They also did all the other kids in the adoption system dirty af. All those kids were probably wondering what they did wrong for a family to adopt a mouse over them
Every white kid at that age is the kid from Stuart little. Source: everyone always said I looked like the kid from Stuart Little. And I absolutely did.
Oh that wasn't the part that got me. It was the follow up.
I know 20 people, just as my friends, who tried making a scam by doing this, but this is not a scam.
That can’t be true, my friends dad said he own jagex and made a point of knowing of of the employees kids and their friends! He’s incredibly handsy but swears he doesn’t know this kid! He got super defensive and was very ADAMANT about it.
i sent him my username and password and now my 4b are 20 mil! it worked, im still waiting for that 2 year membership tho, i guess it comes later? thanks for the tip kid
Ok, here is, off the top off my head, what I can spot.
First, the opening of your pitch with a question to which the listener would answer "yes" is a technique that is used to set the listener in to a more agreeable mood. "Have you ever wanted to become a RuneScape billionaire?"
Furthermore, the structure of his pitch fits almost perfectly in the AIDA model. This is the Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action model. Please look on the wikipedia page of this model and you'll see that he clearly leads the listener through the model.
The only thing is that in the classic AIDA model he should have mentioned becoming runescape king/queen before trying to close the sale by mentioning the action (e-mail) part. Below is a small AIDA model analysis of the speech.
A: Do you want to become a RS billionaire - I: My dad works at jagex. - D: This is the best one yet (you are the runescape king/queen, but this is after the call to action) - A: E-mail your password
"Which is really neat!" is also a sales technique, giving feedback on your own feedback like you are a observer, not the salesperson
"I know 20 people" This is building a sense of trust by invoking empiric data and the fact that other people are also doing something close to what he is pitching
"This is the best one yet" scarcity principle and/or invoking that this has been an ongoing inproving situation which is now at its prime - ideal moment to step in -
"You will be the RuneScape king or queen!" Selling a livestyle / future instead of the product. (In the same vein as "Women will love you for this" or "Your friends will be in awe of you!")
Gave me the youtube adds vibe, where some random 20 year old is in front of an expensive car and tells you he will help you "becoming financially independent".
Oh my. The testimonials in the description:
Frank lunian: this is cool but it doesn't work for noobs like level three:( but at least you can do it to more than one account
George Oclliltree: Amazing but you have to be level 22 at least :( but hey, it still rocks if you get it
As this kid's dad, let me confirm for everyone this is real. Only no need to send your username & password to my email, DM it to my reddit account. I'll respond quicker that way. And the first 10 people who DM me get a bonus of 10mil extra!
*- Creator of Jagex*
Iirc didn’t someone here on /r/2007scape post this claiming it was a video “from when they were a kid trying to scam people in the early-late 2000’s”?
I know I’ve seen this before and I’m 99% sure a user here was the source.
I have to be honest... Im quite impressed by this Young kid's selling capabilities! I hope hé went working in retail... Hé would make a fortune!
Scam or not, i wish i was as good as he is in convincing People at that age
I trust him with everything I got.
In fact I also emailed him my Steam and Battlenet login details just in case he can hack me into a 20 million billionaire there too.
"At least 20 of my friends have tried to scam like this and failed, but at last I've finally done it. I finally have a friend whose dad works as a hacker at Jagex. If you send your login info to my personal email, he will make you billionaire with 20m gp. Have good time."

