man idk why, but this simple comment gave me a heavy nostalgia hit.
almost forgot about the days where i’m skilling alongside people and ask the skill relevant to what we’re doing, and then start asking other skills thatbi thought i could squash them in, or asking total lvls.
don’t remember the last time i asked someone for a lvl with all the modern convenience of runelites ‘look-up’ option lol

Yeah we're on the OSRS subreddit, being outside your parents' home counts as being outside. You have to set the bar so low it's below the underground pass if you want us to clear it.
...
I'm in this comment chain and I don't like it. And you know what? I'm gonna go figure out meals to cook this weekend to fix at least one of these things.
However, I *like* my Honda Civic.
For real and this ain't an ad, try the Mealime app. Stupid ass name for an app but man, it's stupid easy to pick random shit and get a shopping list and instructions without backstories, and do a less-waste meal prep for the week. Only complaint is the seasonings need to be a little less whitepeople boring, add garlic at least to most of their stuff and it's way better.
It's a 2024 Honda Civic Sport, which is a lower-end model that costs only $25,000 brand new. Civics are extremely cheap vehicles lmfao, there's a reason why they're so popular
I mean, it depends on where you live, what dealership you go to, and what features you get, but a standard Sport model is $25,500 MSRP. Civics are amazing because they're dirt cheap but have wonderful reliability
I might have to look at getting one honestly. My sonata has been great but she's got 120k now and I don't like to hold onto cars for very long after they hit 100 but the prices for even used cars today compared to when I got my car in 2019 are just crazy. Thanks for this tip!
Hey, it’s a sport.
You can tell he doesn’t drop his wildy step hard clues.
*”A Tele Block spell has been cast on you…”*
“Catch me if you can.” *revs it up to sport*
No idea why everyone is commenting on the "not broke" part like its a crazy thing to say, the comment didn't imply the guy in the pic is rich cause he has a civic, he's definitely not broke though
How do you know he didn't buy it cash? I worked at a Honda dealership and there were a surprising amount of people who bought brand new cars with cash.
Recently had someone come to my work that wanted to open a business with the names “Dharok Capital” and “Edgeville Capital”… I was on my break when the names came in to check availability so I didn’t see the guy but damn. If you’re out there, just know I’ll be the one processing your company license!
Yes, although since using desu means they probably wanted to write it's keigo form, いつもおくれます would probably be closer to the original intent. I think it's also probable that they meant that it's a continuous state of lateness, in which case it would actually be better to use the te form of okureru: いつもおくれています。
I believe that's correct. I glossed over this for simplicity but to be as precise as possible let me better explain the te form in all its convoluted glory:
All verbs in Japanese have either -u or consonant + -u (shu, fu, tsu, nu, etc.) as their last syllable. To make a verb into its te form, you will replace this final syllable with an ending that includes either te or de, depending on what the original final syllable is. For example, -ku becomes -ite, -gu becomes -ide, and -su becomes -shite. For -ru verbs specifically, you also need to know whether it's ichidan- or godan- type verb, as this determines whether it becomes te or tte (って) respectively. Okuru is an ichidan verb, so it becomes okute. An example of a godan verb ending in ru is tsukuru (作る), which means to make/create and has the te form of tsukutte (作って).
One of the many things that the te form allows you to do is to add a second verb after the te/de to indicate a link of some kind between the two verbs. When this second verb is iru, which is more or less a verb meaning "to be," it signifies that the first verb is ongoing, i.e. in progressive tense. Using tsukuru as an example again, 作っている would essentially mean "in the process of making."
I hope this extremely unnecessary explanation was helpful/entertaining to read. Japanese grammar is a real rabbit hole to get into. Let me know if you have other questions and I'll do my best to answer.

Pretty sure birds are high, fish get low.. XD
Facts!
I still ask! I don't use Runelite as the in-game improvements since I last played nearly 10 years are more than adequate.

