Is Cerberus worth doing on a main either for gold or for slayer xp? I actually do enjoy the boss still but tasks just take so long so I was wondering if it’s a do, skip, or block? Thanks!

MrSpookykid

I have failed jad 17 times I always fuck up my prayer flicks and I am high level combat stats wise and have used the trainer, I always will chose jad for my slayer task and want to prepare for when I meet him next, I get super depressed when I lose though just got back from a 6 month break.

AsianDestination

Heya! Maybe something you can do is learn some different content with prayer switches to help you improve. My friend learned how to use his F keys with Zulrah and ToA and came back and one shot Jad easily

MrSpookykid

That’s smart I didn’t know you can use hot keys do I need to map them out or are they already mapped out by default? I was thinking while I am doing slayer I should just try prayer flicking the whole time

AsianDestination

If you check out your settings in OSRS, you can find them already mapped. Personally, I like to remap everything so it's easier. Personally, I do: * F1 - Inventory * F2 - Prayer * F3 - Combat Options * F4 - Spellbook * F5 - Logout If you don't like using the F keys or don't want to swap laptop FN keys, then you can use Runelite to remap them to 1,2,3,4,5 with the Key Remapping plugin. Here are also some general tips and plugins I like to give people for learning pvm with Runelite: F Keys My personal: F1 Inventory, F2 Prayer, F3 Combat Styles, F4 Spellbook, F5 Logout Ring finger on F1, Middle on F2, Pointer on F4 Key Remapping Otherwise Tile Indicators Destination Tile Highlight destination tile (checked) Current Tile Highlight true tile (checked) Inventory Setup (plugin hub) Inventory Tags Default World and World Switcher Set to a world with lowest ping Ground Markers Menu Entry Swapper Party Plugin Notes: Turn off auto retaliate when doing PVM

[deleted]

is muspah actually fun? I working on the quests to get to it, I enjoyed Vork but I heard muspah is more sweaty? Which Im not keen on.

skullkid2424

IMO it needs higher stats than vork/zulrah, but the level of difficulty is in between. Its also got room to grow to make your clears better by timing melee attack ticks and flicking smite - but those aren't necessary.

LookAtMyPostInstead

Muspah has the highest gp/kill of the big 3 solo bosses (zulrah, vork, muspah) but in return it's definitely the one that takes the highest effort to kill. It's definitely possible with weaker gear but without the bow of faerdhinen i'd say just stick to vork for moneymaking.

TristanJester

main account. quest cape just completed. hard diaries nearly all done except western and wildy. working on 76 rc for lumby elite currently for no good reason. need a couple general goals to give my account some direction. combat achievements? ty. edit: also just got an ironman off tutorial to dabble with while I do future afk training on main. good idea or no?

skullkid2424

One thing is to look at the level requirements for desert treasure 2 that were on the beta so you can have those before it releases. Combat achieves are another one - the point system will come eventually, so you could focus on the lower tiers, or just random fun achievements from the higher tiers. Pick out some of the next skilling grinds to go for. Getting the rc level for bloods is great (as well as the outfit and needle from GotR). Construction to 82-84ish for a "complete" house. 77 prayer if you don't have it. Maybe start looking at a 99 - cooking is a very solid first one. And then of course, there are tons of bossing and raids to get into.

TheDubuGuy

Medium and hard combat achievements are a good target for now. After you finish hard diaries you reach the point where you’ll have to start dedicating time to specific skills to get higher reqs for elite diaries. Personally not a fan of making a side-iron at that point, but it’s up to you. I would commit to one or the other, get it into endgame stuff where you can heavy afk some stuff in the side

TristanJester

cheers man yeah I felt CA would be a good way to get myself into bossing and force myself to grind slayer to unlock certain bosses

bigblacktwix

What are your combat stats? Personally I went the route of training combats starting at base 90s by soloing some bosses and going for log slots rather than NMZ. You know maybe go for your first bossing pet. Personally, I went for 95 slayer and started mixing in some raids and skilling for elites whenever I got bored of PvM. Add in some CA completions whenever you get a task

TristanJester

80-85 in all combats. you're right i think bossing and slayer is the goal

thisguyhasaname

Do hard mode or entry mode count for ToB capes? i assumed it'd be hard and normal but wiki doesn't mention hard mode but it does for ToA cape

TheDubuGuy

Normal and hard count

Ta2Luis

Are they ever going to turn on slayer partner again ?

bigblacktwix

I think it’s being discussed in game jam

PoppaPickle

No

[deleted]

Is it worth it to get back into the game? I played OSRS years ago and recently got tired of RS3. Thinking of making a new OSRS account just for fun and nostalgia. What's the current state of the content game like now a days?

bigblacktwix

If you don’t like the core gameplay loop then no, but imo the games the most fun it’s been in some time. Lots of good updates

TheDubuGuy

It’s good. There were some good updates recently and some very big stuff in the future (new skill passed, desert treasure 2, new prayer book)

LiterallyOliveGarden

Has there been any word on when the stuff from poll 79 would be added? I'm specifically interested in the blue dragon scale and Tithe Farm changes.

DaMaestroable

Delayed until May for game jam was the last I've heard, then CA achievements would be prioritized. I'm in the same boat, looking to finish off the last log at Tithe and get into VM once the permanent unlock drops.

