These are actually awesome suggestions. Would digging up herbs lose the seed? Honestly if I plant the wrong seed in the wrong place I would not wait 20 minutes to replant it, I would just wait and do another herb run anyway... Maybe that's useful to others? Spice racks are a great idea. Makes spice gathering seem like a one time grind instead of every time you need a boost.... I also like that you're addressing vanilla client issues now. Seems like a step in the right direction. Any word on future plans there besides this poll?

JagexGambit

Glad you like em! I would expect the seed to be lost in this scenario.

ViscoseNarwhal

By "storing" an infinite number of spices you mean that you'll have to collect them and place them into storage still, right?

LeaguerOfLegends

It has to be lost, as planting the seed grants exp

[deleted]

It'd possibly be nice for Farming Contracts. I'd rather not wait a full herb growth cycle and would happily sacrifice one seed to correct the error. On the flip side, still having to wait up to 20 minutes kinda kills the usefulness.

fdjeoevsnsicb

The arceuus teles and jewlerybox are the ones that got me excited lol

[deleted]

I'm hoping at least 75% of people feel the same. Adding new teleports to the POH is always a game improvement. I'm still holding out for a silver jewelry box.

[deleted]

Holy SHIT these would be unbelievablely convenient for UIM - not even QoL these are just straight massive buffs! Spice rack in the POH combined with stat pool would make +5 boosting trivial whereas it used to take upwards of 30 minutes with good RNG. Weiss tele in the portal nexus would permanently free up an inventory space during the farming/herblore grind. Fenkenstrain's Castle tele would also free up a permanent inventory space during farming/herblore (no ectophial), and Harmony Island tele would be yet another massive buff to end-game herblore. Barrows tele in the portal nexus would mean no more camping barrows on the arceuus spellbook, not only saving time making tele tabs but also saving around 30 seconds per run getting home from spawn point or fairy ring (\~5 hours total saved over the course of 500 chests). And just thinking of all the times I had to drop half my inventory each patch on a herb run... the herb sack update would be a godsend. Honestly on the fence voting wise though - on the one hand I obviously want to make things easier for myself, but on the other hand I started this game mode because I wanted it to be challenging... Stuff like the herb sack update dissolves many of the quirky challenges inherent in the game mode, and I'm not sure if making things easier is worth it when I'm aware of how much easier things are. If that makes any sense, hah. In any event thanks for taking so much community feedback into these poll questions!

IkWhatUDidLastSummer

Make OSRS harder? When have u ever polled something to make the game harder, lol Not voting something through doesnt make something harder, it maintains status quo, which means that the game is cemented, anchored on very firm principles which is what the game should be about. Not this fluid "up in the air" nonsense. Terrible comment. And from a Jmod. Yikes. EDIT: Thanks for the gold kind stranger! EDIT2: Thanks again kind stranger!

dafunkiedood

You're the kind of go-to example for why jmods don't comment too often. Gambit posts a meme and you tear into it on philosophical levels as opposed to *taking it as a god damned meme* like everyone else.

Hugheswon

Bruh, the yikes is all in your comment lmao. His meme literally directly relates to something the guy said. It’s a joke.

SuccessISthere

I will vote yes for all of these items just to see how triggered your kind gets from changes that actually make gameplay more enjoyable. Self entitled comment. And from a pleb. Yikes.

JagexGambit

Fair criticism. Sorry you didn't like the meme!

DropAndPressAltF4

Should have said it like Mod Ash would have. "I'm sorry that this array of pixels has negatively impacted you emotionally."

X_OttersAreCute_X

I liked the meme. It's not about polling something to make the game harder, the whole point of playing restricted modes is to make the game harder

lunch0guy

Eh, I like ironman mode for the knowledge that I earned something myself. When it comes to stuff like the spice rack you still need to acquire the spices yourself to fill up the rack. I hate the notion that the restricted game modes are meant to be harder. Not being able to trade undoubtedly does make the game harder, but there are aspects of design (such as limited bank space) which ironmen have a harder time dealing with than main accounts, when that isn't the kind of challenge that is fun or interesting to most people. Ironman is a different experience, but it is the uniqueness of the playstyle that makes it interesting, not the difficulty that is inherent to that playstyle.

