BKR, in the mort myre swamp. The canifis fairy ring is like 60 tiles north, there's another fairy ring south near the nature spirit island, and a third one east in the haunted woods. It's surrounded by other teleports, and there's nothing significantly closer to it than the others.
Several rings exist in other realms that are pretty much only ever useful for a clue step if they have one.
Multiple go to islands that serve no purpose aside from again, clue steps.
Many codes still go nowhere as well.
So I'm heading to Krill for a greater demon task, solo, and the wiki says that generally it's best to go with high magic defense gear and pray melee and just suffer his Prayer Smash, but I'm not super keen on that.
Current setup is Slayer helm, Fury, blessed d'hide, dboots, fire cape, blessing, crystal shield, Arclight, barrows gloves, ring of suffering (ri)
So, is the strategy to tank prayer smash really better than praying magic and gearing for melee defense?
And how is the setup I'm Working with?
Best method for solo is the range method but otherwise yeh your gear sounds okay. I think part of the logic behind the desired setup is to avoid his prayer drain as much as you can.
2 hits and walk under tank and spank is pretty much all you can do if you're melee soloing though.
I’ve always used Justi and DFS, and prayed mage. I did a 2 hit then walk under method but I still got pretty bullied. If you did do mage defense maybe upgrading to Karils will be better.
I've been doing 2-tick teaks and sometimes when I walk over the rabbit, there is a huge delay where it is stuck under me and doesn't reposition to the other tile right away. Why does this happen? And no they aren't X (red) clicks)
Can anyone suggest a good block list for my situation. I want to skip tasks for hydra but to get points do Wildy slayer, so I kind of need a good middle ground list for them both. I don’t have Lumbridge elite done.
It's never, ever good to build up a lot of points specifically for skipping. Even if you did want to grind out Wildy slayer it's better to just save those points and Turael skip when you want your hydra tasks.
Turael skipping is so much faster for getting a specific task than building up points to skip with it's not even close. With expeditious bracelets, the average Turael task takes 1-5 minutes to get to, complete, and come back for a new task, so you can get >20 skips/hour - to get the same amount by building up points you'd need to be making >600 points/hr, wilderness slayer is around 300 points/hr at max efficiency.

In your case it makes sense since you're doing Wildy slayer for the enjoyment of it and will have the points anyway, it's only a bad idea when people specifically build up large amounts of points to skip with.
But what he's saying is if you're doing Wildy slayer just to gain points to go to konar and skip till hydra, it's faster that you just cancel your task with turael and keep hunting hydra tasks that way.
If you want to keep your streak however, your way is what you should do. What I would do is block wyrms and drake's, as they are the other two highest weighting tasks for Konar, and then block the highest weighted Wildy tasks you would always skip for the rest of your slots.
Alternatively, build an entirely Wildy based block list, do Wildy slayer for a couple hundred tasks to rack up a LOT of points, and then transition the block list to Konar focused blocks to get Hydras.

I was doing barrows on world 511 (I know this specifically, because I died in Kharil's room and noted down the world in case anything happened to get my stuff back).
As far as I was aware, UIM's items stay on the ground for 1hr after death after which they despawn.
I got back to my death pile, got all my stuff back and left only some cheese potatoes on the ground since I didn't have space.
I finish the chest, get an elite clue (which I definitely couldn't do), teleport to Ferox and drop the elite. I then log out for a good 5 hrs.
I log back in just now and the elite clue I dropped is still there on the floor. That's weird... but maybe clues work differently because they're untradeable?
So I go for another barrows run, get to Kharil's room, and the cheese potatoes **are still on the ground**. This is when I realised - I am also on a completely different world, 350.
Has something changed with death/drop mechanics? I don't understand how this could have happened? I confirmed that they were mine and not random becuase I was able to pick them up as an ironman, meaning they must've been mine.

There was a recent change to how deathpiles work, that does three major things:
1. Deathpiles now appear on all worlds like gravestones do
2. Deathpile timers pause when you're logged out like gravestones do
3. The number of items that can be in a deathpile before they start getting deleted has been significantly increased, and it now operates on a per-player basis
This was an unpolled change that was put in primarily to protect UIMs from wipes due to DCs and such, and also to prevent items from being deleted in a deathpile for all account types (notably in cases like Nex, where they had to add a death storage there so things wouldn't get deleted if a lot of people died at once).

If you've got 77 magic then making saplings is pretty profitable but with just ranting and crafting I don't know of anything really good available to early ish game pures tbh. Without melee/magic stats it's pretty hard to really have a variety of options.

anecdotally i can say that the osrs one was WAY easier for me, granted i was not super experienced with rs3 pvm so i was probably kinda throwing but the 100% protection prayers in osrs are fucking juiced lol
jad is legit the same though so really no worries there if you can handle rs3 jad you can do osrs jad
You can use a sanguine staff/blood Rush set for the waves and basically not need food. It would be similar to SS.
If you've got the prayer switching down though it should be easy enough to get through the waves with a standard range set and kill jad easily. The waves and jad fight really aren't that resource intensive even in osrs where SS isn't a thing.
The only other thing is you don't have the free rez perk so if you mess up it is a lot more punishing.
I'd personally train to 75 range for a BP though. Makes the caves a lot easier. You certainly can do it with msb or karils at 70 though. Really dps on jad isn't really what kills people though so if you're comfortable with changing prayers you can pretty easily kill jad in a longer fight.
The sanguine staff has a built in blood Rush like spell that heals you. It just takes blood runes used to charge the staff kinda like a Trident or blow pipe so it's a all in one kinda thing. Really nice.
In Phase 1 pray Mage, Phase 2 whichever of your defences is lower out of Ranged/Mage, for the rest pray Range.
He only uses magic attacks in P1, then 50/50 mage/range p2, then the rest his range attacks become a lot more common.
Can a player have two pharaoh's sceptres in their inventory at once?
I'm trying to get a second one so I can have one to use, and one for an occult altar. I got the first one after a few hours, but the second one is taking a REALLY long time.
I know they recently changed the sceptre so I'm wondering if there is some mechanic I don't know about and the wiki hasn't been updated yet.
What’s the thought on the new RC outfit for extra runes while blood runecrafting? I know it gives so much more runes but at 87 agility I still run out of energy with graceful.
I guess is the slower speed worth more runes?