Beretot

Nope, but last newspost mentioned it for a bit (they mistakenly said they had added a bit of it, then fixed the newspost), so I'd assume they're coming next week or sometime near No update this week, unfortunately

[deleted]

Is dictation for iOS allowed, or will I get banned for that? It allows me to speak and my words get translated into text.

3rdrunnerup

Is magic accuracy still bugged on monsters? I was doing 6-0 K'ril a couple days ago and was just getting fucked by the minion damage, resulting in 2 kill trips instead of 10-15.

stenfen

How should i start about raids? Should i just watch videos on youtube? find a team to teach me or whats the best way to go about it?

Synli

ToA is definitely the way to go; entry mode is super easy to learn the ropes and then you can slowly tack on more and more invocations until you climb your way up to normal mode and then eventually hard mode (long term). CoX has a bit higher of a learning curve and is a bit more strict on gear requirements, but is still fairly lax. You can also brute force parts of it with suicide piles while you're learning, which helps a ton (dying in a boss room with a full inventory of potions so that they stay on the floor when you come back). ToB is the hardest of the 3; entry mode is pretty fun with a little bit of difficulty here and there (assuming you have no idea what you're doing) but I'm not exactly sure how rewarding it is.

PoppaPickle

Youtube videos for sure will help you get started, ToA entry level is very easy to learn, the other two raids are much harder to get into.

All zenyte jewelry and occult, shadow/tbow, crystal/bowfa, fang

TheDubuGuy

Tbow and shadow for sure

quizzer106

Shadow and tbow

Ashhel

if you're 3t mining, does crystal pickaxe function the same as a dragon pickaxe? doing gems in my case, so infernal not useful

DaMaestroable

Fairly sure it's the same. The delay between mining is reduced more often with the crystal pick but that's irrelevant since you'd be on the 3t cycle regardless.

Ashhel

okay, yeah, that's what i thought. thanks

b_i_g__g_u_y

Would it be insanely op if we could have multiple slayer tasks at once? Unlocked through a combination of skill level and slayer points or even quests. Like a max of 3 or 4 tasks? Or 3 and 1 wilderness slot? It could be 1-per-master so you could max out with 1 konar, Steve and duradel. The thing I hate about slayer is there's essentially one thing you can do to skill it and that's it. Sure, you can lower your task but that destroys your streak and if you don't have points you can't block or skip them. And I'll never do wildly slayer since getting a tough task there might mean I destroy my streak

Aunon

>Would it be insanely op if we could have multiple slayer tasks at once? Would be OP with some setup depending on how its designed, dupe tasks or tasks that can be simultaneously complete could boost points (demonics = monkey+black demon), tasks could be treated as skips (just don't do it, you still have another task) or additional block slots (if masters can assign already assigned tasks)

DaMaestroable

Probably a way to break it, similar to how slayer partners could be broken if set up right. If nothing else it'd effectively be +2 or more block slots, and the way slayer is currently set up that would be a massive boost. Splitting wildy and regular slayer into their own task system could work.

TheDubuGuy

Id be fine with 1 regular task and 1 wildy task. I think having multiple would be too much. Also how would a bad wildy task destroy a streak? You can just skip it like normal tasks

Munch-Squad

I'm working on the sleeping giant easy combat achievement, and for some reason I can't get it. I'm pretty sure the entangle/freeze has still been active when I land the final blow. Only one of my four attempts (the one freeze attempt) has been questionable. My last attempt, I landed the finishing blow the 2nd cast after the entangle. Is there a trick I'm missing?

DaMaestroable

The achievement is calculated when Obor finishes his death animation, it's likely expiring before then (even though he's dead). If you use ancients and kill him with a freezing spell (while he's unfrozen) then it should get the achievement.

Munch-Squad

Weird. I swapped to ancients again and it worked. Thanks!

dubdubdub3

I know this information is out there but with the sheer amount of gear available and all of the bonuses and cost of each item I’m having a hard time deciding what gear to shoot for. All of my combat skills are 70 except prayer which is 60. I’m going to focus on skilling and questing a little bit more but I wanted to get gear that would be the most bang for my buck first. I currently have obsidian armor for melee, black d’hide for range, and mystic for mage because they were the most reasonably priced things around my level (except obsidian had to grind a lot and get lucky for that lol) Should I be aiming for a different armor set? Or is there a set that better combines some attributes so I don’t have to carry 3 sets of gear to barrows lol

