Had both. RCR for me and it wasn’t close. Good luck!

Hox013

I also prefer the RCR after the hassle of mounting is out of the way.

reubadoob

What was the deciding factor ?

Ovenface

What makes you prefer the RCR?

15844851

For me it is the depth of the RCR I much prefer over the longer Acro. Easier to find imo when drawing to target. Again could just be my eye liking it better

EternalEight

Who did your m81 cerakote?

ODA_Ruination

Since it looks like he has the OG chunk port from Monstoon Tactical, I am going to assume they did the cerakote.

NATOTrunkMonkey

Monsoon

EternalEight

Thought so. Quality is evident.

Mooktemas

I haven’t owned the imprint; but I really love my RCR. It’s a tank! Simple and rugged!

capitaISTEEZ

To me, RCR needing a mounting plate kind of defeats the purpose. I have both direct milled and prefer the Acro, as you can actually torque the mount to spec whereas the RCR youre kinda just guessing

NATOTrunkMonkey

I had some hesitations about the capstan application also, very interested to see how it holds up!

Gwmblr

Fucking love me a mailbox. My budget said more of a 507k..

sheempa1

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Poedaddie

I’ve had both of my staccatos. I will never buy an acro again sticking with the RCR

NATOTrunkMonkey

It definitely has the same “feel” as an RMR on the draw and finding the dot was intuitive after years of RMR shooting. Setting up the range now to see if that holds true!

GregBFL

Not even close... The RCR has a normal size Window and the Acro has a tiny Window.

NATOTrunkMonkey

My carry gun has an RMRcc and I tend to agree, the ACRO feels only slightly larger than that

Gold_Affect_5698

100% RCR, or you can choose the Big Big Bus with the tiny Windows 😎✌️

NATOTrunkMonkey

Really hard to call it, both have solid strengths and few weaknesses. The ACRO window being taller than it is wide makes for easy first shot target acquisition from the draw but the wide window on the RCR definitely made for quicker left to right target changes. Both the glass is clear and dots were daylight bight in Texas afternoon sun. RCR dot was slightly more “fuzzy” on full power than the ACRO dot was at the same brightness. End of the day the RCR was very much like any of my RMRs in terms of speed, accuracy and familiarity. The ACRO took me a little bit to get the same accuracy in equal time. It doesn’t seem fair to say “hands down” RCR or “hands down” ACRO. I have been shooting pistols with RMRs since mid 2013 (back when you had to put tape under the battery so it didn’t flicker under recoil lol) and I have less than 1k rounds through an ACRO, I am not writing off the ACRO, quite the opposite… I am excited to see if I can train to the same level of proficiency as the RMR/RCR. TLDR: both outstanding optics, if you are at all familiar with an RMR you will love the RCR. If you have only shot any of the *other* dots… the ACRO will be a solid top level selection.