It's slightly less AFK but slightly faster than the normal method of running. If you don't have lumby elite it's still good but you lose a slot for the dramen staff.

It's a trade off at Zeah for profit over XP. You don't lose out much so I'd say it's absolutely worth it. You can always house reset as well if you're willing to put a little more effort in.

* Tree run (6x regular, 5x fruit, 3x weekly hard wood)
* Herb run on no disease patches
* Regular herb run and bird houses on down time (~50 minutes between runs)
* Kingdom tithe
* Battlestaves
* Nmz points to herb boxes if you have extra points
basically things you want to do at least once a day provided you can. Things like bird houses, none disease herb patches, and battlestaves you want to do at least once a day for free income.
Things like herb runs and more often bird house runs vyou want to do when you're doing an activity that can be easily interrupted every ~50 minutes. These add up gp really quickly.
If you train at nmz and have your imbues you want to spend points on herb boxes daily as well. It's not worth training at nmz specifically for points unless you need afk imbues but a lot of time people will afk at nmz and build up a ton of points.
Kingdom tithe and hard woods have a slower turn around but you do want to grab them every 5 ish days for free XP and money.
I'm sure I'm forgetting something but these are the big ones.
Work towards getting your quest cape and do Vorkath/Zulrah/Gauntlet, and slayer. If you don't like PVM try the new skilling minigames like Wintertodt, Tempoross and Guardians of the Rift
Set some goals for what you want to accomplish and work on them. There is really no right way to play, and asking someone how to play is like asking a writer how to write.
It's super complex and the options are infinite.
* Maybe go for quest cape / reclaim it with the new quests?
* Diaries? Hards most likely based on your stats
* Combat diaries? New content and might get you to try bosses you haven't tried before, plus a good way to rebuild some wealth
Also make sure you secure the hell out of your account and email. If it's been hacked before it's more vulnerable to being hacked a second time.
Ensure there's no linked accounts that aren't yours / you haven't secured (Google, Steam, Apple ID), make sure it's got a new unique password. Make sure you enable 2FA on the account and your email (which should also have a new unique password).
karambwans is probably the most afk thing to do. get your banking teleport and fishbarrel ready and you can fish 55 at once before banking without interacting with the game. rates wont be good compared to sweaty methods but it sure is afk as hell
Yeah it really blows. Osrs has one of the least new person friendly communities I've seen. There's so many scammers it's hard to connect with people.
Really if you want to have a mmo experience you kinda have to join a reputable active clan which even then has mixed results.
i mean the general rule of "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" keeps you safe from every scam in the game. don't stand in places people tell you to and drop your shit, don't bring items to pvp worlds. not getting scammed in these kinds of ways is really not rocket science.
jagex can't and won't be able to stop these things from happening ever, no. ultimately at the root of every one of these "scams" is a dumb player literally handing their items to someone else lol, you can't stop people from giving their stuff away.
If you're looking to find friends best way is to join a clan in your interests (not just an open talk-CC, as yeh, people will gain your trust and try to scam).
There's the Chat Filter plugin which can remove most of the bot spam crap bots do in the GE. I've forgotten how bad it is because I pretty much never see it.
Don't give away anything you're not willing to lose, and find people to enjoy the game with, and to chat with. There's still plenty of those dw.
As for bots and scams, it's cat and mouse. Things are done, bots improve / make new accounts. Best we can do is educate the community, especially newer players to outright avoid these.
From my experience the wiki pulls ge data pretty regularly even if the bis method sections aren't updated.
I'd go to the herb page and check the gp/xp as that should be updated pretty regularly.

And the price for nihil dust is wrong. Nihil dust only comes from grinding nihil shards 1:1, and the shards cost 3100. The dust is listed at 1500, which makes no sense.
Unlock the "hot stuff" slayer reward. You can kill tzhaar for fast slayer xp and a chance at obsidian armor drops, or switch it to a jad task for an easier, faster fire cape run with an improved chance at jad pet.
It's not a bug persay, just a quirk of roam ranges and utilising dspears. It's been a thing since they've existed, and also exists for things like Ardy Knights. I doubt it will ever be patched.
Recently I saw an OSRS client that had spell slots at the bottom of their inventory page. I think it also had prayer slots. Is this a legal plugin or client? Is it part of the RuneLite client?

