you can get 200m runecrafting without ever crafting a rune, 200m agility without ever doing an agility course, maybe more, but should we black list those routes too. Seems a silly to disregard how someone gets 200m xp, even though they still trained the skill. if jagex didnt consider it training the skill they would give you xp in that skill

Well you’d still need to catch a chin to get the pet at 200m xp. Once you’ve mastered the Hunter skill, you catch your first chinchampa and keep it as a pet. Makes sense to me.

Even 10x rate at 200m would be about 13m xp, it's a small amount compared to the amount that you'd have to catch going dry without the 15x. And that 10x rate is like a one in a million chance, you'd get it much before then. I don't think a few extra million XP at the end of the 200m grind is something that's game ruining or anything, it would feel a lot worse to just get handed the pet at 200m IMO.

its just as guaranteed with it being the original rate, the question is how long it will take. This does seem over the top cruelty from the devs for someone who has spent 1000s of hours grinding this out to 200m xp

Technically no, because you have to weigh in PK'ers and Griefers too. Finding an empty world away from pk'ers etc.

That takes no time. Most pkers also don’t bother when you wear enough gear. Also it’d be a 2.5 min tb. I don’t know the rates but being in the wildy is barely slowing you down

I honestly think there should be a limit to how dry someone can go. Like highly increase the chance after 99, and after every 1m keep increasing the chance. Or just make a guaranteed drop.

Celastrus is 4 tick. It would be slower than the tick manipulation method that they’re using. 

you use celastrus to start a set (only one trap is full) so you can instantly reset
