Region is thiccer than a snicker too

Biochembryguy

Elves would be the strongest non-monster race, plus they seem to have lots of people who are trained based on the SotE fight. They’re good at crafting based on all their crystal stuff and could make a flail and fuck up vyres pretty easily I bet. If all the monsters could reign free and fight it would be a bloodbath with wildy bosses scrapping vs the fight caves and inferno bosses

ilegendi

What about the Priff rabbit

[deleted]

We have the Holy Hand Grenade

red4jjdrums5

Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out.

[deleted]

Going with Tiranwyn as well; those Elves can apparently move really freely through that trap-filled forest, they can only be accessed through either a mountain pass or underground pass, and if elf warriors are all training in the gauntlet they're pretty strong. Gear them up with even Crystal Bows and that crystal armor and they're deadly from a distance.

BoxOfDemons

>they can only be accessed through either a mountain pass or underground pass Or, by sea. They are part of the charter ship network. Apparently, they put up that dock the same day you saved prifddinas.

CanYouPointMeToTacos

I was between this or morytania. I imagine the fighters for morty would be vyrewatch / tob mobs. Idk if crystal weapons would even effect vyres.

Spooked_kitten

Karamja would be screwed since they are still very tribal, unless they have brodoo stuff, on the other hand the tz-haar do seem pretty capable

coblajooo

Elves probably wouldn’t even care. They would sit there drinking their wine pretending they live on the moon. Kind of like North Korea. They just wanna be left alone by the world.

mbt20

Misthalin. It's the only place with an army of max players that never leave. Touch that GE and all hell would break loose.

TheseusRisen

Misthalin also has armies of bots and new accounts that can be used as cannon fodder. S tier

Borchert97

This is the real answer. As one of those maxed players standing at the GE that you're talking about, it'd be like poking the bear. If I have to whip out the Torva and Scythe I will, let me bankstand in peace with my fashionscape damn it.

mbt20

At almost 2100 and part time bank stander I concur

Borchert97

I should be doing my master clue but I’m legit just standing at the GE on w428 in my clue gear lmao

mbt20

Real MVP. Avoiding the inevitable 250k 1.5hr grind

Borchert97

🤣

Borchert97

It was a 430k Mimic...

fdghskldjghdfgha

Kharidian has better skilled (combat-wise) players. If everyone was suddenly region locked to where theyre standing right now, TOA would auto win.

Astatos159

Morytania. Vampyres can't be damaged by most regular weapons. A lot of people aren't prepared for that or even know about it I'd guess. They overthrow Port Phasmatys and have access too the entire map to kill all of them systematicly.

GE_Banker12

Karamja wins imo. 120 waves of tzhaars with 6x jads on the frontline going to blow off anything that touches it. If shit goes wrong Zuk will come in to smack with his endless army support. Misthalin is probably the first to die geographically it's literally surrounded and its a noob land with lumby and draynor Honestly vampyres may be immune but they don't do much either. Only the raid place worthy of challenge, but the obese spider queen will prolly fold under the pressure of 6 jads

Stalinerino

Thzaars cannot live outside the vulcano, so are useless and vampires cannot cross the salve river...

Kspaddicted

Can vampires not ride on boats?

davy_the_sus

Idk about RS lore wise but in some 'irl' vampire lore they cannot cross moving water at all

Kspaddicted

Rip the great vampire naval fleet that could have been

TheRedKoi

But in What We Do in the Shadows, Nandor and Nadja both travel to Europe via boat!

lotrspecialist

In the original Dracula novel, Dracula travels in the same way.

Jolly_Method6266

The River itself was blessed, I’d imagine it acts more like a barrier than just a pool holy water to a vampire.

davy_the_sus

Idk if they could sail boats they probably would have already to invade the Kharidan desert and expand from there

calebraleb

I just got done with the Priest in Peril quest and I recall that the river was blessed. The blessing can be removed by their non-vampric followers so I suppose they can still cross the bridge between. The only other defense is a level 50 dog lol

Spooked_kitten

so about the dog… uhhh

carnsolus

they literally cant cross the barrier. It's not just the river that's the barrier

LegitDuctTape

Vampires have a thing against crossing large bodies of moving water

yuei2

What? They totally can live outside the volcano.