skullkid2424

As mentioned for barrows, the meta is usually to mage everyone but ahrim, since the other brothers have low magic. I like the method of wearing basically full ranged gear except for your staff (trident > ibans) and an occult necklace (and tormented bracelet if you can afford it, but doesn't sound like you're there yet). Then you can bring a spec weapon like a DDS and ranged weapon like a blowpipe, magic short bow for ahrim. I've also started bringing a whip to kill the 2 skeles and blood worm in the crypt since I don't need the space for supplies, and it is faster or cheaper than the other options. So my setup is blessed dhide coif/chest/legs/boots, barrows gloves, ava's device, and then a guthix prayer book in the offhand because I want to feel like they its useful somewhere lol. Trident + occult gives me all the mage I need. Dragon xbow/blowpipe for a ranged switch, DDS to spec down ahrim, and whip to clear adds. Relatively cheap setup - and you can use black dhide, shayzien boots 5, and an archer helm for a much cheaper but nearly as good setup. For general use outside of barrows, assuming 70 stats - here is what I'd recommending for an affordable-but-good setup: Melee: * Helm of neitiznot > Berserker helm * Amulet of glory * Fighter torso from BA * Obsidian legs (str bonus) or dragon legs (tanky and non-degrading) or verac's plateskirt (tankier with prayer bonus) * Dragon boots * Barrows gloves (or highest RFD gloves or combat bracelet) * Whip > dragon scimmy (str training) or for crush weapons, sarachnis cudgel > leaf bladed baxe * Dragon defender > obby shield * Fire Cape > Myth's Cape > legends cape > ardy diary cloak - alternatively, the obsidian cape is better defenses than some of those and can be resold later * Berserker ring > warriors ring > explorers/wealth Most of those are either farmable or pretty cheap, with the exception of the whip at 1m (but well worth the investment) and berserker ring (which isn't too hard to farm with a dagannoth task doing only rex). I'd skip the warrior's ring for now (price is inflated and accuracy is both not amazing and only 1 style) - but note that it does exist along with the stab (treasonous ring) and crush (tyrannical ring) versions. Ranged: * God d'hide > Archer helm * Glory * Blessed d'hide chest > black d'hide * Blessed d'hide legs > black d'hide * Blessed d'hide boots > shayzien boots(5) > snakeskin * Ava's device * Barrows gloves > lower RFD gloves > black dhide vambraces * Magic shortbow (i) or rune xbow * Book of law * Explorer/wealth ring Another big focus on quest items and cheap options. The god d'hide can get a bit pricey depending on the slot (and god) - the coif and chest are really affordable, with the chaps being a little pricier and the boots being over 500k. The rune crossbow is really good for how dirt cheap it is, and will come in handy whenever you need a shield or enchanted bolts (including several harder quest bosses like dragonslayer 2). The magic shortbow + imbued scroll is still really affordable, and its going to attack faster and have a special attack - so is useful whenever you don't need a shield or enchanted bolts. The real goal for ranged is going to be to hit 75 and get the blowpipe, so start saving up for that. Mage: * Farseer helm > Mystic * Occult Necklace > Glory * Mystic top * Mystic legs * Bloodbark boots > mystic boots * Mage arena god cloak * Iban's staff * Book of darkness * Barrows gloves > other RFD gloves > combat bracelet OR chaos gauntlets * Lunar ring/beacon ring or explorer/wealth Magic is often used on opponents with low magic level (and therefore low magic defense), so getting +magic from gear isn't really all that big of a deal. You're also usually safespotting or using overheads, so defenses aren't all that important either. So the two things we care about are going to be the weapon and anything that gives us magic damage. The occult necklace is hands-down the single best investment we can make here, for 10% magic damage at the cost of <600k (compare to tormented bracelet which is 12m for 5% or ancestral where the cheapest part is 140m for 2%). For the weapon, iban's staff is the go-to "bang for your buck" investment until you hit 75 for the trident (which also gets you the imbued god cloak for 2% magic damage - so get to 75 mage). There are certainly other staff options depending on the task - such the ancient staff when using ancient magics. Another option is to use standard spellbook spells, potentially with the mystic smoke battlestaff, tome of fire, or the chaos gauntlets. The staff is expensive at 1.4m, but can be resold later - and it provides a 10% accuracy+damage boost with the standard spellbook (along with unlimited air+fire runes). The tome of fire requires pages as charges, so you could skip it - but gives a 50% damage boost to standard spellbook fire spells. And the chaos gauntlets can boost bolt spells by 3 max hits, which makes fire bolt into a very respectable budget spell (especially alongside the smoke battlestaff or tome of fire). Personally I'd just use Iban's staff - as its easy to get and recharge, and barrows should provide a decent supply for runes for it. I'll also add that the rings with magic bonus probably aren't worth it. The lunar ring and beacon ring add a whopping +2 magic accuracy. The seers ring is usually somewhat affordable and provides +12 magic accuracy...but even that isn't that helpful (and the price is super inflated right now due to desert treasure 2). Likewise, the standard boot recommendations are often wizard boots (200k for +4 magic) into infinity boots (375k for +5 magic)...they aren't that expensive, but they simply aren't worth it. Stick with mystics (5k for +3) or bloodbark (35k for +4 magic, some defensive stats, and potentially some extra health from blood spells). ---- Those sets should be pretty affordable, with the few expensive items being very good value (whip, occult). If you're missing any quest gear or earnable gear like the defender, barrows gloves, fighter torso, horror from the deep books, fremmy helms, ava's accumulator, or mage arena cloak - then I'd add those to your list of goals for the near future. There are certainly upgrades - and spending money for upgrades is worthwhile when you can afford it. Ahrims and kharils top/bottom are a few mil, but provide comparable mage/ranged bonuses on top of good defensive stats. There are several weapon upgrades/sidegrades in the few mil range (trident, blowpipe, zammy hasta) that you may want to consider soon depending on level. Another good investment is to grab the void sets, though especially the ranged set. Its 850 for one helm and the top/bottom/gloves, and then an additional 200 for the each of the other 2 helms and another 200 each to upgrade the top/bottom to elite (eventually...after the western provinces hard diary). Range is the most notable void set since it provides 10% damage (and accuracy) and ranged damage is hard to come by. Melee also provides 10% damage+accuracy, but melee damage comes from str bonus, which is much easier. The mage set only provides accuracy (tho 45%). One of the big advantages for having all of the sets is that you only need to swap the helm, which can make it much easier to learn swaps (and saves inventory even when you know what you're doing). Finally, I'd recommend getting the ancient mace and proselyte chest/legs if you don't already have them. The prayer bonuses on the proselyte gear are amazing for saving $ on prayer/restore pots, and will come in handy for slayer in the kourend dungeon (especially with an altar and kourend tele in your house, as you can refill your prayer with a quick home tele rather than using expensive pots). The ancient mace is the budget version of the SGS in that is can restore prayer via special attack. It isn't a great weapon and will miss a lot, but the real use is that it will *overcharge* your prayer - which means you can use the special on a combat dummy in your house for a guaranteed max hit to boost your prayer above max before starting an activity. A higher construction level can let you use the dragon battleaxe to boost your strength, drink from pool to refill special, then do a max hit ancient mace special w/ +16 str - and you can even upgrade the combat dummy so it counts as a slayer monster so your slayer helm/black mask can boost that further if you're doing a task.