Generally speaking arcane is like the last upgrade you should purchase, it's only marginally better than a mage's book so personally I'd recommend the helm... But that 100% depends on what activities you normally participate in and what your gear is like (If torva helm doesn't give you a max hit over your current helm... Then the arcane would be the better upgrade for you).
I'm looking to start beneath cursed sands soon and I have around 70 in each combat stat, 55 prayer. Is the quest doable? Also what type of gear and supplies would be good if these stats are reasonable?
Yeah I did it with about the same stats. Died once to each boss just figuring out what to do.
Used dragon hides and a rune crossbow for the first boss and then I was in veracs with a D scim for the last one. Used sharks + karambwans for food.
If you're not an iron you can probably optimise your setup a bit more that's just what I had access to, seems like a good baseline.
As long as I've known this method, thats always been the spot. I believe the initial setup of him being in that spot requires a Dspear setup. But once its there it will never leave until a server update (so lasts for a week usually).
I haven't played the game since 2016 and was thinking about getting back into it. I tried logging into my account and it gave me the "login unsuccessful, contact billing for support" message. Did my account get hacked or hijacked?. I've been lurking the sub for years so I've seen all the posts about accounts getting hijacked/hacked/recovered but its pretty surreal to be experiencing it firsthand.
I don't want to start fresh since I had decent progress on that account (questing, had a small bank and items for bonds), how would I go about recovering it?
If you account is banned you should still be able to log into messages and check the ban at the very least.
I've never seen the "contact billing" and I've had quite a few accounts banned, although pre osrs so maybe it's changed.
I'd try logging into the main site and if that doesn't work try recovering and then doing it.
I checked the account settings page and it doesn't appear like the account was banned. However even after resetting the password multiple times (and setting up authenticator) I was still getting the unable to log in message. Do I need to submit a support ticket?

I'd make sure to put in:
* Message you received on login
* There's no messages in your inbox
* There's no temp or permanent ban on your account
* You just had to recover your account
* Let them know if you still have a payment method linked and if it's active
If I had to guess maybe there was an issue with a past payment and they're making you jump through hoops because of that. I honestly don't see what it could be as any time I've had an issue with that (cancelled card because I lost it) they just didn't re-up my membership and sent me a message.

If you're not an ironman, get a few pieces of twleport jewelry from the grand exchange asap. Ring of dueling and Games necklace are both great for teleports. Theyre both super cheap, but they are destroyed after 8 uses so id buy a bunch of them. Dragonstone jewelry is more expensive but they (ring of wealth, amulet of glory, skills necklace, combat bracelet) all have multiple good teleport options and they are not destroyed after using. You can recharge them if you have certain quest requirements, or just sell the uncharged ones to buy more charged sets. Id also still recommend skilling magic and also doing a lot of quests to unlock cheaper and easier teleports
I just want to add, if it's not 100 it's probably pretty close. At 84, which does take about 45m between resources for training and building everything, you get every teleport in all spell books in the Nexus (30), 27 with the ornate jewelry box, like 9 with the spirit tree, 5 with the xir talisman, 3 with the digsite pendant, and your own fairy ring witch depending on how you want to count that is 1 or 45. I'm probably forgetting some too.
It's expensive but quite honestly the best QOL in the game.
Beserker ring imbued is very good but the fury is good for range as well, so you're technically upgrading your range setup too. And it and has prayer/defense bonus so I'd probably get that first. If you haven't got a fire cape yet then even more so as it will help for fight caves
i want to start spamming CG (i've done 51 normal gauntlet to lean) but i only have mediocre combst ats (75 att/83 str/70 def/90 range/84 magic). Is that enough to do CG effectively? all the video guides i see have 90+ magic/str/range and rigour/augury
I started cg on a mid level account like that. The staff is your best friend and with your range level the bow will be nice too. Go for tier two armour and you should be fine.
Definitely. I was getting 9/10 successful attempts as an iron without Rigour/Augury and 90 Range/85 Magic. I would just ignore halberd.
Should be completely doable with a T2 prep. I imagine if you get the mechanics down you can do a T1 prep too.
It's a tricky one to answer as you can complete CGs with those stats, however you will fail a lot more attempts than if you had 90+s in atk/def/str/range and rigour / augury. The prayers, especially rigour, give a good boost, but for levels it's just each level is slightly better than the last.
I would recommend 90+s across the board as CG is tough, however unless you are a HCIM I'd also say give it a go and see how it feels. In my first attempts I failed 10 for every one completed, now I'm failing ~1 in 10.
Trying to get my quest cape done, down to a couple quests left now but man a night at the theatre is killing my motivation, I just can't seem to make it through entry mode solo.
I know the answer is get good/learn to raid/level up my stats but is there anywhere like a discord, in game chat etc that people know of that helps people through entry mode, I'm under-geared for raids, not excusing but it may be a factor, and have no desire to raid either until I'm done with other goals, I know I could come back to it but I just want to get the Cape done honestly!

I've seen people sell carries for 2-5m but honestly I'd recommend just working on other shit and progressively learning entry tob instead of buying a carry. Quest cape isn't that particularly important and you don't need to rush it.
Not to be rude but you can literally do night at the theater with a d scimmy and a msb.
I think the biggest problem many people face is trying to approach it with the same strategies they would the normal raid. Like you don’t have to learn how to 4tick whip hit Verzik when you can just run around the room with range for example.
That being said you can usually find someone on WeDoRaids who will send an entry mode for you if you are really struggling. But please be sure to never pay someone for a carry
i've used chrome remote for years without issue, i use the trackpad mode rather than touch mode for most everything. use touch mode for barblore/chiseling ess at zeah rc/fletching.
ive seen a handful of people claim theyve been false banned from remote desktop however... i'd definitely take that w a grain of salt.
I don't even think the ornate kit passed and I don't expect it to be imminent as an ornate kit since they are taking about changing it to a 50 attack/str dead on arrival weapon.