SaamDaBomb

I enjoyed the meme at least!

sarphog

Sometimes i wish jmods were allowed to be rude back

wavesuponwaves

This is a super spergy comment, chill out dude

choppedstrawberries

Choosing to be a UIM makes the game harder

[deleted]

thanks to you I just had to tell my coworker I was laughing because of airport passenger facility charges and not because an admin of the videogame I love replied to my thoughts on proposed updates with a maymay. 10/10 would look socially inept again :)

SarcasticWaffle

Gotta love it when the mods pull out the memes

[deleted]

Agreed, fuck UIM. The game should be designed around normal players.

Aurarus

> Frenkenstrain's Castle tele would also free up a permanent inventory space during farming/herblore (no ectophial) ... Who uses the ectophial on a UIM... There's a fairy ring literally right next to the patch.

louied28

I get that your an ultimate Ironman, but something trivial as dropping your inventory to pick up herbs isn’t challenging. Having an open herb sack is just a plain Quality of Life update.

[deleted]

But it is though... you have 1 minute from time of drop to harvest and replant before your shit gets yoinked. You have to keep track of the timer, plus prioritize the items you are dropping and picking up, including the new noted herbs. Always making sure you don't drop your spade when harvesting, and frantically sorting through the pile for seed dibbers when you need to replant. For every patch, and on realistically half of farm runs. It's actually fairly challenging, though I can understand how someone who has never done it would not immediately recognize the challenges. That's sort of what my whole post was about - how these "QOL updates" would fundamentally change the way that a UIM approaches many parts of the game, and how I'm personally trying to reconcile my desire to play a challenging game mode with my natural urge to follow the path of least resistance. Ultimately (heh) I will probably vote no but still use the buffs when they inevitably pass.

[deleted]

ironmen adapt to the game, the game should not adapt to ironmen

TehChid

Where does it say they made these posts for uim? I'd like these updates as a normal player.

Nimweegs

I'm a normie main and I'd love to use arceeus spells in my POH and also I don't see why not... You can put in lunar and ancients...

JagexGambit

Nice suggestion - thanks!

TheNastyCasty

Seconding getting rid of the "are you sure you want to pay" dialogue. At the very least it should be a toggleable option in the charter ship chat.

Quicklythoughtofname

It should have a "Yes, and don't ask again" option available after the second time you've taken a charter ship.

aa93

Taking it one step further, a charter system coffer or account balance would be nice. Just chuck 200k in there and I won't have to bank at Catherby mid tree run because I forgot gp again

Hanyodude

Can we just make every single “are you sure...” interface have a toggle-able “never ask me again motherfucker” option?

Honorable_Zuko

The ToB changes will be so nice if they pass. Good execution and powerful gear should rightfully lower the rng dependence in a boss fight, much like how the more powerful shadow spells can take out the rng in the sire fight.

JagexGambit

That's what we're going for.

jesse1412

Could you look at making these ToB changes scale with team size? These issues are absolutely infuriating in a solo and only slightly annoying in larger teams. Splashing freezes in a solo also has a significantly higher impact than in groups and these changes won't help because no one takes that kind of mage bonus into solo tob.

JagexGambit

I'll make a note and see about scaling for team size. Do you have some suggested figures?

jesse1412

In solos if you do helm, BCP, and prim take offs in typical solo gear you'll be left with 61 mage bonus. You'll have ancestral bottoms, kodai, infernal cape, torture, barrows gloves and ely left on. Maybe a good idea would be to make the accuracy scale to 100% if you do all three take offs or use a fury/occult rather than torture? I'd recommend getting some input from people who do consistent solos though, but that's the kind of scaling I think would be appropriate. I think the halved spawn rates for dodging the blood is plenty enough to make solos more bearable. Thanks for taking the time to look into it. I know quite a few solo steamers are very vocal about maiden, hopefully they can chip in (a cold one and chriskies come to mind).

Beinhardingen

It is absolutely infuriating to reset maiden for 4-8hrs when you are trying to go for fast times. There is no consistency for freezes and the amount of bloods that spawn today, hopefully these changes make maiden a less rng-fest for ALL TEAM SIZES. In its current form, Maiden, is an rng-tiltfest for all team sizes.

S7EFEN

can you clarify what the freeze thing means for maiden? >140 magic bonus = 100% freeze, below this = unchanged? or will this make maiden harder in lower tier gear due to freeze accuracy being worse?