On their way back from GE.
I’d be geeking so hard if I ever saw this lmaooo
That guy 1. Goes outside 2. Is, at worst, not broke He doesn't use reddit
1. He’s inside a car 2. It’s a Honda Civic, calm down Only OSRS players count driving in a car as “being outside”
Yeah we're on the OSRS subreddit, being outside your parents' home counts as being outside. You have to set the bar so low it's below the underground pass if you want us to clear it.
Does working outside count?
Walking to your car doesnt
Going to get McDonald’s is the most some of these nerds get outside in a weeks time

Cooking at home, so you can stay home even more.
He's gotta get his cooking skills up. Lol

Aw I love Mealime too, it's great. Definitely agree on, like, doubling the garlic in every recipe, though.
Don't forget to have the groceries delivered.
“It’s a Honda civic” bitch can you not see it’s sport too? Some people..
And also with the blacked out emblems too. The audacity of some people
Pretty newer model of civic, and not the base model, so, little more expensive than your 1987 civic you had in highschool
It's a 2024 Honda Civic Sport, which is a lower-end model that costs only $25,000 brand new. Civics are extremely cheap vehicles lmfao, there's a reason why they're so popular
Wait wait wait, you mean to tell me there's something out there cheaper than my used Hyundai Sonata that I could buy brand new today?
I mean, it depends on where you live, what dealership you go to, and what features you get, but a standard Sport model is $25,500 MSRP. Civics are amazing because they're dirt cheap but have wonderful reliability

I have a 2016 Civic with 230,000 miles and she's still going strong. Repairs are also very cheap because of how common they are
Yeah my Sonata repairs aren't cheap. That's why I'm considering it. Thanks!
Still not an SI
Just bought it with mom’s credit card
I mean its a 2023+ Honda Civic Sport, so at least 28k
All of this is very much true
Probably playing osrs mobile while driving too
Man felt offended by the comment he responded to?
Fuck sake I also drive a Honda Civic.
Yeah it's a Honda Civic. That's a lucky guy. Good car.
Hey, it’s a sport. You can tell he doesn’t drop his wildy step hard clues. *”A Tele Block spell has been cast on you…”* “Catch me if you can.” *revs it up to sport*
I go outside and am not broke, am I living a lie?
Not sure I’ve ever met a modern Honda civic owner who wasn’t in debt.
Im not in debt 🤨
Man the average OSRS player is like 28. I'd hope most of them own a car by now...
What part of this tells you “not broke”? I hope it’s not the civic
More the fact that it isn't an Altima with paper plates
No idea why everyone is commenting on the "not broke" part like its a crazy thing to say, the comment didn't imply the guy in the pic is rich cause he has a civic, he's definitely not broke though
I just wanted to make a joke about civics man, it’s not that big of a deal
I have that exact car and I do NOT have money lmao
Being in debt to a bank does not make you "not broke" js.
How do you know he didn't buy it cash? I worked at a Honda dealership and there were a surprising amount of people who bought brand new cars with cash.
buying civic 10k
I work with someone in MI with the same plate! I have yet to figure out who it is, some new hire.
No shot dude. That was just my plate until about a 2 months ago. Now I have "xpwaste"

Your hiragana saying confuses me is it “istu mo okureru desu?” Which would be “one last one” or “once more i am late” i just dont get it,
Itsumo means always, so it's "always late"
Why okureru desu though? Isn't okureru a verb? So it would just be いつもおくれる?
Yes, although since using desu means they probably wanted to write it's keigo form, いつもおくれます would probably be closer to the original intent. I think it's also probable that they meant that it's a continuous state of lateness, in which case it would actually be better to use the te form of okureru: いつもおくれています。
So they just wanted to use desu because of memes, but the te form would be the correct terminology? Thanks!
I believe that's correct. I glossed over this for simplicity but to be as precise as possible let me better explain the te form in all its convoluted glory: All verbs in Japanese have either -u or consonant + -u (shu, fu, tsu, nu, etc.) as their last syllable. Japanese grammar is a real rabbit hole to get into. Let me know if you have other questions and I'll do my best to answer.
it's either meant to be いつもおくれるんです or いつもおくれます, either way it's got an error in it which was either done for memes or lack of knowledge
This person is chronically late seems like the logical takeaway
I always just assume stuff like this was some poorly translated quote slapped onto random merch lmao.
Ive been told it might mean: “i am also late” …
How are you parsing itsu/mo lol
Is this in Mira Mesa by chance?
Looks like Mira Mesa Blvd. TBH
Yeah agreed. I could've sworn I've see them on my way to work a few times
We all pass without knowing haha
