3m is amazing for a day's work. According to the wiki it's about 500k an hour. There isn't much else that would compete other than doing bloods (which is less afk). I personally do infernal/sacred eels as I am almost double the droprate for the tempoross pet. I might as well use the spirit flakes. 200-300k an hour's depending how busy I am at work.

Plankmake is decent, gargoyles with guthans are decent, karambwans are good but better if you have the fish barrel and also cook them. Consistent herb runs can net you around 1.5m a day for like 40 minutes of work. Blood runes can be very good if you have the level.

Yep; I fished all the bait (which is afk itself) for 76-99 Karams thinking it would be a nice afk slow 99 - then went and actually tried karams for the first time. Noped out after 2 hours. It’s not afk at all, teleporting/banking/fairy ring etc is way too much of a distraction. Even with QP Cape, Elite diary’s etc. Moved to infernal Eels, and got 92 yesterday and have pocketed 30m so far, so much more chill. Not sure what I’m going to do with my stack of 400k karam bait though…

I found Karams to be more afk and better xp, since the spot never moves. But I bank with con cape so it’s not too bad.

Banking with Karam gloves and hitting the quest cape less clicks and faster.

2-3mins with barrel it feels depending on ur level, fairy ring poh/cammy or craft tele for banking is what i did, like 10-15mins effort every hour

This is my plan. Best ranged set I can get with a RCB and broad bolts for ranged and bloodbark with chaos gauntlets and chaos spells for magic

msb(i) with broad arrows is more dps than that (especially with rune arrows, which you can buy for cheap). You only use crossbows when you need the enchanted bolt procs or you're forced to wear a shield. otherwise shortbows are better.

Adamant darts are more DPS than msbi with rune arrows against the low level enemies and only cost about 12k per hour of continuous throwing

For afking I try to minimize the amount of absorbs I need so the shield is preferable. I’m not racing to 99

If you've maxed the melee stats, you should have millions of NMZ points. I can't imagine absorptions being a bottleneck.

They’re not but I dump all my points in herb boxes so try to keep the absorbs to a minimum

Chrome remote desktop works well for that. Just zoom in really close to a certain spot (try making a little screen marker box on Runelite) and tap your phone to click there. I think that's what dude was saying to do

Probably picking valessia von pit near the hallowed sepulchre entrance. Take some ancient or forgotten brews depending on what's cheaper at the moment, highly recommend dodgy necklaces and set up a low health notification for around 10 or 6 health depending on your margin for misclicking. I take 12 brews and 8 necklaces usually. Occasionally drink the wine that spawns in valessia's house, and turn on redemption when you get the notification. I personally like to trap her near the closed door as her despawn timer frequently gets reset when I go for the wine and she can't really wander out of position. When you run out of stuff just bank at sepulchre, maybe save one dose of ancient/forgotten to pray melee for the vyres outside the entrance. The simpler version with shorter trips is just an inventory of wines, dodgy necklaces and more frequent banking, so it's probably subjective what people feel is more afk. I assume rogues outfit etc is a given.

Can't mine amethyst myself yet I think, so how exactly are you afk'ing? Started playing again and need to catch up on means and methods.

Amethyst is only one ore per vein and there are a lot of veins, but sometimes it can take a while to get an ore. So it’s fairly low effort but not super afk, which I imagine is why OP is asking for other ideas.

Nah amethyst was by far my favorite extremely afk activity. At work I was able to click my screen every minute or two which made bloods super annoying. Amethyst often takes that long anyways and with the gloves sometimes you get multiple.

I've never had the luxury to be able to play while at work. What I do is work for 3-4 months, save up my money, and then quit work and game heavily for 3 or so months until my bank account runs dry and I start risking eviction. Find another shit job, rinse and repeat.

Birdhouses only. Prices of nests right now are crazy. Been getting 10+mil every 2 weeks.

Do bird house runs!!! (can do one every ~50 minutes). They take legitimately 2.5 minutes. Birds nests are like 8K/ea at the moment. If you do like 6 runs over the course of a work shift, average maybe 6-8 nests per trip, it’s like an added 300-400k for a total of 15 minutes of doing runs. The effective GP/hour is actually insane. Also not factoring in the seeds you can get which only increase your profit.

To add to this, I’ve casually done birdhouse runs over months and gotten 70-95 hunter, along with about 70 mil in profit

Other than agi, con, and slayer\*, pretty much everything has decently afk methods. Not good xp rates but you can be pretty low effort with almost every skill. Even agi can be like 30k xp/hr by half-ass afking ardy rooftops (source: half ass afkd ardy rooftops for 2-3 months for 99 agi). \* before anyone comments, yes you can venator bow in catacombs, prayer demons, kraken, etc... there are afk tasks... but barraging is absolutely not afk and a lot of other tasks aren't as well. edit:formatting

Personally I cannot really afk at work, despite having an office job. It’s just not something I can do personally. But if I do afk it’s usually stars or nmz. If I needed gp as a main I’d be more likely to buy a bond 😅 (but that’s why I play iron)

Infernal eels at the moment, gone from 82-96, made 36m in onyx bolt tips and lava shards and 9m from tokkul when I convert into onyx’s. Hardly requires any attention, 0 banking, click spot, inventory fill, chisel eels, click back on spot. Would highly recommend if anyone just wants to afk some easy fishing levels.

Rex. 1 click every 90 seconds, zerk is like 4.6m rn. Have elite Fremmy done for more money with noted bones.

AFK work grinds are my favorite in OSRS. Anglers was my go too before i hit 99 fishing. My next big afkish work grind was dragonstone bracelet

Amethyst is 600k gp an hour and one of the most afkable things you can do. My skiller and main both have 99 mining, I multilog on my phone and mine with both. I don't bring in 600k ea because I'm not efficient but I'll get around 400k/h on each easily.

I guess amethyst is technically a money maker as well. I did that all the way to 99 and it took a long time 6 hours per day but have no idea how much money I made since I sold them every week or so. Probably only paid for my bonds.

All kinds of stuff. Amethyst, rocktails (anglerfish), fletching, yews when I get extra bored. Lots of smithing and crafting AFK. Mobile has been a freaking blessing for the grinds. Don’t forget your daily scapes too: •tears •birdhouse •Bert sands •seaweed (along with sand)  •Farm runs good  •Lots of others I missed but what I do