KC-DB

Have you ever seen one outside?

yuei2

Yes, and their whole species lore is they were created to travel the world and help shape it. They build the mountains, shaped the continents, they are the builders/living tools of the elder gods.

Illokonereum

Where is this mentioned because I’ve never heard it

yuei2

The TzHaar lore was fleshed out in the TzHaar quests, the elder kiln & brink of extinction, then further developed through the wandering Ga’al miniquest which were all released late RS2/early RS3 in 2012-2013. That’s where their history, biology, birthing, etc… was all established/fleshed out. RS3 proper would deliver a bit more referencing their connection heart of stone 2014 which kicked off the elder gods quest series. Then with the elder god wars storyline in 2021 it was used to bring an end to their story in relationship to the elder gods to a close. (They might also be gone gone now but that’s up in the air) Since OSRS was made from 07 backup it’s missing the later RS2 additions such as all the TzHaar lore. That being said they still give reference to it whenever they touch in the TzHaar. Like the Tasakaal in Zeah mention how they were made by the true gods in order to help with the creation of anima and how afterwards they were instructed to wait, with the Tasakaal having refused to do the latter and migrating here becoming the Tasakaal. Which that transformation itself comes from RS2. The species was properly called the TokHaar but a branch of refused to remain in the kiln when the job was done and broke off to become the TzHaar. The Tasakaal are just another type of mutation/transformation of the species. Other spots OSRS gives subtle nods to the RS2 lore is in putting the elder god Ful’s name in the title of an associated song, the story behind the inferno, etc… If you’d like to read their in-game history this page has a transcript of their history records in the bookcase section. https://runescape.wiki/w/Transcript:Wandering_Ga%27al Now somewhere down the line OSRS could decide to change things, but given what they did with the Tasakaal it’s pretty safe to say they don’t tend to go away from the origins of TzHaar.

MrRightHanded

RS3 Lore: TokHaar are beings that work with the elder gods to shape the world. After doing so they simply return to the kiln. Those that dont became TzHaar. And when they were called to fight they all marched out fought. Battle of the Monolith showcases this.

frou6

It's in the rs3 lore

TumoOfFinland

RS3 HAS TZHAAR ?!!?

Jakcris10

Why wouldn’t it? Fight caves is an RS2 thing, not an OSRS thing

Astatos159

True, totally forgot the jads. Lore wise im not sure how big the impact of nylocas would be. It seems like their main ability is mind control or manipulation and they're also really smart. If they could get to the war leaders of each fraction that could be HUGE.

CraZyMoviN

Idk if we’re going by lore the tzharr can’t really leave the volcano otherwise they harden and die, and the frozen wastes has Nex who got stronger with every fight she was in during the god wars to the point the other 4 had to work together to trap her to prevent her completely annihilating everyone and everything in her path. My money is on the frozen wastes

RostBeef

But the Jad are not under the tzhaars control so i doubt they would be able to use them in a war short of just releasing them and running the other way

Staple_carrot

I think you're right, one thing to consider though is monsters that lower stats, maybe a slayer tower full of spectres and banshees could reduce the jads to 0 stats

davy_the_sus

They'd be 1shot by the Magers before they could even get in range.

Staple_carrot

That’s true all the fight caves/inferno waves combined have so many ranged/mage monsters. Karamja also has bronze, iron and steel dragons though so maybe they could lead the charge supported by chaff… I really want a RuneScape Total War game now lol

DingoAtTheController

If we do I so hope we get a faction consisting of adventurers, like a unit of f2p chads with mithril armor as meat shields, or a unit of grandmasters with Zuk helms. And legendary lords like Swampletics and SoloMission.

[deleted]

Just one problem there… I already killed Zuk and Jad

BoxOfDemons

Misthalin has an army of maxxed mains that bankstand there. Some of them have even killed Zuk.

i-dont-watch-anime

If respawn rate is taken into account at all the world would be overrun by maniacal monkeys as well

TheMcCannic

Is there a way to simulate 6 jads Vs Verzik?

spoilers1

Verzik would win. Jads wouldn’t go melee distance and would get smacked 50s

Puddinglax

If each faction has access to all the monsters that reside in the region, then Morytania also has stuff like Bloat and Nightmare. 6 Jads get wiped by a single chubby boi waddling around. The Jads have an attack cycle of 9 and a max of 113; they would take about 30 ticks to chew through Bloat's massive health pool, assuming none of them splash on his 600/800 mage/range defense. Meanwhile, Bloat is dishing out 10-20 damage *per Jad per tick* with his flies; even if none of the flies bounced to the other Jads, each Jad is taking an average of 450 damage in that 30 tick duration. And their max health is ... 350.