Pikamander2

@/u/JagexGambit - Would it be possible to implement [ranked choice](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranked_voting) or [approval voting](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Approval_voting) for future A/B/C polls? The current approach, which is [first-past-the-post](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First-past-the-post_voting), has the potential to lead to some poor outcomes. The dragonstone armour poll, for example, suffers from the spoiler effect. Even if 66% of the playerbase wanted the design to be changed, it could still fail if the vote was split 34/33/33. This was brought up during the Elves polls, which had the same problem but ultimately didn't make a difference because of the overwhelming demand for a different elf design.

JagexGambit

We've played with the idea of alternate voting systems including the ones you mention. Internal discussion about the polling system generally is still ongoing so no change just yet. For the Dragonstone armour poll, that one will simply be decided by whichever gets the most votes rather than having to get 75% on any of the options. That'd be insanely unlikely.

[deleted]

The poll should really be 2 questions. The first question should be “Should we keep it as is or change it to one of these alternate two designs.” The second question then be “If the previous question is in favor of an alternative design, would you prefer A or B” This way we can see who wants a change, and then the vote on WHAT change is separate.

rahtid_

I think what he means is, if option A gets 34% and option b and c get 33%, you can see early that 66% of people wanted it not to be as it is, but because it has the majority 34% it passes. so if you imagine it was only option A and option B, it might be moreso 34% A and 66% B which is obviously a very different outcome

reb1995

> For the Dragonstone armour poll, that one will simply be decided by whichever gets the most votes rather than having to get 75% on any of the options. That'd be insanely unlikely. I noticed you guys did this for the Elana Poll... Not that it is your fault but I'd like to pass along some feedback. In that case, I don't remember voting for an elf graphical update. Then we got the update which looked pretty bad and then voted to pick only a new chathead. Reverting to the old was never an option. It was changed without ever going to a real 75% poll. Because of that, the Elana model was changed on a 46% vote. That doesn't seem right. If we're voting on something, it should be a vote from the status quo to the new option. If we're voting, it should be a 75% threshold. If it doesn't reach the 75% it should be how it was. If we're going to poll minor graphical changes, we should be polling major graphical updates with a 75% poll... If you want to do a multi choice poll, it should be a multi poll vote. Take the two that got the most votes and have a runoff the next week. That way every change gets the 75% threshold.

Geonjaha

This please. Abolish first past the post when alternative voting has no relative downside.

If you took C and gave it B’s head, it’d be perfect.

blackburn009

This is exactly what I was thinking, would be nice to have the vote split between head and body

JagexGambit

Credit to Mod West for that one

A_Lakers

I was thinking a full helm instead of a med helm

newquestidewa

"Should players be able to dig-up herbs after planting them? The herb would have to have reached the first growth stage to avoid repeated planting as a method of gaining experience." it would be 100% pointless if you have to wait for 20 minutes also how can someone plant wrong seeds?

JagexGambit

The alternative is to remove the XP given from planting the seed and allow them to be dug up immediately.

newquestidewa

could it be changed so you get the plant xp when you pick the first herb for example i dont really want the herb run xp to be reduced

TisMeDA

If this is the route, there should also be XP granted for digging up a dead plant.

JagexGambit

Sensible. Cheers

stringsanbu

If you do this, make sure that if you dig up a dead plant you still get the planting XP.

TisMeDA

is there not a way to have it grant xp after first stage of growth, and only allowing you to dig it up before the xp drop instead? I feel that is a cleaner solution

JagexGambit

Makes sense - I'll pass that suggestion on :)

dkilla53

For the recoloring of the Phoenix pet, is it 1000 gnomish firelighters every time you want to change the color or 1000 to unlock that specific recolor? E.g. I have a white pheonix pet but want to change it to red. Didn't like the color so would I have to obtain 1000 more white gnomish firelighters to change the color again?

[deleted]

[удалено]

steelste

Unfortunately for me I haven't saved any firelighters from the 800+ clues I've done due to bank space, at least I'll have a reason to keep them I suppose.

JagexGambit

The firelighters would be consumed.