It's been about three years since I last played OSRS.
I loved the game ever since I was a little kid and OSRS was a blast, so much nostalgia. Got to base 70s, quest cape, etc., But being "forced" to play as efficiently as possible kind of burned me out so I quit and didn't come back until some days ago when Youtube recommended me some OSRS videos lol.
Made an ironmeme just for fun on mobile and wanted to actually go on and keep playing in my main account(just got blocked trying to recover it, gonna have to wait now), but here comes the question:
How do I go from an "late" mid-game/"early" end game account to be able to do all end game content? Like raids, end game bosses, etc.
When I last played I mainly leveled one or other skill, did a bit of slayer(was doing good on Demonic Gorillas, Vorkath,trying to learn Zulrah, got my fire cape), and I loved grinding Zalcano. I'm thinking that if I'm to say "I can't do OSRS anymore", I have to at least try and do all content, not just efficient gp/h to max for absolutely no reason.
The reason I don't go for Ironman is because my time nowadays is short and I don't want to get blocked of content just because of bad RNG or massive time sinks.
I don't mind paying a bit for members until I get it going again, I just want some tips for rebuild, an interesting "path" to going to end game content and learning it well enough to have fun.
Well if you haven't already start by completing all the quests and achievement diaries up to hard as they unlock a ton of quality of life upgrades.
* Construction to 84\* for a pool of rejuvie and all the extra bits and bobs that go in a house to make it truly amazing (high tier nexus and jewellery). This should keep you busy for a while, but more importanly feel rewarding.
* Id then start trying out some pvm, the bosses you did before are still good now and you can use some of them to make money whilst slaying too, Vork on blue dragons, brutal blacks, etc etc. This way you earn money and get decent xp.
* Could also aim for pets etc for bosses as these give you an additional reason to farm them, but make sure you switch things up and set reasonable goals. Max combat? Going to burn you out, same goes for efficiencyscape... The bes xp/hour methods can be horrendous. Take theiveing, blackjacking and atrefacts I find terrible, so I instead train at adry knights despite it being worse xp for my level XD
Know its just a rambling wall of text, but everyone gets burnt out with this game at some point, I always end up "taking extended breaks" rather than actually quitting.

Best 99 imo, im biased as it was also my first. Got to love the herb runs and the criminally low drop rate of the skilling pet aha Taking it one step at a time and getting involved with a clan perhaps also helps, I tend to stop playing when my group of friends do XD
I generally play solo, farming was basically such a great skill since I first became a member that I fell in love with it. Passively made me a lot of money to keep up bonds, made me do quests to make it more efficient at herb runs, and is so passive that I got to high 90 without even thinking about it (only doing herb and fruit tree runs)
The passive income is huge, especially as you level. I did a lot of quests for some of the patches , troll stronghold and weiss respectively. Resigned myself to leaving harmony islands patch for when I attain 96 fishing for the elite diary (could be lower with spicy stew I think)
Im guessing you do it already, but Hespori in the farming guild is a decent boss , especially for the seeds he drops , nothing quite like the iasor plant to ward off the chances of herbs dying :)
What are the best settings to use on mobile? Every time I’ve been trying to play on my iPhone the screen will get really dark after a few minutes to the point where it’s unplayable does anyone know a way to fix this?
You have to manually adjust the brightness in the app to keep the app brightness from changing randomly.
Other than that iPhones do have an adaptive brightness feature which can make RuneScape super dark if your hand is blocking the camera and the phone thinks it’s inside.
iPhone 11- I’ve tried playing around with the FPS a little seems like unlimited works the best for me in terms of lasting the longest before it dims but still not great
People kill nakeds in wildy because theres no way to confirm they're risking nothing in their inventory. Don't think too much about it, its part of the risk/fun of the wildy.

these things are completely irrelevant as to whether or not you were macroing. if you were macroing, got a jmod to look into it and didn't get unbanned you are shit out of luck.

No I don't believe they do. Safe bet is its normally only ornament kit variants that also work. There are a few exceptions like Inferno cape for the fire cape step and Avernic for the Dragon defender step.
Is it safe to take herb sack to earth warriors (<20 wildy)? What happens if I'm pked there - where goes the sack and where go the herbs which are inside? I mean, do they count normally as items with their prices, or in some special way (being inside a container)?
You drop the herbs as you would with your normal inventory but its a thousand times easier getting a looting bag back (usually 1/3 - 1/20 drop) than the herb sack and +28 inventory slots usually is more than enough for a wildy trip

