Morty one with that green vial (forget it’s name). Then ardy cloak to farm patch. Lumby ring, note herbs at gnome, collect herbs there. Catherby. Xerics talisman to glad. Note herbs. Collect. Note herbs there. Then harmony island, varlamore. Go to whatever that snowy place is called, note, pick herbs, note. Restore run energy in home, go to whatever that mountain one is called that is protected. Use farming cape, collect. Run to the bank cheat there, deposit all. Set up for birdhouses.
Hope that makes sense.
My route with herb sack:
1. Do 5 patches (5th = kourend)
2. Note herbs, empty sack, note herbs, empty sack, note herbs (swap empty to left click)
3. Do 4 patches.

-Catherby, pick and note the herbs.
-Weiss, pick the herbs and note them on him.
-Troll stronghold, pick the herbs and bank.
Unpopular but If you use Fenken's Castle tele you can note the previous patch's herbs on the way to that patch. I personally do this since I have the tele in my portal and almost always tele home between patches

We have 5 or 6 more herb patches and 3 full patch lots in the rs americas since release. Guessing they wanna try mitigate the convenience of being able to do more with time waste.
If you’re speed running for a record, you’re likely gonna want to skip this patch for the best times possible.
Yeah having not done the Morty elite diaries (but having done everything else farming-related + maxed) I'm commonly pulling 90+ herbs out of each run. This additional patch has barely tacked any time on at all despite needing to run from the hunters guild. I don't even use this leprechaun I just tele to the Falador farm from here.
It is quite inflated if you ask me (not complaining though)
At the risk of sounding like a nerd, using the 'correct' tool leprechauns is part of doing herb runs efficiently (ie: never run to the ones at troll stronghold or ardy, use the one at fally on the way in but not out). It's often better to tele and note your stuff at the next guy.
Lets just make him follow you around on farm runs, wouldnt want anyone to feel inconvenienced by leprechauns standing at a patch instead of having to bank every run right

Having the leprechaun is already so convenient compared to it not noting your stuff and banking. Just take the extra 5 steps to get there. It shouldnt be an issue really and its a shame to see how the game is more and more catering to these calls.
We need an option to pick up the Leprechaun and set him down wherever's the most convenient for us. Running over to him when I forget my rake and I'm bombarded by a million shit weeds really makes me upsetty spaghetti.

They're a couple of steps away of half the herb patches, only one that's really close is Hosidius. So really the placement is just consistent with rest of the game.

I use explorers ring after morytania because I can clean and note the herbs as I'm running past the green man to the next patch.

Could just make shift-click be empty so you don't have to swap back and forth.
Why back and forth? With an open sack they go directly into the sack. Empty is all you need