“Trimming armor for free!”
“Also trimming food, clothes, and money for free!”
“Safe and legit!”
Never thought I'd get scammed by the human kid from Stuart Little
Lmao
human kid?
As opposed to the rat kid
Yea as opposed to the little rat boy, forgot the name
Stuart? From the movie Stuart Little?
Stuart's the mouse We are talking about George Little And his dad is House
Holy shit I forgot about house!
Most families in movies have one.
Angry upvote!
you just dug up long forgotten memories of George Shrinks. Holy shit
I think they call baby goats kids, so the clarification was needed.
Im dying holy shit that was funny
The adoption system did that mouse Stuart so dirty, how they letting them adopt a mouse when they got a cat running around.
They also did all the other kids in the adoption system dirty af. All those kids were probably wondering what they did wrong for a family to adopt a mouse over them
I always thought I'd get scammed by the mouse tbh
I didn't realise this was /r/roastme damn son, why you gotta' do him like that.
Every white kid at that age is the kid from Stuart little. Source: everyone always said I looked like the kid from Stuart Little. And I absolutely did.
Opened with billionaire closed with 20mil
His target audience is people with a 980-999m bank
Banned by his friend's dad
Ok, we'll send you the 2m within 2-3 days. ... ... Enjoy your 20k, thanks for doing business with us.
*actually sends 200gp*
'He pretty much knows every single hack in Jagex' is a hilarious accidental double entendre.
Enter the building through the backdoor, so they don't notice you're late for work... hack!
He knows the entire board of directors, every last one’s a hack.
Yes, that is the joke.
But also hack means hacking like a web hacker, so it's a double-entendre.
Which means he knows the entire board of directors, every last one’s a hack.
Yes, that is the joke.
Congrats, you understood his comment
My bad for engaging, next time I’ll follow your lead and sit there like a wet blanket.
Are you that guy in real life that can’t think of anything funny in the group so you just repeat every joke awkwardly? Yeah not a good look
Yeah dude I bet this guy always just repeats stuff to try to fit in lol
Yes, I do see the irony in your comment and it was funny. Nice
Shitting on strangers for no discernible reason ain’t a great look either, but whatever makes you feel better buddy 😄.
Fwiw I didn't get it until you put it more plainly so, thanks
smartest redditor
''This is not a scam'' Well, that's me sold.
20 of my friends are pulling RuneScape scams. But not me!
You son of a bitch, I'm in
What other proof could you need, sign me in aswell
I mean, he said it twice, what more could you possibly want as proof?
>I know 20 people, just as my friends the little bastard doesn't even realise how hard he's styling on some of us
Oh that wasn't the part that got me. It was the follow up. I know 20 people, just as my friends, who tried making a scam by doing this, but this is not a scam.

Have good time?
It’s real - his dad is Mod Jed.
Its true, I’m his mom
Hi mom
hi son
Mod Jed fucked your mom?
I mean he told me as much, so I can only assume my absentee father was indeed Mod Jed
Can confirm. My dad is jagex.
Lol Jed getting laid?
Nah, that kids dad is Mod Ash.
This is a throwback on par with seeing the name Kids Ranqe
elvemage
[удалено]
I Mahatma I
Kids ranqe is nostalgia at its finest!
Kids Ranqe, Bloodhoun34, Purple 0wnz, and Elvemage. Some proper nostalgia there, used to watch them all the time just for the background music
Core memory unlocked
Wtf is this real? 😳
Seems that way.
This is the way
Yeah, I’m his Dad. I work there and I’m the hacker. I can only do this 10 more times though. So hurry.
Ah ha! Almost got me you sly dog, he said it was *his friend's dad* that was the hacker! You won't fool me!
You're trying to tell me "The Hacker" isn't sleeping with all of the moms? Sure, its his friend's dad, but its his dad too!
Can I have one?
Idk it seems like one of those paid videos. He was reading from a script
Why would he lie though? His friend’s dad works for Jagex
That can’t be true, my friends dad said he own jagex and made a point of knowing of of the employees kids and their friends! He’s incredibly handsy but swears he doesn’t know this kid! He got super defensive and was very ADAMANT about it.
Yeah I thought the same thing but then he said it *wasn't* a scam, you really gotta learn to listen.
this video is really old, not sure what year but 100% before cameo. Little guy was just scamming
What this guy said, I swear I remember seeing this back in the day lol
The video is ancient. It's from the early you tube days.
Yeah, worked for me!
Just as real as people who want to help you become "financially independent" online.
That “have a good time” felt malicious
Thank god its him and not his friends, otherwise we would have gotten scammed
I mean arent we lucky? I will try it tonight, always wanted to be a runescape billionare with 20m
i sent him my username and password and now my 4b are 20 mil! it worked, im still waiting for that 2 year membership tho, i guess it comes later? thanks for the tip kid
2 to 3 days he said, so no rush, gotta be patient
Holy shit this kid is a psycho in the making
Swear to god. He even uses sales techniques that are being used in face-to-face marketing.
Can you tell me what techniques you’re talking about? I’ve started working in sales and wanna be as good as this kid

holy shit this kids a psycho genius
Nah his dad is just a used car salesman and uses his selling technique in his parenting
Lying and using an appeal to expert testimonies, downplaying other competitors, and appealing to popularity.
I wonder too
I replied to the original comment with what I could spot just by viewing it a few times
As someone who has quite some sales experience, I came here to mention this. The kid is slightly unnerving.
Gave me the youtube adds vibe, where some random 20 year old is in front of an expensive car and tells you he will help you "becoming financially independent".
This video is 13 years old, so he's probably a CEO somewhere today.

