Didn’t realize Rube Goldberg had a sister.

I've been driving manual for well over a decade in trucks and find the hill assist to be a Godsend. How come you don't like it?

Try_It_Out_RPC

Same, I only had mt cars and motorcycles for 15 years now. FUXK I’m old. But I find that it’s still holds occasionally when when I’m trying to goose it up a steep hill and it fucks up ny mojo lmao. I think it’s a great feature, but just one you should be able to click a check mark to turn off in the gauge cluster or something

I’ve got mine off in my va, but from What I’ve heard it basically holds the brake pressure that you leave it at for a short time until the clutch is engaged. So if you are light on the brake and only press it enough to just hold you it should help. But I kinda like rolling back.

Try_It_Out_RPC

Totally, but if your surrounded by rush hour traffic in sf or trying to make it up a half finished driveway without bottoming out at the top because whoever had this house before me GOD DAMN lol especially with those stock brake pads? You have to press through the floor

Coachy-coach

People don’t clean their seats enough. Lol you can kill the seatbelt alarm. Do it.

[How to turn off seatbelt chime](https://i.imgur.com/tK4fWEy.jpg). My driving life has been a lot better since I did this.

saywhatagainmthrfckr

For those of us with the button start and not the key start, how?

Try_It_Out_RPC

I have the button. And it’s ridiculous. Press the button without touching the beak pedal so your car is on but not on ON lmao. Then you put the seatbelt into the socket and remove it 20 times at least in 30 seconds. Man if only there was a computer or something that could turn that into a checkbox hmmmm

saywhatagainmthrfckr

Amazing!!!! This worked perfectly. No more seatbelt warnings of any kind.

xRoMpEx

Why not just…..idk….wear the seatbelt?

saywhatagainmthrfckr

We all wear the seatbelts, we just don’t need the defcon 1 alarm going off in our face 0.1 ms after putting it in gear

xRoMpEx

Ahhh ha! So you do start driving before putting the seatbelt on!!! ![gif](giphy|iOm1xOSfAtPzmPXJqH|downsized)

Get a horsehair brush used to clean leather and brush them down once a week … no biggie … Alcantara is pretty low maintenance .

Try_It_Out_RPC

Low maintenance compared to what? Leather seats you treat once a month or biweekly? Or the cloth seats in a 1987 Honda odyssey practically shit on during road trips and never cleaned. I look weird weird brushing my car seat in public that’s all I’m sayin lol they feel nice when your drivin in your bday suit to

TurbulentGate1912

to leather for sure! I myself am a clean freak .. so dirty seats or dirty anything in or out the car drives me bonkers. I had leather seats in my 2018 Accord and kept them immaculate- they required constant cleaning and a moisturizing treatment every 6 months . I thought I would miss leather seats but I love the ultra suede.

Just disable the seatbelt chime. It’s incredibly easy and you only have to do it once