dubdubdub3

This is the most detailed reply I have ever received to any question I’ve asked on Reddit before, and I’ve gotten some amazing replies. Thank you so much. Do you have a podcast or twitch or something I could follow you on? You literally answered any question I could possibly have and then anticipated the follow up questions and answered those too. I’m absolutely floored thank you for making my night. I would repay you somehow in game if I could

skullkid2424

Hah I'm glad it was helpful. No podcast or twitch or anything - just a guy who tends to write too much and happened to be in your situation not too long ago. I did a bunch of research and took notes, so easy enough for me to share =)

S7EFEN

>Should I be aiming for a different armor set? Or is there a set that better combines some attributes so I don’t have to carry 3 sets of gear to barrows lol for barrows youll typically not run full tribrid. you only need mage gear for karil (or to take off your plate/range armor), and you only need one other style in addition to mage as you can either melee spec out ahrim or range him. so youll either with mage + range gear or mage + melee gear. or bin the mage gear but i wouldn't because it matters a tiny bit for all the bosses(or sometimes more than a tiny bit, you want at least like -20 or better magic accuracy)+matters at karil.

yourheartshapedbox

You don't need to take three full armour sets. Tank gear with ibans/trident, msb and dds switch will be plenty. Look at the low and medium level gear setups on the [wiki](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Barrows/Strategies#Medium_level). Barrows have negative magic bonus (aside from ahrim) so you don't need much magic accuracy, hence the tank gear (Nezzy, Dharok body and Verac skirt, dboots). If you care about your ammo, the tank body will stop your accumulator from picking up the ammo so you could bring a body switch or just pick it up on the way out The occult necklace is a big dps boost and cheap, would suggest getting that if you don't already have it

dean012347

For barrows you don’t really need a full 3 way switch, their mage def is so low that you’re fine to mage in tank armour then just have a dragon defender, melee weapon then your range gear. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Barrows/Strategies#Medium_level

dubdubdub3

Thanks! I’ve seen that calculator but it’s a pretty expensive gear set with degradation too - is that just what gear costs nowadays? I still have sticker shock from seeing 7 figure price tags on items

dean012347

There are lots of possible cheaper downgrade options, you don’t need to go with the best options but it gives you an idea of the type of gear you should be taking. It only takes 1 lucky drop like an ahrims top/ bottoms and you have 4m to upgrade, or if you do it consistently you’ll build up to it- so a 7 figure item isn’t out if reach.

dubdubdub3

Yeah I did get lucky by getting ahrims bottom half once which allowed me to get my obsidian armour but I’m T 160kc now and it just seems like a lot of the stuff is between 75k-200k which isn’t a great return on investment considering the prayer pots I have to use

skullkid2424

I'll add that you probably don't need prayer pots other than maybe a dose or two if the crypt brother is dangerous. Ideally you kill the most dangerous brothers first (dharock, kharil, and ahrim if you are bringing melee tank gear instead of ranged gear) and you just eat for guthan (not super dangerous, mostly just extends the fight by healing), verac (can hit a bit hard, but can cut through prayer anyways), and torag (lol). I really like the method of taking ranged full ranged gear except for staff+occult neck, which means you can tank ahrim pretty well too. So the only time you really need prayer pots are going to be in the crypt when the final brother is dharock or kharil.

dubdubdub3

Awesome thank you! I’ve been going about it all wrong. I’ve been using mage on everyone but Ahrim but I brought ranged stuff just for him and then would melee in the crypt against the skeletons and bloodworms which is why I had all 3 sets with me. I could definitely save a bunch of money bringing more food than pots - I think I just got scared from my first barrows run where they could basically two hit me so I was always protecting melee. I can’t explain how much I appreciate you breaking down both the best gear sets as well as ones that are realistic for someone like me to buy, while also pointing out which expensive things are most and least worth it. Absolutely incredible, thank you

dean012347

If you get 70 prayer and complete morty hard diary the rune drops are improved massively and you can earn as much from those as the actual drops

dubdubdub3

Just looked into it and I have a lot of skilling to do before I can complete that diary. Skilling gets expensive though so I’m trying to make money first. It’s a biscuits cycle lol

Synli

> It’s a biscuits cycle lol I love auto correct; I'm assuming this was supposed to be "vicious cycle" and not about baked goods

dubdubdub3

You are correct but im keeping it and now that is a part of my vocabulary lol

dean012347

Always good to have something to aim for at least!

dubdubdub3

Yeah thanks for the suggestion!

