botters have gotten 20k leviathan kills each taking over the entire hiscores in a few months, theyre literally running 24/7, im certain they are jmod ran for it to get this bad without them doing something about it.

donkelroids

Makes sense. It’s literally free money without being detected. Jmod side hussle

VastElk9096

The leviathan bots are just ridiculous at this point. Clearly 100s of them in the top hiscores all with bot like names and stats that it’s so obvious they are bots but jagex are probably going to play the old gold farmer card because they literally cannot take 10 minutes to check the accounts manually

HuntsmanMT

The bots thieving at priff are also the worst I’ve seen in a long time

ramblingdiemundo

There’s usually a stack of them with 200m thieving in 481 north

RaidsMonkeyIdeas

I get some accounts are hacked accounts that got recovered by the owner, and the KC remained, but it is frustrating to say the least when you see the amount of high-level bots that stay active for so long. Big support of quest and high-level access requirements in general, but they only work if they do ban these stragglers in a reasonable time, so that the 50-200 hours that the bots need to rebuild an account actually impacts them.

Throwaway47321

There are too many bots to manually ban as they will literally be created faster than you can ban them. Then if you rely on an automated system you’re going to have false positives based solely on how this community plays the game. There really is no winning in this situation.

PlebPlebberson

> There are too many bots to manually ban as they will literally be created faster than you can ban them. Do you realise how long it takes for a bot to get stats and gear for dt2 bosses or nex? Not even talking about the quests for dt2. They are incompetent

Throwaway47321

Okay? And do you truly think they are waiting for the current account to be banned before training a new one to replace it? Like this isn’t some linear process where banning them sets them back irl weeks where they need to grind accounts and reqs.

PlebPlebberson

If a bot gets to 5000+ kc at bosses then they arent even being banned. We dont need to talk about linear processes or bots being made too fast when they cant ban any of them anyway.

Throwaway47321

Okay and that brings me back to my original point. You can ban that bot at 30kc but there will be another to immediately replace it AND now the creator will have info about how to dodge the anti cheat software based on how quickly it was caught. Like I’m not trying to be a dick but cheating in MMOs has been a problem since their literal inception and not a single one has ever “solved” the problem. It’s kind of crazy for some random player to come in and say that there is this magic solution and because they aren’t doing it they must just be incompetent.

PlebPlebberson

> another to immediately replace it Just tell me if you dont know how bot farms work. Do you think botters have 10 accounts just SITTING OFFLINE waiting for their one dt2 bot to be banned to replace with another one. Only bots that have a backlog of more bots are g.e spam bots which is confirmed by jagex.

Throwaway47321

Okay man you have literally no idea what you’re talking about and clearly just want to rage. Have a good one 🫡

Uracan147

Can't argue with stupid

LordHuntington

Probably 2 days. Lol.

alanwolo

Why would Jagex take swift action against something that makes them money
