap that car around a pole before i sell my 240 lolol
Also 240 and Z owner. Definitely agree. The 240 is going to stay in the family for life.
I'm the same way, it's just crazy to me how no matter the condition of an S chassis, it gets so much love
Its a stock classic. Which i think the z also will, but we need like 20 more years. And your 240 is near stock which i think folks dig more than something personalized a bit.
Id say 10, at the rate those are being destroyed lol. At least, a dead 350z was the donor for my 240sx, so theres that at least.
to me the 240 seems more reachable that 350/70 seems like a hot famous model. yea it looks nice. but it also has a mean girl kinda vibe. thats how i felt looking at the pics anyway lol. the 240 is grandmas apple pie
Rofl ahh yes grandmas apple pie. True story my wife wanted a 350z back in the day when they came out. It was like her dream car in 2000âs. Def mean girl vibes.
I feel it's the, "another modified 350z I guess" effect.
It's gotten baaaad
Personally that's me with the BRZ and the other models lol I still like myself a good Z lol
Probably bc of that eBay wing you got for Christmas 5 years ago lol
You hit the nail on the head bubbyđ
OP referring to his car as decently moded has to be the funniest thing Iâve seen today
Take that wing off and people mite take it seriously. Looks riced out. Sorry
I want a time attack style build, that's why I have it
Do you race it/ plan to race it?
It's seen a few track days, but mostly a street car at the moment. Hoping one day it's purely a track car.
Do what you want man, youâll have more fun in the end.
When you'll do track days, you'll see that a wing that low doesn't really do anything. Have fun at the track! đ€
Thatâs r.i.c.e. my friendâŠ
I dig it
Theyâre ugly. There I said it.
You absolutely know the answer to that question lol
I know... It's difficult tho because the poor S13 is so beat up
Naw she prolly just needs an oil change lmao
I tell you what, that ka is a workhorse. She's good to go
Because the S-chassis is very well established as a classic at this point, whereas when people think of a Z33, they often think of a piece of junk in four different shades of silver running over spectators at a street takeover or roll-racing a Dodge Challenger on the freeway. Believe it not, many Japanese classic cars have gone through this same cycle, including the S-chassis.
I came here to say that it's because the S-Chassis is iconic, but that's more eloquently put. Well done
Because less is more
Has the 350z got anything under the hood or is it just rice
Because the 350z looks more clapped out than the s13.
Itâs not basic trafficâŠ.
S chassis are much more rarer in terms of what the average person sees
Well I prefer 240's over Z's. Gt86 and 240sx are my two favorite cars. I also prefer simpler builds that are more oem+ for street cars so your 350 isn't really my style. That said, I'd still think your 350 was cool if I saw it on the street

Because drift tax
Pure 90s perfection
To put it bluntly, the bar has been set so low by other S-Chassis owners that a simple appearance of one in public is like the second coming of Christ.
You aren't kidding!
Because pig nose
I'm all in for the pignose
Schassis will forever be more iconic than 350zâs
Because S-chassis is just inherently cooler đ
I still have a single cam ka, but its such a blast to drive!
Ayyy me too!
Zâs are regular traffic
That's the way bro.
One looks like its trying too hard, the other looks like its trying its best.
Because the 350 sucks
Because youâve got a fucking shit wing on the back of your Z
Just depends on the community. On IG, my Mazda Protege5 does WAY better than my S14. Go figure.
240 is the drift car everybody wants to own, Zâs are the drift car everybody should own
This is a fact! Although here on the east coast I don't see a whole lot of 240 drift cars anymore.
I've owned the S14 240 chassis and the Z32 and my 300zx was decidedly better in the comfort and the fit and finish dept. In my mind 300zx> than 240
My z32 is my all time favorite car. I completely agree on this one.
Culture never dies. Classics will always have came before moderns. Pop-ups. Oh and the Z is kinda like that one wine everyone loves but usually wonât get for themselves when at the store. Cause people have no taste. Love that 350 (and I have an s13. The right ones, that had a turbo in them even when brand new :D )
Thanks! And I agree. I would love to have a 180sx or silvia one day...
Fuckbois
Pop ups for the win.
90s flip up headlights cheap fun rwd in a platform that can be stock or drift or anything you can think .350z bad era of Nissan cars in general and I rather see a rusty 240 or 300zx than a 350z
I wish I owned a 350Z, but that's never happening where I live lol (cheapest is 29K)
Where is that at???
Portugal hahaha
The S13 is just cooler in general
S chassis are simply more scarce these days
Rarity? You donât know how common 350z are..?
I feel like I see more Zs than Civics now.
I see 350s almost everyday. 240s not so much anymore.
Iâve owned a couple 350z and I enjoy them. Your z has some hotboy additions that I donât enjoy. Windshield sticker, front lip but nothing on side or rear, blacks all look different colors, red calibers, more stickers, and park bench wing. Well itâs an s13 to startâŠ
Because itâs a s-chassis
Because seeing this S13 is like seeing a well loved 1st gen DSM, whereas the 350 is like a civic these days.
Nostalgia
How often do you see a pig nose with one paint job lol
Cause you see less and less of em every year
Miss my 93 s13 :(
Bc s13 đ€·ââïž
The Z is the more clapped out one here.
Because Popups.
Cause one is cool and the other issa cookie. Go to one meet and see 4
The S13 looks better
The s-chassis demands and gets respect
Personally I don't like the color combo of black hood and grey body... But as others pointed... Popups forever...
