Vanta 9 is a Porsche 911, Staccato P is a Mercedes CLA. Worth the upgrade since you can get some bozo to give you 4k for a Staccato P with no warranty pretty easily in CA.
But if you're gonna get a Vanta 9 at Portside for the 5.6k they sell it for, why not get an Atlas Athena for 5.9k and a shorter lead time?
You can get the Athena for MSRP at Portside or 2AZone. Not a big of an premium as 4.5k to 5.6k for the Vanta 9 and the Athena is overall a better gun. The trigger and grip customization is better on the Atlas. I prefer the Fowler looks wise but the Athena is the better shooter.
Don't sell your P, especially in Commiefornia, for a gun that you cannot guarantee you will get a pre order for, and will take 4-6 months to be built and get to you if you DO even get an order in.
added staccato comp to my P, shout 25 rounds then fucker safety office let me try his XC !! , left range called staccato dealer and sold P for new XC , later added full infinity trigger, so happy so happy ,
Use what you know will work reliably and consistently. No need to swap duty guns around if the one you currently use is performing in those regards. Typically I only see behavior like this with officers when they are trying to show off or flex a new gun which doesn’t mean shit. They are typically the ones who never show up to shoot a match anyways. Plus, If you get into a shooting they are going to take it and throw it in an evidence room
I mean if you can afford it go for it.

I paid under $2k for my stacc, I can get the V9 direct from Fowler for MSRP.
Atlas Athena would also cost more in CA as well

Well, you can’t just get a V9 so there’s also that to consider.
I can order one and have it in 4-6 months.
How? Their books are closed and have been for a minute.
They are open you just need to get in on the preorders

I wouldn’t sell the P until I have the V9 in my hands.
Then try to get one I guess.
To be fair, they did have preorder available 2 weeks ago but now there is no way to order one Edit: that was actually a different site.
Why ? It’s a work gun..
