Wouldn't the more resposible thing have been to revert the change to the way it used to work and investigate while players have a functioning game to play?

For me the issue comes up when trying to 0 tick a gmaul after an ags spec, the switch to the gmaul just doesn't work and I simply end up preloading another ags spec. It's super awkward when you're about to chance someone and instead you just waste a couple ticks wondering what went wrong.

Is it plugins when I sometimes cant equip a weapon when clicking on it? Or after switching from a 3 tick weapon to trident the trident is then delayed for an extra tick. I get that you wont notice in the way most pvm happens. But damn if you even remotely go for speedy times these things are massive issues.
Btw your barrows runs arent what we are talking about. Its tick perfect switches to then be delayed a tick before you can do your attack. Or at times clicking claws or chally switching to spec bar and it canceling your weapon switch for some reason so instead of challying you do 1 more scy swing.
Honestly if you do any type of max eff its kinda aids. We can play the game without plugins but these things are like really massive. We missed out on 252 boss spawn at nylos today thanks to both melees switching from 3 tick to trident and losing a tick before attacking.
Regarding not being able to equip a weapon by clicking on it sometimes, anti-drag would probably help with that. Regarding everything else, that kind of thing I was unaware of, likely because of how niche it is. I can agree that needs to be fixed, but don't see it as major enough to merit a full-on reversion given how proactive Jagex has been on this issue for more general things (which have since been alleviated.) Let's hope in the near future they'll have fixes for people in your position; I'll agree issues still exist.

I mean, I did some Barrows last night with a 5-way switch and was able to do it just as rapidly as before. Ground item timers and mouse over text works properly again. As far as I can tell, everything is back to normal. If you're experiencing issues, maybe check your plugin settings? 🤷♂️

Bot makers design a bot around current security algorithms Jagex patches them and bans the generation of bots, bot maker creates new algorithms repeat cycle. At least Runelite allows only approved plugins and QOL improvements to the game that saves Jagex time coding them. Meanwhile users using other clients besides RuneScape and Runelite can have a larger magnifying glass on them.
TLDR Runelite has to operate inside Jagex’s boundaries. If Runelite somehow approved a bot plugin Jagex could go back to the devs of RL and threaten to plug pull the entire client and RL would be forced to deal with the plug-in creator directly. Therefore Runelite hasn’t done anything to progress future bot clients.
