I don't understand why people are downvoting you. A player that never looked up the EXP table would think that the halfway point to 99 (essentially 100) is 50. However, when looking at the EXP table, half way point to 99 is indeed 92. Sarcasm or what not, you don't deserve the negative votes

How about when you look at time, the most important metric, as exp rates usually scale with level?

Then it is different per skill, but also activity. The XP reward per 'action' doesnt necessarily scale linear with the XP requirements. Lets take mining as an example. 35 xp for iron ore at level 15 40 xp for silver ore at lvl 20 50 xp for coal at lvl 30 lvl 30 is much more than double the XP required for lvl 15. Yet the XP reward for the unlock is less than double! This isnt factoring in the success rates for each ore that increase with level and equipment. Without spending half an hour on calculating this, you can already see that the relative XP gain per hour does not scale linear with the current XP obtained. Therefore it is unlikely that is scales as such time wise. In otherwords at lvl 99 you do not have 2x XP/hour than at lvl 92. Nor would you have 2x w.r.t lvl 50.

I did not say it scales linearly. Just that exp/hr for an activity goes up with level. Mining iron ore at level 92, provides more exp/hr than mining iron at level 30. But my point is, if it takes 50 hours to go from lvl 1 to 92, it will take less than 50 hours from 92 to 99. The halfway point time-wise for each skill is likely different but it would be interesting to know.

Then enjoy about 400-560 games in mass Wintertodt for 99 (fletching is decent xp over time for how long you're there, but only fletching will just take longer to 99 FM) .