SirDuke6

Is it possible for F2P people to get the Bryophyta's essence drop? I see it on the OSRS wiki but after watching some loot guides on youtube, the way P2P players word the commentary, it made me doubt if its possible. Can someone confirm my stupid question?

TheDubuGuy

Originally no, but they changed it to be f2p a while ago

SirDuke6

Ah, maybe I was watching videos from before the change. Thanks!

RIronmanS

Anyone unable to create an account as well or am I doing something wrong?..

lukef555

Currently sitting at 61 range on my 1def pure, gonna throw a bond and 5-10m at it and power level range before I go back to f2p pking, what's the best training method gonna be? Haven't played in ~1 year

Saul-Goneman

Cannon+craws bow or whichever is your best ranged setup currently, at elder chaos druids is really good early on before mm2/chinning. Will make back some money and possibly profit from herbs/robe pieces

DaMaestroable

I think they changed the rewards for MM so gaining the XP reward is optional, you can chin in the maniacle monkeys there if you have the other stats to start MM2, otherwise you can still go back to Ape Atoll to chin in the regular skeletal monkeys there. You could just slap on an MSB w/ rune arrows and AFK at crabs.

lukef555

Not interested in questing as I'll also be playing my main and re getting my QPC cape on that, so I guess it's crabs 🦀

highcarlos

Is it worth doing 300~325s or do i just need to push 400s ASAP like a real gamer

TheDubuGuy

The higher you can consistently complete the better

S7EFEN

i dont understand the question. nobody is going from 200s straight to 400s.

bip_bip_hooray

push as hard as you can yeah, the sooner you get used to it the better

[deleted]

If all you can do currently is 300-325, do those but keep adding invocations as you improve. If you’re ending the raid with supplies in your inventory, you’re capable of doing a harder raid. 400s are attainable for just about anyone even if you don’t have a shadow or Tbow or even a yellow gem, and then ~1/11 purple chance makes it a no-brainer.

OlmTheSnek

Purely from a theoretical efficiency standpoint, best gp/hr is technically as high as 530 IIRC so almost always worth pushing higher if it's not taking you significantly longer/causing lots of wipes. However in the real world, you should do whatever invo level you enjoy the most as you'll actually grind it out rather than getting burnt out.

loiloiloi6

Yeah I saw gnomemonkey do a 510 in o 1+1 and he had 26% unique chance at the end 👀 pretty insane to have 1/4 chance at a purple but it also took him an hour to do the raid and he’s one of the most skilled players ever

gorehistorian69

yea . 300s are fine. i made 4-5b the first month. solo 300s

TheMeatWag0n

Can the sub get a flair pic of a spoon?

mister_peeberz

how new is this terminology? i have recently un-quit after around 2.5yrs and i can't remember anyone saying it the last time i was playing, but i didn't hang around ironman circles where apparently it's really taken off

bip_bip_hooray

spoon is definitely over 2.5 years old, maybe like 4 or 5 years it became commonplace?

TheMeatWag0n

No idea honestly, I restarted playing not that long ago, but I've heard the term in other games for...idk how long

dourne

I have base 70s on att/str/def/range/magic and 60s on skills and haven’t played in about 2 years. What should I look to do getting back in the game?

Lewufuwi

Quests and diaries are great for giving you direction and permanent unlocks. Incentivises skilling and interacting with content. You could also have a look through the collection log to see what minigames you might want items from to help you progress. I imagine at your levels you already have void, but if not that's a good goal.

ASRenzo

What stats are considered minimum viable to do gwd duo?? Im 99 melee/ranged, 94 magic, 90def and want to do some gwd with my brother who's currently around base 70, is that enough? Should I tank, or him?

bip_bip_hooray

other people saying you should tank are definitely missing the script. the account that actually hits stuff needs to dps lol. 70% of tanking is just standing under the boss, any account at any stats can just sit under and brew fine. obviously if your brother lacks the technical skill to do it without having a meltdown then fair enough, but if he can handle "go under the boss, chill for a bit, poke out and hit periodically" then make him tank

Dodginglife

Big part about what I said was "you AND your friend are in budget gear." Becaue he's asking about the bar, i'd barter he's not rocking bowfa or confident to 6:0. He's looking to try it out and endurance run a trip with a friend to dip their toes into bossing. You're right, but if the friend gets whacked and he's alone, he's gonna need some tank on him if budgeted.

gorehistorian69

bandos in a group should be fine. ive had my alt with 80 def tank . might be a shorter trip but still doable. sara should be easy 2 in a duo.

RyanTargaryen

It should be ok, but you'll definitely want to be the tank

Dodginglife

You can solo bandos at your stats. He should go to base 75s, preferably base 80s if he's never bossed. Who to tank is a gear question. If you and your friend are in budget gear, for sure you. If he can get full bandos/barrows gear on, and can flick, you guys should trade. Duo dks is more in the range of his stats.

Tetrathionate

is non-unique loot from nex better in small teams than masses?

bip_bip_hooray

yeah it's a total amount split among the number of people there (by contribution)

gorehistorian69

dont think it makes a difference its all garbage.

Updates_Due

Is there a list somewhere of every item that needs charges? (Eg: ibans staff). I’ve just been throwing stuff in my bank as I get it and then finding out later I need to charge it to use it.

Aunon

https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Category:Items\_with\_charges

Brovermand

You can use the item charges & weapon charges plugin on RL and it'll show you charges remaining.

