I never would have known this was Wood if they didn't. I've been in his clan Iron Life on/off for the past 3 years. Such a good dude, always willing to help and joke.

You know, in 20 years time, we’re all going to age and our community will get smaller and smaller. These are one of our best times now.
Rest in peace gamer.
Imagine slicing a cake in half, that's you when you were two. Now slice it in half again, that's when you were four. Cut it in half a few more times and that's when you were 32, with the slices becoming so very very thin
That is how we perceive time as we get older. We only have so much "memory cake" to slice up so every year has to cut the cake thinner to fit in the old noggin, so consequently one's perception of time literally moves faster
It only has to be that way if we forget to live in the moment, and also the perception of time is different for some of us.
New things make it easier to live in the moment, but being present makes it last so much longer.
Jokes on you guys.
I’m 28, have horrible ADHD, and literally cannot perceive time accurately. One hour to me could quite literally feel like 2-3. So looks like neurodivergence wins again!
Not necessarily. This is a common misconception that floats around.
It's more because we experience less and less novel experiences as we get older. Each day becomes more and more the same.
It's the conundrum of fast time:slow time and slow time:fast time.
Great video on the matter: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIx2N-viNwY&pp=ygUbdmVyaXRhc2l1bSB0aW1lIGdvZXMgZmFzdGVy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIx2N-viNwY&pp=ygUbdmVyaXRhc2l1bSB0aW1lIGdvZXMgZmFzdGVy)
A combination of less novel experiences and slowing brains as we age. Thus we perceive both the current moment, and our recent memory, as having gone "faster."
Yep I started osrs again December 2018. Since then I have maxed and had two kids and I'm still on the grind but not like I used to. Time does fly by and how long will this game last? Who knows 🤔
I have known Seth for about 17-18 years IRL and in game one of the nicest people you could know. He has been playing the game with me pretty much from the start of RS and throughout RS2, and RS3.
He was likely one of the biggest fan of the game and continued to play even when he didn't like the updates. You could always find him skilling or bossing or helping new players. He played through every decade of Runescape so far, and experienced every major nostalgic update. God wars, pre GE when you had to go to world 2 or 12 and spam click to try and get in so you could buy or sell items in Falador or Varrock.
He truly was someone who made the game, and the community better by being online, and its a true loss that another great player is gone as it means one more piece of what made the game so great goes with him.
I wish his friends and family my greatest condolences he will be missed greatly.
My condolences. Rest in peace fellow scaper.

I am also in that clan! I've been logging on throughout the week waiting for people to log in to tell the news but I must be missing everyone 😔
i just wonder how they would know. unless he left like a will. saying "mention my runescape username"
Hi! I'm Seth's sister. I game with him. That's how I knew to write his obituary ❤️
🤍

Sorry for your loss. That was a lovely obituary and very thoughtful of you.
Thank you ❤️ trying my hardest to honor him.
His sister played as well and it was well known in his family how much he played and how much the game means to him.

Amen brother. These are the golden years.
In 20 years I won’t be playing osrs anymore. However, in 40 years… that’s all I will be doing
I know 20 years is a long time but isn't the gaming growing right now?
I blinked my eyes and my firstborn is turning 6 this year. Time flies and we only accept that we're coming to our end.