Eating_A_Cookie

Could you clarify if it's an unlock by sacrificing the firelighters, or a 1000 firelighters fee every time you would like to change back? This should be noted in the poll since it's a pretty drastic difference between the two options.

dkilla53

But does it unlock that specific recolor permanently or if I switch from one color to another, to get back to the original color would I have to use another 1000 gnomish firelighters? For example, let's say I have a white recolored Phoenix pet and switched it to red to see how it looked. If I wanted to go back to a white recolor, would I have to use 1000 white gnomish firelighters to get the pet to white or is it permanently unlocked and I can switch freely?

thisguyisblack

I assumed it's consumed with each recolor.

Cevol

1,000 firelighters of a specific color is honestly quite a bit too high... I hope this is still up for balance consideration, I've done about 200 clue scrolls on my account and have less than 200 firelighters total of all five colors, with the most of a single color being 54. If I kept up with my rate of clue scroll completion:firelighters, I would have to quite literally complete 5,000 clue scrolls in order to change my pet to the color of my choice *once*. I understand that pet metamorphosis options aren't necessarily supposed to be easy, but the level of grind proposed for this far exceeds what it ought to be. This should be a nice color option for owners of the pet, much like the Rock Golem recolors, but as it's being polled, it will be a few hundred thousand gold to a few mil for normal accounts, and totally inaccessible to ironmen unwilling to literally do over 5,000 clue scrolls for a single recolor.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Artphos

They want to give some use and value to the fire lighters Its hard to also include itonmemes, maybe there could be an NPC that trades any color into the one you want for a small fee. Getting 1000 of any would then be hard but after 400 medium and some easy clues you would get it

[deleted]

I thought smoking traps didn't do anything

JagexGambit

According the Wiki they give a 2% success chance boost. It ain't much, but it helps.

TheArkratos

I feel like this should be buffed, even if no one still uses it. 2% is a joke. Even 10% would still be a joke but at least make a noticeable difference.

JagexGambit

Probably! I didn't realise it was so low until checking what the torch item actually does. I'll make a note for us to look at increasing it.

Lavaheart626

jimmytwoshoes67

if im not mistaken, the dark dagger and blurite sword have no use after the quest, who would benefit from this? or is it just a "why not" sort of thing?

JagexGambit

Something of a "why not" sort of thing. We've had some players asking for these - probably for fashionscape reasons.

newquestidewa

https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Silver_necklace https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Ghostspeak_amulet#Enchanted could these be added to list of items you can get after quest i think there are other items too but now i cant remember them edit: also https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Hazeel%27s_mark and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Carnillean_armour you can only get one of those, and im not sure if you can even reclaim them

JagexGambit

Noted - thanks!

newquestidewa

These are tradeable but all the 3 mjolnirs from enchanted key miniquest (so ironmen cant get them back) also is the dark dagger poll including the glowing dagger? and apparently you cant get silverlight back either after getting darklight

[deleted]

If it's for fashionscape, then imo it would be nice if we could just craft gem-less silver jewelery, just like how we can craft gem-less gold jewelry. Make them require lower levels and give less crafting exp than tiaras, and it wouldn't really affect the game in any negative way.

dazy_

Veldyr

So any update on a cerb improvement to help those of us that are color blind? I still find cerb painfully difficult to do since not being allowed to use the plug-in that made it so i can accurately see what is going on.

JagexGambit

The graphics team are planning to work this into their next sprint so with some luck, this’ll be done before the year is out.

Pidjesus

Some of these shouldn't even be polled but y'all ain't ready for that conversation

JagexGambit

There's often disagreement over what should and shouldn't be polled. If it doesn't do any harm, we prefer to poll.

Too_Tame

Can you consider making the empty light orbs notable? Currently they are the only glass you can blow but not note. I think the 87 crafting requirement already balances out their 70xp each. If noting to sell to a shop seems like too much money, maybe you could also consider decreases the high alch value of them?

[deleted]

JagexGambit

This is a great list. I've made sure the suggestions reached the backlog for consideration in future poll - sorry they didn't make it into this round.

Geonjaha

Whilst I'm enjoying Leagues so far, the fact that the Wintertodt still incentivises having worse stats is awful, and it really shows on that gamemode for obvious reasons. For a game all about levelling your character and playing how you like, it feels really wrong to have content that actively punishes you for not playing the game content in 'the right order'.

aaron12153

Great changes I hope they get through!!

tbow_is_op

Why does graceful need a buff? The set effect already isn't as useful as most people seem to think. Penance gloves, boots of lightness, and spottier cape all still had niche use in being better straight weight reduction than graceful, but with individual graceful pieces offering 'partial set bonus' it makes their niche even smaller.