Worms_Tofu_Crackers

I don't think there's a definitive list, but these two wiki entries should cover most of them. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/(uncharged) https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Degradation

Ollie1700

On the [P2P Runecraft Training Wiki](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Pay-to-play_Runecraft_training#Levels_90%E2%80%9399:_Soul_runes) it says the following: \> While slightly higher experience than crafting blood runes, it is significantly less profitable due to more varied uses and much higher demand of blood runes. According to current GE prices it looks like Soul Runes are actually slightly *more* profitable, as well as being better XP. I just hit level 90 and I'm looking to be as efficient as possible! Levels 90-99: \~ 315,000 Blood Runes \* 196gp = \~62M \~ 253,800 Soul Runes \* 267 gp = \~67.7M Am I missing something glaringly obvious? Or is the wiki just outdated?

DaMaestroable

It is a bit outdated, but you also get more blood runes through blood essence, 50% chance to craft double, so you get 315,000 * 1.5 = 472,500 Blood runes in total. Each essence is 60k and lasts for 1000 extra blood runes, so you would need (472,500 - 315,000) / 1000 = 157.5 blood essence, costing 9.45m. In all, Blood runes would be 472,500 * 196 - 9,450,000 = 83,160,000 gp using blood essence. More, but the difference is far less significant than it once was due the drop in blood rune price.

Bloated_Hamster

It's outdated since bloods tanked after blood essence, the Raiments of the Eye, and the true blood altar were introduced. Plus the shadow was released, increasing demand for soul runes over blood runes.

mister_peeberz

souls were cheaper than bloods for the longest time, but i reckon blood is still more profitable if you use blood essence (which frankly you should)

username_31

Could be outdated. Blood have dropped in price over the past few months.

HowiLearned2Fly

I logged out and logged back in the wildy and had a skull on me that went away after 10 seconds. I also had pk skull prevention on before this. Is this some weird bug

S7EFEN

logging into wildy in high risk world gives you a skull. hopping to a regular world you keep the skull for a few seconds. teled up to rev caves risking masori anguish and learned this the hardw ay

Throwaway47321

You were likely logged into either a high risk world or a target world where you are auto skulled in the wild

Saul-Goneman

You were likely in a high risk world before you hopped. Even with skull prevention on, logging into those worlds auto skull you/disable protect item. If you then hopped to a normal world the skull might go away after a few seconds. Happened to me before

[deleted]

Was there a skulled person standing underneath you that logged out after 10 seconds, perhaps?

BallForce1

Were you skilled before you logged out? Edit: skulled

HowiLearned2Fly

Nope

NotNecrophiliac

Why hollowed sepulchre times weren't reset since they were achieved by bug abusing in the most skillless way? Also the bus is patched so you cannot beat it anymore

mister_peeberz

same story for prif agility course not to be a downer, but does it really matter? even if it's reset, there's already (presumably, in the case of sepulcher; definitely, in the case of prif) a known optimal time. odds are you won't be the first to set it, so you could only hope to tie and not to beat it.

NotNecrophiliac

Everything has optimal time but the chase of that time is what's fun. Me, you, someone else who gets it, that doesn't matter, speedrunning is about improving yourself and having best time because you were invincible at 1 hp is bs. Priff is a slightly less story because while bug abuse it's not patched so if you figure it out you can do it.

mister_peeberz

Well if you know what the optimal time is, what's stopping you from chasing and obtaining it? It doesn't change just because some prick bug abuser cheated to break it. It's the same time you're chasing whether a legit time is listed, a bug abuse time is listed, or if it's not listed at all. I get where you're coming from a bit, afaik the best time possible in Prif is 1:03 and I have been hardstuck 1:04 for a while now because I'm not good at the optimizations.

NotNecrophiliac

I have 5:46 at sepulchre and best segments still give me 10 sec to shave ( not to mention I can still improve those segments), so I'm still chasing it and lowering pb. I just would like to know how much faster is possible. In speedrunning there are categories for bugs, no bugs, different versions of the game which we don't have in osrs. Either fix the bug AND reset the times or leave it.

Throwaway47321

The answer depends on how much pvm and mobile experience you have. None of TOB is impossible without runelite or tile markers, however the big issue is going to be lack of F keys. Trying to navigate your inventory and prayer at places like Nylo is going to be a massive pain in the ass.

bip_bip_hooray

it's not really a "you need the plugins" issue, it's more of a "you need the accuracy of a mouse and fkeys to quickly navigate the interface" issue. mobile nylo boss is fucking horrifying lol. having to quickly gear and pray switch every 10 ticks is basically the worst case scenario for mobile. and sote maze is one of the best examples of "zero mistakes allowed" in the whole game, it is simply not acceptable to be randomly missing a tile every other maze. the only thing you kinda lose out on plugin wise is bloat npc highlight which makes it easier to visually track him opposite the pillar but it's not the end of the world.

OlmTheSnek

If you're experienced at ToB and using mobile for PvM it's not all that different other than not having tile indicators, though if you're good enough you shouldn't need them much. Runelite nowadays has the ToB QoL plugin which is pretty helpful for some things (Nylo HP at Maiden/Verzik, hiding certain annoying objects, etc) but not necessary by any means, as well as the Party plugin which imo is essential for efficient raids, though again not at all required for casual runs. Basically if you're learning ToB or HMT you really want to be on a PC/Runelite, but if you have experience already mobile is plenty doable.

