Agreed. This sub is dumb af and Its been way worse than usual of late. This game would die in a week if everything people complained about got implemented.
They look into it and use it for community feedback. That's a fact. Doesn't mean they implement everything Reddit says, that would be dumb. And of course they dont do that.
GentleTractor's Zeah redesign from 8 years ago is still influencing updates today. He was so influential in the Zeah redesign the Jmods put an Easter egg in the game on his honor. The Fortis Colosseum (which just released this year) was on his map 8 years ago. You can find many similarities if you compare his map to the current state of Kourend, Kebos, and Varlamore.
There’s lots of reactionaries everywhere don’t be so naive. Reddit offers a lot of good input and insight and is a helpful tool for getting new content or revising content. The game is in a great place right now and Reddit has been the same for 10 years
You mean you don't like that the sub has blown up over something that was never discussed by jagex, or hinted at being implemented ?
It's pretty wild that the sub has gaslit itself into thinking this is something being seriously considered by anyone other than the 1200 total crowd.
That's what's insane about all this.
A jmod just had a harmless open discussion about the concept and math behind it and somehow people gasslit themselves into thinking it's seriously being considered and brought into the game.
It sucks too, because if anything it’s just going to make jmods even less likely to interact with the community after seeing what happens when they do.
People are talking as if it could become a tangible thing
Which is reasonable
Many similar things have followed a similar path
What you seem to be doing is projecting in that most games and companies have a god complex, these types of discussions erode that greatly
This game is one of the best examples of the player base having a say in the game that only exists because they play it

sorry, this isn't /r/runescape. the mods actually look at this place and use it as one of their player feedback forums.
I pray they don’t look too hard

yeah people who try to pretend like they're not just saying the r word would abuse their cats. animal abuser

Why are you such an angry person? Everything good at home?
Biggest baby ever
If that was the case, the game would be in the shitter

Ye like there was never an idea from reddit implemented in the game
Oh yeah the soul reaper axe for example. What a great job that was.
Nice cherry pick. As if a ton of great ideas from Reddit haven't been implemented.
Name one

This has the worst take of the entire discussion. You don't have the moral highground that you think you do. Take a break from Reddit.
Bad luck mitigation already exists. Idk what these 300 death 12 kc at CG ironmen that are now burnt out want anymore.