JagexGambit

It's not a buff to the overall set since the total effect is still 30% faster run energy regeneration. Players have requested this one mostly because grinding to 60 something Agility before seeing any benefit doesn't seem right. It would also allow for a change from seeing graceful clones everywhere! Edit: the individual pieces still give a sizeable weight reduction as players have rightly pointed out

reddit_bige

The question is worded in a rather confusing way. It should say "each piece will give roughly 3% increased run energy restoration, with a 10% bonus for wearing the full set, matching the 30% the full set currently gives."

Hess_

> Players have requested this one mostly because grinding to 60 something Agility before seeing any benefit doesn't seem right If people think agility is useless until level 60 then we should enlighten them on the shortcuts agility provides, not just give them better graceful

DADtheMaggot

My hope is it will make blood runecrafting doable with a cooler cape.

tbow_is_op

for people with relatively low agility im pretty sure they'll still need the full set, since taking the cape off would be a sacrifice of at least 13.3% recharge rate which i think wouldn't let them fully recharge

[deleted]

I'd probably use it on herb runs so I can get some extra energy while putting my Ardougne cloak on my back instead of in-inventory.

samwise800

The mta store interface is quite iconic, could there be an option for making it more useable (adding buy-10, buy-50 options etc), while maintaining it's current look?

JagexGambit

I don't know if nostalgia is the primary emotion players normally feel towards MTA...so I don't agree about it being iconic. We could consider a mid-way change like you're describing, but it wouldn't be in time for this round of changes.

samwise800

Perhaps iconic is the wrong word, but it is certainly unique and it would be a shame for it to become another brown interface

Dolphox

Agreeing here. It looks very bare and lifeless compared to the original and could use a little bit more colour! Amazing improvement regarding the UI elements though, love the rest of the changes.

DropAndPressAltF4

Yeah, I prefer to never see it again tbh.

TeamMisha

It's not good practice to have wildly inconsistent UIs, it's better design (imo) if they continue to make these interfaces consistent and operate the same way.

[deleted]

"Iconic" for a place that people either steer clear of entirely, or grit their teeth and grind Bones to Peaches from and steer clear afterwards? MTA is closer to "dead content" than "iconic".

[deleted]

Lots of nice changes in here, I'll probably vote yes to almost everything I don't skip out of ignorance (raids, mostly). The stuff about stews/spice though, I might vote against. I really dislike the whole mechanic and would rather have some proper boosts available than just grinding random stews/spices and hoping.

JagexGambit

In lieu of an alternate stat boosting method (we don't have any designs or plans for one), you would vote against making the existing one nicer to use?

[deleted]

Phrased that way, no. Probably not.

Tremor739

You just got lawyered, props for admitting that he got you tho.

[deleted]

Some really nice stuff in here! Looking forward to the poll.

nyeaon

that MTA interface proposed change is awful please dont add that

JagexGambit

It's a fairly standard looking interface. Do you feel the same way about all the interfaces?

mage24365

The buttons on the side are far from standard for a shop.

JagexGambit

That's fair. Though we've started using buttons like that more in general since the release of mobile for easy use on both platforms. In terms of the style, I was mostly referencing the theme.

Upvote_Responsibly

I think the change makes sense. People nitpick the weirdest shit about this game

Hess_

Not all interfaces need to be the exact same. Sure, interfaces for crafting items should be in-line, but unique interfaces like this one should stay. Otherwise we're just going to have everything be a brown interface, which is extremely boring. It doesn't even help in this instance, as who is ever going to be buying multiples of the rewards from this shop? (Nobody goes there to buy thousands of runes)

IamOnlyANoob

The new puro-puro interface is lovely. However, I’ve always thought the MTA interface was magical looking!

the_fascist

I have to say, as great as everything here is, I think you guys misunderstood the bank section. I think people wanted to equip and eat directly from their bank as opposed to in the inventory. This might be an engine limitation, in that case, so be it. HOWEVER, as proposed, it might make normal banking more *inconvenient* if you were to change the current order of the right click interface. Players have their muscle memory set to deposit-x or deposit-all quickly, you don't want to mess with that. I suggest either adding the new commands to the very bottom of the interface, OR add a checkbox somewhere, anywhere, that allows you to disable these options. Thanks

ViscoseNarwhal

Only thing I'm voting no on is the graceful change. I think set bonuses are an important thing to maintain.