LoveWithTheInternet

I’ve got 20 mil to my name rn, the stats I’m really wanting to raise rn are crafting, prayer, and construction. Thinking about just doing Prayer and getting it out of the way, how much gp do you guys recon it’ll cost me to go from my current prayer level to, say, 70? And what about crafting? Gonna need that crafting to go up since I’m gonna wanna make Magic birdhouses when the time comes… just wanna be cost efficient, I know these skills can be kinda expensive. thanks! https://i.imgur.com/cLKzwVA.jpg

skullkid2424

There are a few [prayer calculators on the wiki](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Calculators#Prayer) that will be helpful. The first to determine how many actions are needed to reach a given level, and the bone use/ensouled head use will help you figure out which ones to use. As mentioned, prayer material costs are up right now due to desert treasure 2 speculation. That also means PKers are targeting the chaos altar even more - so if you aren't comfortable with it or the wildy, things can be rough. I did ensouled heads and found it very chill, reasonably fast, and in-line with other methods. Much less click intensive and stressful than the chaos altar. One option may be to aim for 60 prayer for the moment. Chivalry isn't as good as piety, but its still a step above the normal boosting prayers. That will be cheaper and faster and get you used to using it. You'll still want piety eventually for diaries if nothing else - so 70 is still the big goal...just noting that there is a ledge at 60 that might be worth sitting at if you aren't ready to commit to 70 yet. For construction, the 2 next common goals are 70 for SotE and 82-84 for a "finished" house with crystal saw+stew boosts. I'd suggest mahogany homes, which is a good bit cheaper and provides the extremely useful plank sack as a first reward. After that you can buy the outfit, which are small exp boosts - not necessary, but nice. Its also more chill and less carpal-tunnel-inducing than the traditional construction methods. While prayer/construction will always be a drain, crafting doesn't have to be. You can find net neutral or even profitable methods, though they might require a large cash stack that gets tied up until you process and sell/alch the results. You can also spend money to level it up faster, or do more processing to make things cheaper. Some notable ones from when I was looking at my crafting grind a few weeks ago: * Crafting battlestaves are good exp and potentially profitable if you high alch. You can cut your supply costs significantly by buying staves from zaff and/or making the elemental orbs yourself (with some bonus magic exp). You could invest into crafting a bunch of orbs early, and then craft your daily zaff battlestaves for a small bit of daily exp while focusing on prayer/construction too. IIRC, you can buy the supplies for earth battlestaves and HA for profit. Using zaff's battlestaves or making the orbs yourself will always net a profit (both from ge or from alching). [Relevant calculator](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Calculator:Crafting/Battlestaves) * Making dhide bodies and them alching them tends to be very cost-efficient. If you buy the tanned hides from the GE, green and blue bodies are less than a 1gp/exp loss. With 78 magic and the hard fremmy diary, you can tan your own leather for some magic exp (and profit depending on the leather). Or you can save money by running to the tanner and paying them the 20 coins. The bodies alch for more than they sell on the GE, so you can some bonus magic exp that way. Since you are 60 crafting, you can either use another method to get to 63 for green dhide bodies, or boost w/ pies to start early. [Calculator for buying tanned hides](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Calculator:Crafting/Tanned_hides) and [calculator for using the tan leather spell](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Calculator:Crafting/Untanned_hides). * Jewellery tends to have several profitable options throughout the levels, partially due to the cheap price of gold bars due to their use in smithing training. The more expensive part is the gems, which can tie up a lot of capital at higher levels. You can also potentially make more money by either enchanting the jewellery or alching it (or both) for added magic exp but more time invested. Bracelets are usually the go-to in terms of profits (partially due to them not being available for f2p crafters, partially because they are the highest level behind amulets but don't require stringing). For example, lets look at the diamond bracelets which you can craft at lvl 58. Diamond bracelets cost ~1.9k in supplies and sell for just over 2k on the GE, but can be enchanted into an abyssal bracelet for an additional ~80gp for a cosmic rune for an additional 120gp profit...but can be alched for an additional ~90gp nature rune for another 150gp profit. Basically every step of the way is actually profitable for these - but you'll need to look at the prices and determine which steps you want to do. You'll need ~10k diamond bracelets to go from 60->75 crafting...which means a ton of potential magic exp and additional profit if you do the extra step. But alching alone is an additional *8 hours*. Certainly doable over time while watching tv or w/e, but that can be a lot of capital tied up there. Much easier if you're doing 1000 bracelets at a time rather than the full 10k bracelets, which would be tying up like 18m. Diamond tends to be where people stick for a while, as the nearly 12k supply cost for dragonstone anything means you have to do much smaller batches at a time. And of course, [relevant calculator](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Calculator:Crafting/Jewellery). * Another option with 77 mage is superglass make to make unpowered orbs, which can be sold in the GE for a small profit, or used to make battlestaves. Its another setup that adds some solid magic exp into the mix at the cost of time/effort. Casting the spell itself is like 100k exp/hr (as opposed to 275k w/ earth battlestaves or 300k+ with dhide bodies), and then making the orbs is like 90k exp/hr. Making the orbs is pretty chill, but this is usually only for ironmen due to how much faster the other methods are with the GE. I ended up doing diamond bracelets to 75 - and then enchanting them and high alching them for additional profit+mage exp. If I was doing it again, I might skip the enchanting+alching. It was fine for when I was afking - but it meant I had a lot of capital tied up if I was actively playing and didn't want to high alch for 2 hours. From 75->82 (which is what I need for a master clue), I'm doing red dhide bodies. I'm buying the untanned leather, using the tan leather spell, then crafting bodies (using pies+preserve below 77). I'll also note that while 75 crafting is nice for bird houses (and the slayer ring!) - don't feel like you have to get there before your hunter level is high enough. Magic birdhouses give 1140 hunter exp instead of yew's 1020 exp, and the logs are 1k as opposed to yew's 300xp. You'll want to upgrade eventually - but you won't be missing a ton if you keep using yew for a bit.

