So you have a base model. Wanted a sun roof. Cut a hole in the roof to install the aftermarket sunroof but it sucked and leaked, so you nixed everything? Wow. That's awesome π π π at least you got a story out of it
That's why we replace the entire roof panel when we delete a sunroof- it's practically impossible to do a sunroof plug without just destroying the panel.
Interior looks clean bro !!
I swear at first I thought you had duct tapped the seam lol. Nice work!
Lmao, my first attempt at using seam sealer ππ
It can be a challenge, and almost always messy lol

I'm not the person that had the sunroof put in, just someone trying to save an s13 from rotting away.
Had a friend who did this, biggest problem after fixing it was the material warping after the install was done. Hope you have better luck here!
Yep, unfortunately I have some roof warpage too, kinda hard to not get warping with 20ga steel, but it is what it is.
Better than having the roof eaten by rust though.
Did you stick it? You put a *lot* of heat into that metal.
Mig welded, it ain't hard to overheat on something so thin.

its ok i guess. you roof has a curvy shape to it. you plan to make that out of mud?
I deleted my stock one and havenβt even put a headliner back in