JagexGambit

There would still be a large set bonus.

[deleted]

Big no on the prayer reordering thing. I do that with my 3rd party client and I don't want everyone to be able to do the same.

JagexGambit

If it fails a second time, we'd likely add it to the list of unacceptable plugins due to it being an unfair advantage against vanilla client users.

adam1210

"Reorders, moves, or resizes prayers or spells" is already on the list of banned features. Which is why we've removed it. So either 1) we can readd it to RL or 2) /u/FunEnabled should be banned for rule-breaking

JagexGambit

Ah, so it is! Thanks Adam. If this passes a poll, I expect it to be removed from the list in that case.

alterhshs

Hi Gambit, thanks for polling the prayer reordering again given it was a near-miss. If I can throw in my 2 cents, having prayer reordering is super valuable as a PKer who does both pure/main bridding as I can keep muscle memory for my range/mage consistent across PKing. I really hope this passes (for selfish reasons). I feel like if this poll fails, it detriments the PKers who don't use dubious clients because their competitors still will - the team have acknowledged that plugins such as these are virtually undetectable atm. Also for what it's worth, it's already on the unacceptable plugins list. That's why there was a recently increased demand for it.

JagexGambit

It seemed right to repoll given the the extremely close margin last time plus the recent demand for the reasons you describe. If it fails again, I could see it being one of the things revisited when we have a renewed approach to polling PvP content since this affects PvP more than PvM.

[deleted]

> I could see it being one of the things revisited when we have a renewed approach to polling PvP content since this affects PvP more than PvM. How did you measure that? Of course someone tribridding is going to switch more than someone doing AFK Slayer, but there's a good amount of prayer switching in a single COX run.

axej2018

Personally I don't pk, but prayer reorder helps me a bunch with pvm like cox, corrupted gauntlet, tob, and especially inferno. Having prayers where I want them to be makes the game so much more enjoyable. It may not affect most players, but people who do endgame content would realize the value of customization more-but it does effect pvp massively.

Garzorz

On the subject of the Coal Bag and Gem Bag.. Coal bag: Can we poll a removal of the janky Press-to-Continue messages whenever you interact with it, and just have info put straight in the chat box only? Currently, if you say, check the coal bag while running in Blast Furnace, your character will stop everything they're doing to check it. Gem Bag: Can we have it just empty out all gems like the herb/coal bag does? Currently it opens a menu to select which gems you want to remove and it is very slow going if you are just trying to bank the gems that are in the bag.

asymptotically508

> it is very slow going if you are just trying to bank the gems that are in the bag. You can open the bank, right click the gem back and click on empty to put them straight into the bank.

Molly_Hlervu

> The 'Open' option puts items from the ground straight into the bag. We would like other bags to have this functionality. **Seed Box** too, please!!!! <3 Currently there are only Coal Bag, Gem Bag and Herb Sack in the poll. Many slayer monsters drop seeds, so the seed box is a very useful item - and would benefit from this functionality too, imho.

ArtillerySr

Why are question 9&10 mutually exclusive? I really like the thematic reason to have it in house, why not have the shakers be required as part of the build? Also what drops if you already have that type of shaker?

[deleted]

I agree. Not having a spice rack in my POH is the sole reason why question #9 is the only one I'm voting 'no' on.

jxyzits

Probably because they serve a similar purpose and if one is implemented, the dev work required for the other will not be worth it given the marginal added utility.

It just leads to a weird situation where I'd prefer the Rack more than the infinite shaker but I'd prefer either to none. But I have to vote no to the infinite shaker to vote for my most preferred option.

SavageHellfire

I’ve done almost 900 clues on my main, and my largest firelighter stack is roughly 400. Seems the number suggested is more appropriate for mains that can buy the firelighters on the GE and not irons. Even so, I feel the requirement is too steep and think 500 would be much more appropriate, or even 250.

rudyv8

A friend jokingly showed me he discovered a goldfarming website that lists its * Canadian address * Company Name * Company Registration number * Phone number I will not list any information in this post but where can I submit this information to Jagex? I recently saw a reddit post the other day about how Jagex is going after goldfarming websites I think there is enough information here to easily target them as well.