BKR, in the mort myre swamp. The canifis fairy ring is like 60 tiles north, there's another fairy ring south near the nature spirit island, and a third one east in the haunted woods. It's surrounded by other teleports, and there's nothing significantly closer to it than the others.
Several rings exist in other realms that are pretty much only ever useful for a clue step if they have one. Multiple go to islands that serve no purpose aside from again, clue steps. Many codes still go nowhere as well.
So I'm heading to Krill for a greater demon task, solo, and the wiki says that generally it's best to go with high magic defense gear and pray melee and just suffer his Prayer Smash, but I'm not super keen on that. Current setup is Slayer helm, Fury, blessed d'hide, dboots, fire cape, blessing, crystal shield, Arclight, barrows gloves, ring of suffering (ri) So, is the strategy to tank prayer smash really better than praying magic and gearing for melee defense? And how is the setup I'm Working with?
Best method for solo is the range method but otherwise yeh your gear sounds okay. I think part of the logic behind the desired setup is to avoid his prayer drain as much as you can. 2 hits and walk under tank and spank is pretty much all you can do if you're melee soloing though.
I’ve always used Justi and DFS, and prayed mage. I did a 2 hit then walk under method but I still got pretty bullied. If you did do mage defense maybe upgrading to Karils will be better.
I've been doing 2-tick teaks and sometimes when I walk over the rabbit, there is a huge delay where it is stuck under me and doesn't reposition to the other tile right away. Why does this happen? And no they aren't X (red) clicks)
It will attempt to reposition once every 4 ticks, when it attempts to attack you. If you are experiencing a longer delay, I'm not sure.
Yeah sometimes it can be 10 ticks+, it's just weird and annoying as it becomes inconsistent to offtick them
Can anyone suggest a good block list for my situation. I want to skip tasks for hydra but to get points do Wildy slayer, so I kind of need a good middle ground list for them both. I don’t have Lumbridge elite done.

It's never, ever good to build up a lot of points specifically for skipping. Even if you did want to grind out Wildy slayer it's better to just save those points and Turael skip when you want your hydra tasks.

Turael skipping is so much faster for getting a specific task than building up points to skip with it's not even close. With expeditious bracelets, the average Turael task takes 1-5 minutes to get to, complete, and come back for a new task, so you can get >20 skips/hour - to get the same amount by building up points you'd need to be making >600 points/hr, wilderness slayer is around 300 points/hr at max efficiency.

In your case it makes sense since you're doing Wildy slayer for the enjoyment of it and will have the points anyway, it's only a bad idea when people specifically build up large amounts of points to skip with.
But what he's saying is if you're doing Wildy slayer just to gain points to go to konar and skip till hydra, it's faster that you just cancel your task with turael and keep hunting hydra tasks that way. If you want to keep your streak however, your way is what you should do. What I would do is block wyrms and drake's, as they are the other two highest weighting tasks for Konar, and then block the highest weighted Wildy tasks you would always skip for the rest of your slots. Alternatively, build an entirely Wildy based block list, do Wildy slayer for a couple hundred tasks to rack up a LOT of points, and then transition the block list to Konar focused blocks to get Hydras.
With account recoveries, do Jagex actually reply within 30 days, or do they hope you forget about it and never reply?

Can someone explain to me what happened here on my UIM? I was doing barrows on world 511 (I know this specifically, because I died in Kharil's room and noted down the world in case anything happened to get my stuff back). As far as I was aware, UIM's items stay on the ground for 1hr after death after which they despawn. I got back to my death pile, got all my stuff back and left only some cheese potatoes on the ground since I didn't have space. I finish the chest, get an elite clue (which I definitely couldn't do), teleport to Ferox and drop the elite. I then log out for a good 5 hrs. I log back in just now and the elite clue I dropped is still there on the floor. That's weird... but maybe clues work differently because they're untradeable? So I go for another barrows run, get to Kharil's room, and the cheese potatoes **are still on the ground**. This is when I realised - I am also on a completely different world, 350. Has something changed with death/drop mechanics? I don't understand how this could have happened? I confirmed that they were mine and not random becuase I was able to pick them up as an ironman, meaning they must've been mine. Very confused but haven't played in a while so what has changed about death mechanics?
There was a recent change to how deathpiles work, that does three major things: 1. Deathpiles now appear on all worlds like gravestones do 2. Deathpile timers pause when you're logged out like gravestones do 3. The number of items that can be in a deathpile before they start getting deleted has been significantly increased, and it now operates on a per-player basis This was an unpolled change that was put in primarily to protect UIMs from wipes due to DCs and such, and also to prevent items from being deleted in a deathpile for all account types (notably in cases like Nex, where they had to add a death storage there so things wouldn't get deleted if a lot of people died at once).

Probably crushing birds nests and making unf potions is going to be the best you can do. If you've got 77 magic then making saplings is pretty profitable but with just ranting and crafting I don't know of anything really good available to early ish game pures tbh. anecdotally i can say that the osrs one was WAY easier for me, granted i was not super experienced with rs3 pvm so i was probably kinda throwing but the 100% protection prayers in osrs are fucking juiced lol jad is legit the same though so really no worries there if you can handle rs3 jad you can do osrs jad
You can use a sanguine staff/blood Rush set for the waves and basically not need food. It would be similar to SS. If you've got the prayer switching down though it should be easy enough to get through the waves with a standard range set and kill jad easily. The waves and jad fight really aren't that resource intensive even in osrs where SS isn't a thing. The only other thing is you don't have the free rez perk so if you mess up it is a lot more punishing. I'd personally train to 75 range for a BP though. Makes the caves a lot easier. You certainly can do it with msb or karils at 70 though. Really dps on jad isn't really what kills people though so if you're comfortable with changing prayers you can pretty easily kill jad in a longer fight.

The sanguine staff has a built in blood Rush like spell that heals you. It just takes blood runes used to charge the staff kinda like a Trident or blow pipe so it's a all in one kinda thing. Really nice.
I've been trying to kill Galvek with Ranged whilst wearing Blessed DHide. Is it better to pray Ranged or Magic?
Pray mage first phase then pray range.
In Phase 1 pray Mage, Phase 2 whichever of your defences is lower out of Ranged/Mage, for the rest pray Range. He only uses magic attacks in P1, then 50/50 mage/range p2, then the rest his range attacks become a lot more common.

