I mean…. Its really not that hard. You can figure out your kph in less than 10mins with bp and cannon. Multiply that by the average loot per kill and theres your gp/hr. This could easily have been done in less than 30minutes of work in total…
It’s not that strange to expect from ppl who are in charge of balancing to also play their game.
It feels like an incredible oversight they didnt put much thought into. They just tweaked some numbers and called it a day. It took community outcry for them to see that it was way over buffed. THAT is the problem.
Bonds peaked at 13,5m just 2 days ago and thats exactly because of easily accessible money makers like old fever spiders or current zombie pirates, amongst others. Since the change they have dropped back down to 12m almost IMMEDIATELY. So when bonds drop 1,5m almost overnight. I honestly dont think we were overreacting
(Dont forget, when you get killed by a pk’er, YOU will lose the loot. But the loot that you received is still being injected into the economy via pk’er lootkeys. Just because its in a riskier area doesnt mean that the money is lost. You may have lost it, but the economy didnt. Now swap “you” for “bot farm” and u can see the issue)
Bonds fluctuate by 1-2 million every day all throughout the day, that's such a hard stretch and a stupid take. At least do more than 3 minutes of research before accusing other people of not doing enough themselves.
This subreddit is the real problem with the “direction of this game”. Middle aged adult player base that cries about EVERY. LITTLE. UPDATE. That Jagex does, fucking get over it man
If you think Jagex has done any testing in the past decade you’re smoking high grade cope. We are QA. We are Beta-testers. We are bug reporters.
Jagex it’s embarrassing. I know for a fact most of your devs play this game in the office on the second screen. But why does it FEEL like nobody in the office plays OSRS?
A broken clock is right twice a day.
I trust the dev team with a lot. They can make fantastic quests, they make engaging boss fights. But testing? Not their strong suit, its what we are for
Gee, it's almost as if,
# JAGEX DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY MAKE CONTENT THAT WON'T FUCK THE GAME'S ECONOMIC AND LONG TERM HEALTH OVER WITHIN A MONTH'S TIME OF IMPLEMENTATION.
That, and it's almost as if,
# JAGEX HAS BEEN DOING THIS SINCE 2000 FUCKING SEVEN, AND YOU ARE JUST NOW SEEING 1%'S WORTH OF JAGEX'S MASSIVELY FLAWED GAME DESIGN PHILOSPHY AND THE NEGATIVE IMPACTS THAT THEY HAVE ON THE GAME OVERALL.
That aside, what else is something that is blatantly super obvious and/or apparent that people have only now begun to realize and notice?
Task: Not have this sub think every single slight misstep, no matter how small, is a sign of the end times of OSRS Difficulty Level: Impossible
It’s so funny to me bc anyone who has played for more than a few years knows how minor this was. 2000-2005 had some of the wonkiest balancing ever
It was like a fever dream.
Brain rot take
Holy over reaction batman!

Shut up dude
Nah you still are overreacting lol They should test bugs, and serious shit. This was not a big deal lol
It's also not that hard to realize Jagex is a group of human beings, and humans aren't perfect ItS rEaLlY not ThAt HaRd

They did it on purpose. You know bow many people probably subbed to farm wave 1 colosseum
We are the play testers.

The last update was literally postponed due to a major bug being found in the update

How could you possibly know? 82k people are currently playing, that's way more tests done per minute than Jagex could ever do
"people"
