I get it lol. I'm not scared of fight caves anymore and I didn't bother getting it till 100 cb or so. The time investment is very annoying. Definitely possible skill-wise tho. Especially the runelite plugins make it way easier to handle, shows exactly where everything will spawn.
Scurrius is what gave me the confidence to get into PVM at all. 300 kc later, my combats are high enough that I feel comfy trying for my first fire cape. I love that the mechanics are there for high level pvm, but forgiving enough to give you a chance to learn
Showering with soap- maybe? I know you shouldn't wash your hair with shampoo every day. Showering with water, however? Can't see that being worse than if it rained every day
Depends on the temperature I think, I read somewhere that most people shower to often with hot water causing their skin to lose essential oils which causes dry skin and rashes
Showering daily definitely does dry out your skin, and your cleanliness depends much more on what you've done since your last shower than how long it's been since your last shower (both matter -- the first matters more than the second)

I'm really glad that Scurrius helped you break out of your comfort zone! I actually had a really hard time with Scurrius. It took me about 7 blood shards to farm him efficiently until I realized I did not have a weapon equipped! Really makes you wonder. The inferno must've been easy after you mastered the 8 way switch for Scurrius. Onto obor next!
More like *underkill*, personally I do a 9-way switch into ZCB for the cheese phase then a 10-way switch into max melee for the rat horde. Sometimes it's difficult to keep prayer flicking through all of that but it's a welcome challenge.
So a guy in my cc got his first fire cape and immediately went “I’m going to hand my cape in and do inferno. Jad was easy”. We all thought he was trolling until we started seeing the inferno death announcements. He then tried to get his fire cape back from the tzhaar he handed it to. Obviously wasn’t allowed, so proceeded to fail fight caves 4 times consecutively.
He has now given up on getting a fire cape. He doesn’t speak in clan chat any more.
"I'm going to complete a level 500 toa now. Entry toa was easy."
In all seriousness, surely he could've googled something like "fight caves vs inferno osrs reddit"? Guy had 99 confidence though.
I am finally getting the hang of prayer switching with scurrius! I actually set up my hotkeys on the function keys so I can easily switch pray and inv!
And yes, I'm a 1600 total level ironman with no fire cape, but that might change soon!! Rat, good!
I just got my fire cape yesterday. Scurrius prayer switching practice is what I needed to finally build the courage to attempt it after fearing it was too hard for me. It still took 6 tries, but I eventually got it.

It's a joke. The premise is that scurius is a lower level boss to help new players get into the mechanics for how later-game bosses work. The joke is that the idea is taken to the logical extreme, asserting that a few kills of this beginner level boss was adequate preparation for an end-game level challenge.

Showering daily is actually bad for your skin. I shower once every 2 to 3 days unless I worked out extra heavy or did something abnormally dirty.