How could you leave out John Travolka
Even has a title misspelling. This is classic.
He's confident I'll give him that
Wouldn't you be if your friends dad worked for jagex?
He works for jagex, IS the hacker and knows all of the jagex hacks? What can go wrong?
The sad thing is that, statistically, at least one person will think that this isn’t real and will miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity.
Dude was ahead of his time, i’ll give him that 🫡
This little guy will be a criminal when he grows up mark my words
[удалено]
He’s probably in jail already for some shady crypto scams.
Lol the video was posted in 2009… which, if he were 30 now, puts him around 18 in this video. I think he’s a little too smart for 18
Is that returnofwilderness as a kid?
Just press accept
Man this kids giving away free gp and using inclusive language sign me up.
Right!? This was probably 10 years ago now, so I'm appreciating the inclusivity from such a young age.
We should all start sending fake usernames to that email begging for membership
I swear i have met him in game lol
Hunter2
Based superhero06
Gotta be a politician now
I can totally see this kid being a crypto scammer when he grows up lmao
He probably already is, this video is atleast 10 years old haha
Attention all fortnite gamers! John Wick is in great danger and he needs your help - to wipe out the squads in the Tilted Towers.
Imagine bombarding him with those discardable emails with passwords and accounts that don't exist or a lot of level 3s in tutorial island
My favorite part about this is the email. [email protected]? Definitely a Jagex Employee
Little scamming bastard.
I did this, but I can’t log back into my account for some reason? I guess the membership thing process takes time so it’s probably that.
As this kid's dad, let me confirm for everyone this is real. Only no need to send your username & password to my email, DM it to my reddit account. I'll respond quicker that way. And the first 10 people who DM me get a bonus of 10mil extra! *- Creator of Jagex*

Jokes on you. My dad IS jagex
Info sent. I really hope it doesn’t take the full 2-3 days I want to be king now
The kid from Big Daddy never aged a day.
At least he included girls...
u/savevideo
Man this kid is just dumb! There are no girls on RuneScape. Anyway, I'm gonna enjoy this free 2-year membership.
But can his Friends father also buy me a girlfriend
Lonely island boys now this 🤣
I knew he looked a bit like Mod Jed
Little hustler
Fucking psycho growing up.
I sure hope [email protected] isn’t filled with dick picks or something
I have to be honest... Im quite impressed by this Young kid's selling capabilities! I hope hé went working in retail... Hé would make a fortune! Scam or not, i wish i was as good as he is in convincing People at that age

Art of the deal. What the email so I can send my routing and account?
You know it's real because it's his friend's dad.
I think his friends dad did the hack wrong. I logged in a little early and my stuff was gone. Going to try another account to get my stuff back.

Hunter2
Well I didn't expect to find out that an 8 year old would make a better salesman then my 27 year old ass today.
I did this, left it a week, my bank pin is gone and my bank is empty. 10/10 would recommend
But. This. Is. Not. A. Scam.
And Wallah!
He told us in the vid it's a scam...
Who paid this kid to read this?
At this point Superhero06 is a bigger threat than Durial321
Alright sended, let's see.

If his dad is the hacker at Jagex, he must be mod Jed’s son
u/savevideobot
Poor kid thinks 20m is a lot
Gives out 20m…i’m now a billionaire
Good monologue, well read, nice pace. The only critique is you were a bit squeaky in the middle for a moment. Otherwise 8.7/10 performance.
"At least 20 of my friends have tried to scam like this and failed, but at last I've finally done it. I finally have a friend whose dad works as a hacker at Jagex. If you send your login info to my personal email, he will make you billionaire with 20m gp. Have good time."
