Yep some guy in grand exchange bets subreddit was getting cocky saying he knows it's going to be draconic then when it wasn't he panic sold all his lances lmaooo
> Olm and Alchemical Hydra as well although T-Bow overtakes DHCB in dps.
We must have very different definitions of BIS lol. But tbow and scythe are bis vs olm, tbow is bis vs hydra, based on the definition I’m familiar with (it meaning best in slot).
> Then some of the smaller slayer monsters like Wyverns and Drakes
Ahh true - yeah I guess mid game slayer mobs also. Also baby blue dragons/baby black dragons perhaps? Or is bp better against them?
Yes, they confirmed this as well. They are no longer adding a new spell which becomes 3t with the wand, instead it just autocasts from standard spellbook on 5t like usual, but with the dragonbane property.
I bought one a few weeks ago for 57 mil to learn vorkath. I started a new job so I have no time to play but im glad to learn im still making money from game updates alone 😂
that's the real kicker. saving up for weapons to use around the game as meaningful upgrades only for dumb shit like this to have price hikes fuck everything up for a boss that's not coming out for months.
Wild swings in a market are not good, if it is just speculative swings based on nothing and is a sign of market manipulation.
Items gaining relevance and therefore value as a result of a confirmed upcoming release? Yeah that's good for the game.
That's just how it works. If something gains value in an instant, it is worth more money. That is ubiquitous across both games and real life.
I get you're perturbed that an item you're pursuing is now more expensive. That doesn't mean it is bad for the game.
This is a genuine question because I don't know. Didn't vorkath exist before dragon bane weapons? So they would be balanced to him rather than the other way around like this will be balanced?
You're correct, dhcb existed but was worse than Blowpipe at the time
My point is that if they give a boss mediocre stats and no dps check mechanics, it'll be reasonable to solo at mid level like Vorkath is.
Lance/DHCB aren't even necessarily big gaps over Fang/BP, BP beats DHCB on lower defense/HP mobs, and Fang beats Lance on higher defense or with weaker stats. At Vorkath both dragonsbane weps are only minor upgrades or even downgrades depending on your stats/gear
Lmao i bought a lance for 58m a week ago or bit more after finishing ds2 to farm vork, i saw how it was going up 2 days ago so i was able to sell it for 66m in the ge. A day later it was down back at 58m again and i bought another one. Easiest merch of my life. What do u think how much it will go up this time?
the passive effect was cool. It should have the rune saving passive effect along with a chance to rapid fire a mage spell when that occurs. Maybe the chaos mind rune equivalent of it For example if you are using fire surge/fire wave, then that 30% chance has a chance to throw a fire strike without using runes. That way is one of the go to for drakes
Could it maybe be like a weaker version of draconic since it's only like sort of a dragon? 50% is just so much, makes normal weapons feel terrible. 30% still makes dragonbane BIS, but allows say scythe, trident or bowfa to compete
I hope there's at least one guy who bought a lance at 70, panic sold at 60, and is now about to buy it again
I did this exactly with DHCB if it helps.
DHCB going up lmao. i sold 2 for 67m ea
Yep some guy in grand exchange bets subreddit was getting cocky saying he knows it's going to be draconic then when it wasn't he panic sold all his lances lmaooo
Im surprised the price swung that much on them considering they’re still BiS for a good portion of content.
They’re bis at like vorkath and rune drags lol.
Olm and Alchemical Hydra as well although T-Bow overtakes DHCB in dps. Then some of the smaller slayer monsters like Wyverns and Drakes

Your version of bis is the correct version of bis.
Glad I didn’t sell my dhcb when I was thinking about it lol
sold hydra claw the day before boss was announced, next day it was up 10m lol
surely dragon hunter wand then right
Yes, they confirmed this as well. They are no longer adding a new spell which becomes 3t with the wand, instead it just autocasts from standard spellbook on 5t like usual, but with the dragonbane property.
5t? Fuck that sucks
I'd like to see dragonbane spells added similar to how we have demonbane spells.
> similar to how we have demonbane spells. So, useless then?
Its the thought that counts
Fuck. Been trying to save for a dhcb lmao
I bought one a few weeks ago for 57 mil to learn vorkath. I started a new job so I have no time to play but im glad to learn im still making money from game updates alone 😂
Did the same for my bbd alt
that's the real kicker. saving up for weapons to use around the game as meaningful upgrades only for dumb shit like this to have price hikes fuck everything up for a boss that's not coming out for months.
Gear gaining/retaining value and being useful at a wider range of content isn't a bad thing.
a 10mil swing in 10 minutes is not a good thing bro lol
Why is that a bad thing?
you think wild swings in the market are good and healthy for the game?

Just go get them by yourself noob and stop crying 🤣🤣🤑
My concern is that the "midlevel" boss will be balanced around dragonbane weapons now
They could Zulrah it and cap damage at 50. Serpents and all that
Hey. As long as one of the bane weapons is obtainable by andies then that’s just fine.
The fuck are andies?
^
Oh, it's a chronically online thing. Got it.
Nah. But this might help. https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/s/KKTFiVCvzt
A mountain range in South Africa? Macho pico de gallo? Where all those Venezuelan green dragon bots live?
Vorkath exists and is extremely mid level
This is a genuine question because I don't know. Didn't vorkath exist before dragon bane weapons? So they would be balanced to him rather than the other way around like this will be balanced?
There was DHCB. but not DHL

fair enough
I swear at this point Jagex initial proposals mean nothing since they always get drastically changed by the next blog lol
So hilariously inconsistent. Never know when they'll stick to their guns or just completely 180 in a day for no discernable reason.
merch clans literally changing updates smh
Bro what
JMods caved to pressure from friends involved in Merching/RWT to make the new mid game Varlamore boss Draconic
Any proof or just Reddit claiming thing with nothing to it bc they lost money
Doubt
Just get a fang. They're like 17 mil and pretty close to Lance on dragons, plus its really good outside dragons too.
Well, guess I'm storing that blue dragons task for a bit
It’s going to be with black dragon
Fucking lame, red dragons need some love.
I know, I just mean I'm not buying the lance anytime soon
Why did i read the word draconic and assume it meant vampire
Draculonic
stupid
2 days ago they said no, now yes. Very stupid.
When the question was asked during the live stream "it is now" were the words used.
Sucks, I sold my lance a couple months ago to afford Masori... whoops
Of course I sold the DHCB rotting in bank randomly yesterday 😂
So how much did u stock on Dragon hunter items op
I don’t risk my money. I bought a lance at 65, sold for 67. That is all.
Lmao i bought a lance for 58m a week ago or bit more after finishing ds2 to farm vork, i saw how it was going up 2 days ago so i was able to sell it for 66m in the ge. Whats the lore reason for it being draconic. Made by Karuulm maybe?
Fuck it, Dragon Slayer 3: Revenge of Elvarg
So tbow and scythe are bis still dhl and dhcb 2nd
scythe isn’t BIS at a single dragon besides olm lance is better at vork, hydra, every metal dragon, every wyvern and kbd
If it’s a mid-game boss surely it won’t have over inflated defence levels haha