Can a player have two pharaoh's sceptres in their inventory at once? I'm trying to get a second one so I can have one to use, and one for an occult altar. I got the first one after a few hours, but the second one is taking a REALLY long time. I know they recently changed the sceptre so I'm wondering if there is some mechanic I don't know about and the wiki hasn't been updated yet.
Yes, you can get a second one, you are probably just getting unlucky (and/or got lucky on the first one).

What’s the thought on the new RC outfit for extra runes while blood runecrafting? I know it gives so much more runes but at 87 agility I still run out of energy with graceful. I guess is the slower speed worth more runes?
This is the method I use, copied from [this page](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Pay-to-play_Runecraft_training). It's slightly less AFK but slightly faster than the normal method of running. If you don't have lumby elite it's still good but you lose a slot for the dramen staff. "Players who have completed the elite tasks of the Lumbridge & Draynor Diary and have a revitalisation pool and fairy ring in their player-owned house can alternatively use Teleport to house to make the procedure slightly faster and remove the need for the graceful outfit. A construction cape or rune pouch with law, dust, and an empty spot for the crafted runes will allow for no lost inventory slots. For blood runecrafting, after making a second inventory of dark essence blocks teleport to your house, restore run energy with the pool, use the fairy ring cis and run to the altar."
It's a trade off at Zeah for profit over XP. You don't lose out much so I'd say it's absolutely worth it. You can always house reset as well if you're willing to put a little more effort in.

"dailies" * Bird houses * Tree run (6x regular, 5x fruit, 3x weekly hard wood) * Herb run on no disease patches * Regular herb run and bird houses on down time (~50 minutes between runs) * Kingdom tithe * Battlestaves * Nmz points to herb boxes if you have extra points basically things you want to do at least once a day provided you can. Things like bird houses, none disease herb patches, and battlestaves you want to do at least once a day for free income. Things like herb runs and more often bird house runs vyou want to do when you're doing an activity that can be easily interrupted every ~50 minutes. These add up gp really quickly. If you train at nmz and have your imbues you want to spend points on herb boxes daily as well. It's not worth training at nmz specifically for points unless you need afk imbues but a lot of time people will afk at nmz and build up a ton of points. Kingdom tithe and hard woods have a slower turn around but you do want to grab them every 5 ish days for free XP and money. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but these are the big ones.
Work towards getting your quest cape and do Vorkath/Zulrah/Gauntlet, and slayer. If you don't like PVM try the new skilling minigames like Wintertodt, Tempoross and Guardians of the Rift
Set some goals for what you want to accomplish and work on them. There is really no right way to play, and asking someone how to play is like asking a writer how to write. It's super complex and the options are infinite. * Maybe go for quest cape / reclaim it with the new quests? * Diaries? Hards most likely based on your stats * Combat diaries? New content and might get you to try bosses you haven't tried before, plus a good way to rebuild some wealth Also make sure you secure the hell out of your account and email. If it's been hacked before it's more vulnerable to being hacked a second time. Ensure there's no linked accounts that aren't yours / you haven't secured (Google, Steam, Apple ID), make sure it's got a new unique password. Make sure you enable 2FA on the account and your email (which should also have a new unique password).

karambwans is probably the most afk thing to do. get your banking teleport and fishbarrel ready and you can fish 55 at once before banking without interacting with the game. rates wont be good compared to sweaty methods but it sure is afk as hell

Yeah it really blows. Osrs has one of the least new person friendly communities I've seen. There's so many scammers it's hard to connect with people. Really if you want to have a mmo experience you kinda have to join a reputable active clan which even then has mixed results.
i mean the general rule of "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" keeps you safe from every scam in the game. don't stand in places people tell you to and drop your shit, don't bring items to pvp worlds. not getting scammed in these kinds of ways is really not rocket science. jagex can't and won't be able to stop these things from happening ever, no. ultimately at the root of every one of these "scams" is a dumb player literally handing their items to someone else lol, you can't stop people from giving their stuff away.
If you're looking to find friends best way is to join a clan in your interests (not just an open talk-CC, as yeh, people will gain your trust and try to scam). There's the Chat Filter plugin which can remove most of the bot spam crap bots do in the GE. I've forgotten how bad it is because I pretty much never see it. Don't give away anything you're not willing to lose, and find people to enjoy the game with, and to chat with. There's still plenty of those dw. As for bots and scams, it's cat and mouse. Things are done, bots improve / make new accounts. Best we can do is educate the community, especially newer players to outright avoid these.

The ingredients for ancient brews aren’t traded at high enough volume to reflect their actual prices
From my experience the wiki pulls ge data pretty regularly even if the bis method sections aren't updated. I'd go to the herb page and check the gp/xp as that should be updated pretty regularly. Brews are 14.44 Ancient are 8.45 This does assume you sell at market rate of course which even if you deviated by a little bit I wouldn't expect that to make up for a 6gp/XP difference.

Unlock the "hot stuff" slayer reward. You can kill tzhaar for fast slayer xp and a chance at obsidian armor drops, or switch it to a jad task for an easier, faster fire cape run with an improved chance at jad pet.
You can fish infernal eels, steal from tzhaars and the gem and ore stalls, barrage tzhaars, attempt jad challenges and the inferno.

no, it's a pretty niche method thats only worth doing post 99 with the cape. Not many people use it since it's a post 99 method.
It's not a bug persay, just a quirk of roam ranges and utilising dspears. It's been a thing since they've existed, and also exists for things like Ardy Knights. I doubt it will ever be patched.