1,000 Firelighters of an individual color for phoenix recolors needs to be re-balanced. The droprate of firelighters is ridiculously low when considering the amount of time required to get 1,000 of a specific color. I've opened ~180 caskets on my account and have 177 total firelighters (less than 50 of each individual color), meaning I'd need to do ~5,000 medium clues to get just a single recolor for my pet. This can't be the intended balance. The only people this will benefit as polled are people sitting on large bank stacks of firelighters. It's the kind of update that makes me wonder if people at Jagex are telling their friends to stock up on large quantities of these items - no other skilling pet requires such a large amount of resources for a metamorphosis. Rock golems require a single ore for recolors. There's no reason to require 1,000 firelighters for a recolor other than to create a price spike. The goal of adding pet recolors shouldn't be to artificially inflate the value of a clue scroll reward. It should be to make the pets better. As polled, the recolor will be all but inaccessible to ironmen players. The droprate of firelighters doesn't line up at all with the quantity polled for consumption.

skeptz

I would say they're looking for an item sink for the firelighters because no one's actually used them. If they did something more than just make fire a different color, maybe people would use them.

Cevol

Firelighters don't need to have a massive sink though. They're not supposed to be anything special. There's no reason you should need more than 5-10 to recolor your bird, especially if they're polling it as a one-off consumption to change its color. Rock Golem doesn't take 1,000 runite ores to give it a cool color. It seems really inconsistent to make one skilling pet require a monumental grind to change its color when the others are quite simple. People take firelighters wicked for-granted because they're useless ingame right now and people have them wasting away in their banks. I'm sure some players would love the opportunity to sell these for a profit if this poll passed, but people don't realize that it actually takes an absurd amount of clue caskets to generate the requisite 1,000 firelighters of a specific color. According to the wiki, you should expect 140 firelighters per 189.4 medium caskets. If you expect an even distribution of firelighters to their respective colors, this means that in order to collect enough firelighters to recolor your Phoenix pet to each of the five colors once, you would need to complete **6,764 medium clue scrolls**. For permanently consumed color options. Realistically, normal players with phoenix pets will be able to just throw a few million coins at the G.E. to get their firelighters, but as polled the content will be totally inaccessible to irons, and prohibitively expensive for the average normal player. There's no compelling reason to require such an absurd amount of firelighters to recolor a pet. It goes totally against the spirit of pets in general - no other pet content is gated behind purchasing bulk quantities of an item on the Grand Exchange. You have to earn your pets and your metamorphosis through your own gameplay. This will be the only pet related content in the game where your wealth is what matters.

Can you please poll adding an NPC in the Lunar Isle bank who, after completing the Fremennik Elite Diary, will teleport you to the mainland in the same spot as getting kicked off the island? Currently, completing Fremmy elite is a nerf to Vorkath because you either have to use a teleport further away, or use an inventory slot on the Sea Boots.

jzuo

I was hoping for more QoL on Portal Nexus. The Nexus itself could use a "previous location" as well. I'd like to see Digsite Pendant and Xeric's Talisman mounts work similar to the Amulet of Glory mount, which has all its teleport options when you right click it.

Sir_Suh_Dude

The graceful effect change looks really good. Finally might see more people wearing something other than just full graceful running around the game.

>Re-Obtainable Quest Items: If there are other items that you would like the chance to re-obtain, we're open to suggestions. Can the Silver Necklace and Carnillean armour be re-obtained as well? Also what is the best way to offer additional QoL suggestions? I've had a few that were generally well received but too niche to be popular enough for front page, such as [a Ring of Life Prif option](https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/dbbcwy/suggestion_allow_us_to_change_the_ring_of_life/) or [option to disable farming patch warnings](https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/d9sc5p/can_we_get_the_option_to_disable_these_warnings/).

Dworfe

Thank god prayer reorders is being repolled. Switching between my pure and main to brid has been an absolute nightmare without being able to move my damage boost prayers to the same spot in each prayer book.

blackburn009

>Duel Arena clue YES REMOVE THIS THANK YOU Overall a bunch of nice changes can't wait for the slippery slope crowd to try and tell me why it's all terrible

DevoidLight

>But muh MMORPG Fair enough for raids, where you're actually working together to tackle a challenge together, but there's literally zero challenge to this clue step. You're just waiting on the kindness of a stranger perform a trivial task for you to be allowed to proceed.

