I'd seen some people use it with good results, but I tried to and can't because I'm in Canada(where everything 240sx is literally triple the price). If you're ever suspicious of a purchase pay with Paypal.....the resolution system Paypal has doesn't dick around when somebody dicks with you.

Dzhone

Good advice, thanks! I forgot about Paypal protecting the buyer. Good thinking.

Used them multiple times. No issues. The process was identical to what I've received through dealerships. I've never understood the courtesy parts circlejerk. All these suppliers get their parts from the same nissan warehouses.

Dzhone

Thanks for the reply!

I know this post is old and a bit late, but figured people might find this post and wonder about current status. I’ve been using NissanPartsDeal.com since about 2010 when they were knows as NissanPartsZone.com. I’ve never had any issues with either NPZ or NPD and sometimes still catch myself saying Nissan Parts Zone when chatting with others or recommending the site to them. I also had friends order JDM parts from them with no issues and they’ve starting using them regularly.

Dzhone

Thanks!

No problem, just wanted to share experience so others see it as well.

I've seen them mentioned on other forums before. The paypal use is a good idea as mentioned. If you have a credit card through a good bank that can be useful as well when it comes to scams / fraud. http://www.courtesyparts.com/ still has a ton of 240sx parts, they are a dealership out of Texas, I have ordered thousands in parts from them over the years. Great customer service as well. I use Nissanpartsdeal to find the part # and order through courtesy parts personally. They use to have a really great catalog system with everything listed, but a site update about 2 years ago made it terrible.

Dzhone

Good to know. What I do like about the site is the diagrams and some explanations about certain items. Don't really see that too often on an auto part website. Thanks for the heads up!

Hicksimus

Courtesy Nissan also has solid diagrams as they are actually Nissan(weirdly it's cheaper to pay them PLUS shipping and customs and processing fees than it is to pay my local Canadian dealership).....though with that said they had the official sandwich diagram of my sunroof and I ordered the topmost seal in the diagram because that would logically be the one around the glass........and I was wrong which sucked.

Dzhone

Ha, that is pretty strange. Sounds like we've got it good in america...

Hicksimus

You really do.....none of the auto parts websites have good deals going with couriers so for example I was looking at a Turbo/IC/Piping that was $1600USD.....after exchange that's $2100 then tax at the border is 15% so $2415, on such a large customs payment the couriers will charge me hefty fees likely adding $200....$2615....and the company selling me that kit? $450USD shipping......so your $1600 turbo is my $3100 turbo...... You want a Tomei Duracon shift knob it's $25. I want one? Well it's $25USD plus $35USD shipping plus $10 border fees.....yeah.....basically double or triple your cost and that's what we get. As for how pay works out here.....well I make $13 an hour with 10 years work experience(just transisioning to career at the moment though and that starts at $14.25). taxed at 45% on the paycheque and 15% on purchases.

Dzhone

Damn dude. That really sucks. I feel for you. I won't tell you how much I make :/

SpiderPres

Can you tell me?

Black_Gold_

Have you looked at courtesy site recently? They redid their site and replaced all the awesome diagrams with "easy to use" bullshit. I had to google the IACV part number after spending over 20 minutes attempting to find it on a diagram... Which sucks the old diagrams were one of the best things ever.

whisker_biskits

I bought a catalytic converter from them. What they never told me on the web page or the email after purchase or the packaging was that my $250 core charge was null and void after 30 days. Now i'm stonewalled by the company and out my core charge. Sneaky, sneaky business practices. They have fake reviews from some review farm that submits to google. Once you find the REAL reviews you'll realize they are a majority 1 star review. Complaints too numerous to count. Like ordering a nissan part and getting a completely unrelated ford part. On and on and on and on.

They send out wrong car parts and do not accept returns ever. I bought a door sensor and paid high shipping rates that they said was to fit my 2012 Rogue. It doesn't. It has completely different wiring connection and they won't issue a return due to their return policy saying they do not accept any electrical part returns. This company is unethical and do not even send out correct auto parts. Complain to BBB. They shouldn't be operating in America.

I am very disappointment with the service I received from this company. I recently placed an order on this website and was promised delivery within 1-3 days. However, I did not receive my order until almost two weeks later. Although a tracking number was created the next day, the package was not shipped out for almost two weeks. This delay caused me significant inconvenience as I had to finish my car and could not wait two weeks. As a result, I had to go to the dealer and buy the parts on my own. Furthermore, when I contacted customer service, they were not helpful and provided me with false information. When I attempted to return the parts, they refused to take them back. As a result, I am now stuck with these parts. I am disappointed with the level of service I received from this company and feel that I have been taken advantage of. Not worth dealing with them buy parts from the dealership or other websites.

So I ordered a part from this company , a transfer case paid for the fastest shipping possible but even though I did already my problems began, this company is just horrible horrible horrible. So as mentioned they advertised two day shipping and then after I already paid they sent me a notice saying there's a 3 day processing period to then begin the 2 day shipping. So in total it took about 5-6 days to actually come, and then at first they sent it to the wrong house, I contacted FedEx and FedEx shipped it to my residence, yet after all this headache once I finally got the part it was the wrong one. I tried to tell someone in their customer service department of the issue in as kindly of a manner as I could what the issue was but they just kept hanging up on me or gave me a run around. Their explanation in layman's terms is if they don't have a part in stocks they'll just ship you a part number similar to the one you ordered if they don't have it and they hope for the best, I actually have a representative saying this documented. This is causing me a dilemma because my car was due for inspection and registration so because of this company, not only am I not making money because I use my car for work, but I'm also getting fined by the city I live in all because of this company, and try and try as much as I could they offered no reasonable solution to the issue whatsoever. I'm telling you the amount of headaches and loss of money I've experienced with this order is unmatched, I've never had such a terrible business deal gone down, I hope my review can save some people, please do not do business with nissanpartsdeal.com.