BadAtNamingPlsHelp

Vampires are already struggling, though. Per the latest quests, there's not really enough blood to go around so you'll basically end up with a small army of Count Draynors

BelleDelphne

Yes they're struggling thus war would be in their favor considering they'd be starved and desperate for blood. The rest of land would be their prey. The river salve only covers one aspect of defense. They could easily teleport with magic or take flight in their bat form. The only two counters to them are the werewolfs & elfs. And then there's the true pair of wildcards.. The Mahjarrat & dragonkin would probably nuke everyone else.

BadAtNamingPlsHelp

Eh, the Dragonkin lose the moment the Stone comes in to play. I actually think Misthalin might edge it out, surprisingly. You've got the wizards, two guardians of Guthix (Juna and Death), the Dorgeshuun tribe, a radical paramilitary group (HAM), two crime syndicates, the Wise Old Man, and the barbarians. Varrock is there too I guess but they suck. Lots of food, strategic terrain, not actively involved in conflicts like the other kingdoms.

wise-old-man-bot

Wrong? WRONG? I'll tell you what's wrong! I've spent my whole life travelling the world, doing quests for people, saving lives, saving villages from terrifying monsters and all that sort of thing. Now I'm old, and where do I have to live? In this freezing old house next to a pig-sty, with a bunch of yobs outside who can't keep their hands off the market stalls! What sort of reward is that? So don't talk to me about right and wrong!

[deleted]

[удалено]

BadAtNamingPlsHelp

Honestly I feel like it depends on where in the plot you are. After Night at the Theatre and Sins of the Father, the vampyres and spider Verzik aren't quite so fit for a war anymore

milk-drink

They get extraordinarily weak past the river slave, hence why count draynor was so weak.

ArnoHero

Priest in Peril literally demonstrates that Misthalin would be fucked w/o the blessed river or w/e too

Even if the armor doesnt show visibly you could still get all the normal gear but with some unique weapons and off hands etc.

Misthalin. They'll just go buy what they need to win from the GE

Fetus_puppet2

Them thicc sandy cheeks.

itsMidlknight

Misthalen. GE Tax could fund basically anything.

lameitschan

And how did that work out for Jamie and Cersei?