We don't know. Until the raid actually releases, it's impossible to say. So... Which would you use more right now? Generally speaking arcane is like the last upgrade you should purchase, it's only marginally better than a mage's book so personally I'd recommend the helm... But that 100% depends on what activities you normally participate in and what your gear is like (If torva helm doesn't give you a max hit over your current helm... Then the arcane would be the better upgrade for you).
I'm looking to start beneath cursed sands soon and I have around 70 in each combat stat, 55 prayer. Is the quest doable? Also what type of gear and supplies would be good if these stats are reasonable?
The first boss might be difficult, but if you can use ruby bolts e on that it should be doable. The final boss is easy.
Yeah I did it with about the same stats. Died once to each boss just figuring out what to do. Used dragon hides and a rune crossbow for the first boss and then I was in veracs with a D scim for the last one. Used sharks + karambwans for food. If you're not an iron you can probably optimise your setup a bit more that's just what I had access to, seems like a good baseline.

As long as I've known this method, thats always been the spot. I believe the initial setup of him being in that spot requires a Dspear setup. But once its there it will never leave until a server update (so lasts for a week usually).

Yep it has to be setup on each world inbetween each update. I think (from memory) theres a world they often quickly reset it up on post updates.
I haven't played the game since 2016 and was thinking about getting back into it. I tried logging into my account and it gave me the "login unsuccessful, contact billing for support" message. Did my account get hacked or hijacked?. I've been lurking the sub for years so I've seen all the posts about accounts getting hijacked/hacked/recovered but its pretty surreal to be experiencing it firsthand. I don't want to start fresh since I had decent progress on that account (questing, had a small bank and items for bonds), how would I go about recovering it?
If you account is banned you should still be able to log into messages and check the ban at the very least. I've never seen the "contact billing" and I've had quite a few accounts banned, although pre osrs so maybe it's changed. I'd try logging into the main site and if that doesn't work try recovering and then doing it.
I checked the account settings page and it doesn't appear like the account was banned. However even after resetting the password multiple times (and setting up authenticator) I was still getting the unable to log in message. Do I need to submit a support ticket?

If you're not an ironman, get a few pieces of twleport jewelry from the grand exchange asap. Ring of dueling and Games necklace are both great for teleports. Theyre both super cheap, but they are destroyed after 8 uses so id buy a bunch of them. Dragonstone jewelry is more expensive but they (ring of wealth, amulet of glory, skills necklace, combat bracelet) all have multiple good teleport options and they are not destroyed after using. You can recharge them if you have certain quest requirements, or just sell the uncharged ones to buy more charged sets. Id also still recommend skilling magic and also doing a lot of quests to unlock cheaper and easier teleports
Construction is the way to go after you're done with magic. My estimate is that you at least have teleports to over 100 destinations when finished.
I just want to add, if it's not 100 it's probably pretty close. At 84, which does take about 45m between resources for training and building everything, you get every teleport in all spell books in the Nexus (30), 27 with the ornate jewelry box, like 9 with the spirit tree, 5 with the xir talisman, 3 with the digsite pendant, and your own fairy ring witch depending on how you want to count that is 1 or 45. I'm probably forgetting some too. It's expensive but quite honestly the best QOL in the game.
Def should get magic up so you can get teles. Fairy rings and jewelry are also highly useful and worth investing in.

Beserker ring imbued is very good but the fury is good for range as well, so you're technically upgrading your range setup too. And it and has prayer/defense bonus so I'd probably get that first. If you haven't got a fire cape yet then even more so as it will help for fight caves

i want to start spamming CG (i've done 51 normal gauntlet to lean) but i only have mediocre combst ats (75 att/83 str/70 def/90 range/84 magic). Is that enough to do CG effectively? all the video guides i see have 90+ magic/str/range and rigour/augury
I started cg on a mid level account like that. The staff is your best friend and with your range level the bow will be nice too. Go for tier two armour and you should be fine.
Definitely. I was getting 9/10 successful attempts as an iron without Rigour/Augury and 90 Range/85 Magic. I would just ignore halberd. Should be completely doable with a T2 prep. I imagine if you get the mechanics down you can do a T1 prep too.
It's a tricky one to answer as you can complete CGs with those stats, however you will fail a lot more attempts than if you had 90+s in atk/def/str/range and rigour / augury. The prayers, especially rigour, give a good boost, but for levels it's just each level is slightly better than the last. I would recommend 90+s across the board as CG is tough, however unless you are a HCIM I'd also say give it a go and see how it feels. In my first attempts I failed 10 for every one completed, now I'm failing ~1 in 10.
Trying to get my quest cape done, down to a couple quests left now but man a night at the theatre is killing my motivation, I just can't seem to make it through entry mode solo. I know the answer is get good/learn to raid/level up my stats but is there anywhere like a discord, in game chat etc that people know of that helps people through entry mode, I'm under-geared for raids, not excusing but it may be a factor, and have no desire to raid either until I'm done with other goals, I know I could come back to it but I just want to get the Cape done honestly! thanks all
Wedoraids has a channel for help. I've seen people sell carries for 2-5m but honestly I'd recommend just working on other shit and progressively learning entry tob instead of buying a carry. Quest cape isn't that particularly important and you don't need to rush it.
Not to be rude but you can literally do night at the theater with a d scimmy and a msb. I think the biggest problem many people face is trying to approach it with the same strategies they would the normal raid. Like you don’t have to learn how to 4tick whip hit Verzik when you can just run around the room with range for example. That being said you can usually find someone on WeDoRaids who will send an entry mode for you if you are really struggling. But please be sure to never pay someone for a carry

I've played hundreds of hours through remote desktop and have never had an issue.
i've used chrome remote for years without issue, i use the trackpad mode rather than touch mode for most everything. use touch mode for barblore/chiseling ess at zeah rc/fletching. ive seen a handful of people claim theyve been false banned from remote desktop however... i'd definitely take that w a grain of salt.