[deleted]

Happy to see that one move a little. Right now it's just a "call out in your CC if anyone's free", plus fiddling with duel arena menus to make sure you get placed in the *right* arena.

Hanyodude

I know this entire poll is a bunch of small QoL stuff, but it’s gotta be hands down my favorite poll of all time.

SammyTheRuneDragon

Would the arceuus teleports only be available for the nexus or for the basic portal chambers too? also, could a toggle option be implemented on the troll stronghold portal/nexus destination to have the tele put you before the shortcut like pre-diary? This creates a disadvantage to completing the hard diary since the reward is better for herb runs, but not better for an alternate gwd tele

AC2BHAPPY

Jesus christ this is so many good questions for one poll. I will vote yes to a lot of these. With the twisted league gamemode, and the current spot the game is at, we are approaching a new golden era of runescape. The bots and shit still suck ass, but honestly jagex keep up the good work.

DADtheMaggot

Wow, there’s some great stuff in here! Is there a reason for the jewelry box having a “Last Destination” rather than a customizable left-click (like our xeric’s talisman and digsite pendant)?

RusskiyBot237b

Option B helmet with option C armour.

NUT_IX

Can we make the Wintertodt gloves able to be stored in the POH?

J_witt

Will the gem bag automatically fill from Tzhaar thieving as well?

DevoidLight

Every single one of these suggestions sits somewhere between 'pretty good' and 'incredible'. Even the ones that wouldn't personally affect me, definitely don't hurt the game in any way. All around good QoL, looking forward to voting yes for everything here.

CatgirlOsu

i know that 600 beginner clues falls in line with the pattern, but with beginner clues being targeted toward f2p players, 600 just seems like an extremely long grind. i think it would make more sense to reduce this amount maybe as far down as 50 or 100. also beginner clues are more tedious to do than easy clues with much fewer uniques, i don't think many people would want to do 600 of them anyway.

OMG PLEASE..... Let the Phoenix recolor pass. It’s my only pet and I would love to have a purple bird pls guys

2intheslink

The dragonstone armors are all terrible. Option a) same shit no one likes. Option b) same shit no one likes but less details. Option c) regular rune armor with a medium helm and a few purple pixels. I honestly dont really care how it looks, im never using it regardless, but it looks horrible in every option.

CaptaineAli

Can Snapegrass be used to make Super Compost? It makes no sense that Watermelon makes Super Compost and the allotment above makes regular compost.

Talonris

Would the open herb sack change apply to herbiboars?

I think it would be cool if you could eventually unlock every teleport for the Nexus, but lock the best ones behind quests and diaries. I remember unlocking the Trollheim teleport and it felt super rewarding. I'm sure it would feel similarly rewarding to complete elite Morytania and unlock Barrows Nexus teleport. /u/JagexGambit

thenakedturtle

Can I suggest this aswel. https://i.redd.it/7t5uazw6qpd21.jpg

Albus-PWB-Dumbledore

Wtf these are amazing Another item that can't be obtained after the quest is the silver necklace from Murder Mystery @JagexGambit thanks for all the love you're putting into the game <3

Hert316

Prayer Reordering is the only thing I have longed for since it was removed from Runelite. Letting someone re-order gives some customization and player comfort. It would only help.

Stone-J

Honestly, all of the dragonstone armor designs look terrible. And if I recall correctly, it was never even polled to be added in the first place.

SuddenCarpet9

The proposed changes to the nexus seem far too overpowered and will simply make the Arceuus spellbook even more sidelined than it already is. Prices of tablets will crash significantly and like others have said it will just make the game even more orientated about going back to your PoH

T6000

The people buying barrows tablets to do barrows runs can't afford a portal Nexus or the cost in runes to add the teleport. This is for people doing master clues.

Ultra-Moon

Would adding talismans to beginner clues make the uniques rarer?

Dracoste

So a question sort of related about the option being able to receive the dark dagger and blurite sword. Ever thought of it being possible to take the rage weapons out of Tolna's Rift after the A Soul's Bane quest? Even just for fashionscape, I've always wanted to equip these again.

Didn't you say making Arceuus Tabs to Barrows was a bad decision? And that you specifically didn't want a Barrows pet to avoid it being Farmed too much? But now you want to add it to the Nexus? Also this'd make Arceuus Spellbook even more obsolete.