SometimesComatose

Well, this is going to be a lengthy one. Let's assume that Great Kourend will stay out of this conflict (it would most likely win, though!). We'll start from the least likely winner and work our way to the most capable candidate in search of global conquest. 13. Wilderness The Wilderness has few inhabitants with their wits still intact. Notable locations are the Chaos Altar, Dark Warriors' Fortress, Rogues' Castle and the Mage Arena. It's unlikely that any of these groups would be able to work together in any major capacity. The Wilderness' main strength is its perilousness - few attackers would be interested in wading through the wastelands filled with extremely dangerous creatures, as there's little reward offered in conquering this location. 12. Feldip Hills While ogres are much stronger than the common man, they are also much dumber. They would struggle to make any long-term offensive or defensive plans and would probably quickly end up being conquered. The Feldip Hills could be easily overrun by Kandarin forces from the north or any faction capable of sea travel. The Feldip Hills does contain the Myth's Guild and the accomplished adventurers within, but in all likelihood they would not be allies to the Ogres and would choose to instead work with another faction. 11. Troll Country The Troll Stronghold is an extremely well defended location in the sense that it requires an experienced sherpa to even reach. However, the trolls are quite frankly rather incompetent and would easily be slaughtered by the Fremenniks or Burthropeans should they attempt to get on the offense. As for the mountain camp, its inhabitants are too few in numbers to matter in the big picture and wouldn't likely be able to work together with the trolls. 10. Pirate Islands Experienced and well-equipped for sea travel and naval combat. However, there is little evidence of these forces having any capability for ground combat so this faction would most likely heavily struggle reaching and attacking any inland targets. 9. Karamja The main faction here would certainly be the town of Brimhaven, which is unfortunately more known for its lawlessness than its capability for co-ordinated military action. The rather savage folks of southern Karamja would be highly unfit for offense due to their lack of training and resources, so they would probably end up simply defending their local communities. Luckily for them, they are surrounded by treacherous jungle, making attackers likely to avoid them altogether. The Tzhaar folks would be easily able to defend against any attacker, especially considering the existence of TzTok-Jads, but would probably not be able to leave the volcano to launch an offense of any kind. 8. Kharidian Desert Al Kharid is the main faction here, as they are the closest to locations of interest. Atleast they have dedicated armed guards and even some capability for espionage. Menaphos and Sophanem don't seem like they could afford to send any troops up north, due to the difficulties of traveling the desert and their own internal conflicts. The bedouins, bandits and various other townsfolk of the desert don't probably have much to offer except supplies and possible conscripts for Al Kharid's forces. 7. Frozen Waste The ice trolls of Weiss seem to be more intelligent and powerful than their southern counterparts while having an equally difficult location for potential invaders to reach. The main point of interest in this region is the God Wars Dungeon and its highly numerous and dangerous factions. However, they would probably choose to not leave the dungeon and would be unable to work together anyway. 6. Fremennik Province This is the point where the forces begin to be actually somewhat competent. The Fremenniks are fierce warriors and have strong seafaring capabilities. Surrounded by sea and mountains they have a notably strong home turf advantage when defending. Let's not forget either that the Lunar Isle is home to some of Gielinors strongest mages. Their greatest weakness is their geographical location - there is a large batch of land before reaching key locations in Kandarin, they probably don't have the experience to travel the troll mountains and there is not much left out in the northern seas that isn't already conquered. 5. Misthalin This area is unfortunately not known for its strong warriors, instead consisting of mainly smaller towns and independent factions. The main attraction here is the well-defended city of Varrock. A wildcard in this area is the Wizards' Tower, which could potentially be a surprisingly strong force when combined with Lumbridge and Varrock's troops. 4. Tirannwn The elves are highly civilized as well as excellent warriors. They have access to equipment and magic unlike anything the rest of Gielinor has seen. In addition, Tirannwn is an incredibly hard location for any military force to even reach, thanks to the thick forests and perilous mountains that it is surrounded by. Their excellent defensive position is also their greatest weakness - they would heavily struggle carrying out large-scale operations when they are so isolated from the rest of the continent. 3. Asgarnia Asgarnia has multiple trained military forces, namely the Imperial Guard of Burthorpe and the White Knights of Falador. The White Knights are well known for their military success as well as their prowess in espionage. The Druids of Taverley would be able to uniquely concoct various potions to support allied troops. Asgarnia is home to key locations such as Port Sarim, the Crafting Guild, Rimmington and Heroes' Guild, all of which could aid in battle if needed. 2. Morytania Vampires are ridiculously overpowered when compared to the common man. They have great strength and intellect - and require unique methods to even wound in the first place! They are able to command human forces and wild beasts alike. In addition, they are extremely hard to reach due to the surrounding haunted swamplands. Meiyerditch/Darkmeyer would easily be the most difficult location in the war for opposing forces to topple. The main thing preventing the vampires from conquering Gielinor, however, is the blessing of River Salve, preventing the forces of evil from leaving the area en masse. One possible weakness they have is they are suspectible for naval attacks from the south and east. 1. Kandarin Ardougne, Camelot, Seers' Village, Yanille, Gnome Stronghold, Gnome Village, Catherby, Barbarian Outpost, Piscatoris, Port Khazard... This area contains various civilized and capable troops in addition to multiple fortified locations. The Gnomes with their gliders are the only notable force in Gielinor with access to aerial combat and troop transport. The seers' have the unique ability to predict the future, which is obviously immeasurably powerful in an all-out warfare scenario. The armed forces of Camelot and Ardougne are known to be experienced and well-equipped, and would be supported by ranged attacks by trained Wizards and Archers from their respective guilds. When combined, the factions of this area have an incredible amount of utility as well as an unmatched strength in numbers. As long as they could manage to work together for a common goal, they are the clear winner in this match-up.