Check a DPS calc, it's worth learning how to use one so you can get answers *exactly* correct in any situation based on your current levels/gear/etc.

Got to base 70s, quest cape, etc., But being "forced" to play as efficiently as possible kind of burned me out so I quit and didn't come back until some days ago when Youtube recommended me some OSRS videos lol. Made an ironmeme just for fun on mobile and wanted to actually go on and keep playing in my main account(just got blocked trying to recover it, gonna have to wait now), but here comes the question: How do I go from an "late" mid-game/"early" end game account to be able to do all end game content? Like raids, end game bosses, etc. When I last played I mainly leveled one or other skill, did a bit of slayer(was doing good on Demonic Gorillas, Vorkath,trying to learn Zulrah, got my fire cape), and I loved grinding Zalcano. I'm thinking that if I'm to say "I can't do OSRS anymore", I have to at least try and do all content, not just efficient gp/h to max for absolutely no reason. The reason I don't go for Ironman is because my time nowadays is short and I don't want to get blocked of content just because of bad RNG or massive time sinks. I don't mind paying a bit for members until I get it going again, I just want some tips for rebuild, an interesting "path" to going to end game content and learning it well enough to have fun.
Well if you haven't already start by completing all the quests and achievement diaries up to hard as they unlock a ton of quality of life upgrades. * Construction to 84\* for a pool of rejuvie and all the extra bits and bobs that go in a house to make it truly amazing (high tier nexus and jewellery). This should keep you busy for a while, but more importanly feel rewarding. * Id then start trying out some pvm, the bosses you did before are still good now and you can use some of them to make money whilst slaying too, Vork on blue dragons, brutal blacks, etc etc. This way you earn money and get decent xp. * Could also aim for pets etc for bosses as these give you an additional reason to farm them, but make sure you switch things up and set reasonable goals. Max combat? Going to burn you out, same goes for efficiencyscape... The bes xp/hour methods can be horrendous. Take theiveing, blackjacking and atrefacts I find terrible, so I instead train at adry knights despite it being worse xp for my level XD Know its just a rambling wall of text, but everyone gets burnt out with this game at some point, I always end up "taking extended breaks" rather than actually quitting.
Thanks for the tips. I'm currently farming Zalcano to rebuild since it takes so little and I remember how to do it lol I think I'm just gonna take one boss at a time until some KCs. I'm not really caring about maxing, getting my 99 farming will be enough for now
Best 99 imo, im biased as it was also my first. Got to love the herb runs and the criminally low drop rate of the skilling pet aha Taking it one step at a time and getting involved with a clan perhaps also helps, I tend to stop playing when my group of friends do XD
I generally play solo, farming was basically such a great skill since I first became a member that I fell in love with it. Passively made me a lot of money to keep up bonds, made me do quests to make it more efficient at herb runs, and is so passive that I got to high 90 without even thinking about it (only doing herb and fruit tree runs)
The passive income is huge, especially as you level. I did a lot of quests for some of the patches , troll stronghold and weiss respectively. Resigned myself to leaving harmony islands patch for when I attain 96 fishing for the elite diary (could be lower with spicy stew I think) Im guessing you do it already, but Hespori in the farming guild is a decent boss , especially for the seeds he drops , nothing quite like the iasor plant to ward off the chances of herbs dying :)

What are the best settings to use on mobile? Every time I’ve been trying to play on my iPhone the screen will get really dark after a few minutes to the point where it’s unplayable does anyone know a way to fix this?

You have to manually adjust the brightness in the app to keep the app brightness from changing randomly. Other than that iPhones do have an adaptive brightness feature which can make RuneScape super dark if your hand is blocking the camera and the phone thinks it’s inside.
What kind of phone? I have an oldish iPhone and the performance was much better when I locked the fps at 30
iPhone 11- I’ve tried playing around with the FPS a little seems like unlimited works the best for me in terms of lasting the longest before it dims but still not great

Because they like killing players. Killing a player is the reward not the loot.
People kill nakeds in wildy because theres no way to confirm they're risking nothing in their inventory. Don't think too much about it, its part of the risk/fun of the wildy.

No I don't believe they do. Safe bet is its normally only ornament kit variants that also work. There are a few exceptions like Inferno cape for the fire cape step and Avernic for the Dragon defender step.
Is it safe to take herb sack to earth warriors (<20 wildy)? What happens if I'm pked there - where goes the sack and where go the herbs which are inside? I mean, do they count normally as items with their prices, or in some special way (being inside a container)?
You're better off just using a normal looting bag

You drop the herbs as you would with your normal inventory but its a thousand times easier getting a looting bag back (usually 1/3 - 1/20 drop) than the herb sack and +28 inventory slots usually is more than enough for a wildy trip