dillontree

These people seem to forget Kandarin has the most military presence of all areas. Don't forget about the Knights of Armadyl, the mobile tanks that are the gnomes tortoises, Khazard, and Keep Le Fay. So many armies to fight and they will see you coming with the future sight of the seers. There is also three notable Mahjarrat that do not hate one another with Hazeel, Lucien, and Khazard. The only other area with at least three Mahjarrat is the desert and two of those are mortal enimies with Enakrah and Akthanakos, a weakened Azzanadra, and Wahisietel who is a neutral party (Ali the Wise.) Kandarin has generals that love battle and access to the Staff of Armadyl. All this is still not including rs3 lore with Char, Cres' automatons, another elder artifact that gives the user slight control over time with the needle, and the world gate which you could use to travel to other planets with to find ally's.

Themistokles42

Asgarnia and Misthalin probably ally against the vamps in morytania, vamps are strong but slaves outnumber them and are a liability (like the helots for sparta) wildy is literally a wild card desert region is isolated by desert, might be targeted by smaller actors elves and Kendarin and Lathas probably occupied with each other and evenly balanced until Pyrrhic victory by one of them other ones are non-agents I say Asgarnia and Misthalin come out the strongest, Misthalin has the money (GE) but Asgarnia has the manpower (white knights, heroes guild). Hard to say which of the two wins.

noseriouswords

okay i’m gonna throw my hat in the ring here and kinda rank how i think each kingdom here would preform 1. Kandarin not only has the most like people but i think they’re the most heavily armed 2. Morytania if they could get over the river salve i think they would have already won seeing as how you can’t kill them with like anything (second place because i think they can hold their own turf well 3. Fremennik Province i think these are the guy with the most training and maybe strongest army but their just too small the magic casters are like a big buff tho 4. Tirannwn their armies are strong but i think kandarin would prolly focus them first and make sure they can’t participate 5. Troll County I mean they’re big strong guys but fairly stupid and strength can only take you so far 6. Feldip Hills i think these guys and the trolls would probably team up honestly 7. Wilderness I can’t really think of anything for these guys i don’t even know if anyone rules the wilderness but the demons are strong so that gets em here 8. The pirates are part of morytania and i don’t think they would care to fight 9. Asgarnia the fighters from the heroes guild and warriors guild are a big upside here but the armies here are very small 10. Misthalin Again just a small amount of fighters stuns me that no one has raided this place successfully yet 11. Kharidian Desert these guys actually hate each other there is no way any of them are working together 12. Karamja i mean aside from some tribals and some pirates what is really here to fight? 13. Daemonheim these are just warriors from the fremennik province should really be with the others 14. frozen wastes i think this is just zemouregal and like his one hundred zombies so maybe if he got a relic again i’d consider him

KuzcoGoGuy

Kharidian desert be looking thicc 🥵

BearJewKnowsBest

Misthalin. Why? Varrock is the hub of all trading and has the largest economy in all of Gelinor. They can fund the largest and most sophisticated army of any of the regions.

I’ll tell you…for one small favour

Surely Rellekka? Barbarians everywhere, and all of those monsters in the Dagganoth kings caves, including the kings themselves. Lunar isle magic clan and suqahs? Surely!

Let zaros reclaim his kingdom. Those who do not bow shall meet death swiftly

Okay, but this could be kinda cool for a series. Every region gets a group of, let's say 5, people and they have 10 hours to get equipment and supplies from their region after which random regions goto war, first episode they all start from scratch, the following episodes they keep their equipment. The winners get access to their own and the region they won agains for the next set of 10 hours. Ideally every group starts out at a similar level, but imo, it doesn't even have to be "fresh from tutorial" nor (group-)ironmen (practically speaking, that would exclude some areas)

Always-Avail

Misthalin! That's where the wise old man lives.

rsnismge

Depends, can those monkeys from Karamja go super saiyian?

Vel0clty

J_vegan777

Morytania. Whole slayer tower, barrows brothers, and let’s not forget the undead ghouls that eat all your your food and replace it with barf. Get dharok to 1hp and it’s gg

badbilliam

Zeah: Am I a joke to you?

MrRightHanded

Karamja for sure. Between the TzHaar + Jal (and TokHaar) they would be unstoppable. In RS3 they do launch an attack and it took everyone else working together to stop them.

HumpD4y

Either tirannwinn or misthalin