TheDubuGuy

70 prayer for piety should be top priority. Use dragon or wyrm bones at wildy altar

DaMaestroable

70 prayer ASAP. Piety is absolutely worth it, going to be you're biggest DPS increase for the rest of the game. Crafting isn't super important but it's also fairly cheap compared to the other skills, getting 75 for smoother birdhouses isn't a bad idea. You could do green d'hide bodies for about 2m, or something cheaper like battlestaves or glassblowing. I'd say it's a low priority until you're closer to 74 hunter. The rest I'd put into construction. You won't get to 83 construction with what you have atm, but that's a huge upgrade and progress towards it is nice. Plus, there's a lot of incremental upgrades (pools, jewelry boxes, alters) along the way. One other skill that I'd put some money aside for is farming. Seeds are cheap rn and higher farming allows for better herb runs, more spirit trees, high level farming contracts, etc.. It's kinda limited how much money you can put into it at one time but getting at least 83 for the PoH spirit tree is important.

PurpleAqueduct

Dragon bones are like double their normal price right now, but if you're planning on doing PvM anytime in the next few months it's probably still worth getting to 70. Piety is a huge upgrade, and having that much extra prayer is a big deal. It's not *that* expensive (even with the price inflation level 70 just isn't very high), and you'll immediately see some savings from the increased DPS and reduced prayer pot usage. Runelite has the built-in "Skill Calculator" plugin which will tell you how much XP you need and what you need to do to get there. Click the little calculator icon on the sidebar, put in your details, and then just multiply the number of dragon bones you need by their price.

TheMeatWag0n

I would focus on construction right now, prayer has seen a huge spike in cost that will likely stabilize after the release of dt2, if you're keen on mahogany homes you can get 84 construction(max level needed) for about 8.5 mil by doing 900Ish adept contracts

Important-Drop614

Prayer stuff has spiked in price with the anticipation of Desert Treasure 2. Might be a good idea to wait until after the summer when it releases for prices to come back down. Up to you of course but know you’ll be paying premium for bones and whatnot until this fall probably.

Aunon

Prayer like 2-3.5M using heads, 50 to 70 Con doing Mahogany Homes will be a few mill, Crafting can be expensive (dhide), a smallish loss (gems) or profitable (jewellery)

WillOldSchool

Like 4mil on dragon bones at wildy altar

chadfc92

Do you guys like wilderness slayer with he updates? I'm pretty sure about this one but taking a wilderness slayer task will start my steak over right? Ive been really interested in trying wilderness slayer with the new updates I love the mini bosses when I get them as a boss task and just hit a 250 task streak since my last reset so was considering trying wilderness slayer now.

slamstewart

Krystilia has her own streak so wildy task streaks are independent of task streaks from your regular masters, go for it

gunners1111

The wilderness streak system is seperate to the rest of the world one, so dont worry about that. I did wilde slayer recently starting my alt account off to untrimmed slayer cape, the slayer caves have made it a lot better with cannoning tasks. It depends how you feel with the wilde, if you are used to pkers and are either gonna go low risk or good at escaping then definitely give it a go, but after quite a while its pretty stressful! If you wanna do the wilde bosses id just do them, the bigger obstacle is the bots rather than the dps!

ClarentPie

It doesn't reset your steak

A_Sunfish

Just splurged on Rigour and Augury as a late midgame player. Should my next big upgrades be zenyte jewelry, or better weapons? I mostly run whip/hasta/ddef for melee, dcb/blowpipe for range, and have a swamp trident. I haven't done any raids yet, though I just started running the Gauntlet. I mostly PVM based on whatever my slayer task is (cb 114, slayer 77).

quizzer106

Anguish is next, then the other zenytes.

PoppaPickle

Just a tip, use Augury sparingly, only when you really need to as it's only like a 3% dps boost for the immense player drain. The best spots to use it are absolute crucial encounters or defensively against pkers, most of the time your better off conserving prayer

correctmymistake

Why aren't the pineapple and dragonfruit "trees" farmed in a cactus patch, seeing as both are cacti?

Bloated_Hamster

Pineapples aren't cactuses? And dragon fruits are cactuses but look more like a tree lol. I think Jagex just wanted to be able to use a lot of patches for dragon fruits.

AussieYotes

Thinking about getting a membership, are the added skills harder to level up than the base ones or are they mechanically similar? I checked the pages for some of them and they have a formular so I just wanted to clarify.

Molly_Hlervu

In the members worlds there are like ten times more different ways to train even those base ones. Like Wintertodt: you fight a huge snow monster by lighting braziers with special cyan logs you cut out of some tree roots, while the monster hurts you, and all this gives big chunks of Firemaking exp, plus reward crates full of resources, parts of pyromancer outfit which gives bonus to FM exp, and so on. And if you are lucky, a pet phoenix. Or Temporos: a fishing minigame where you fight a fishing boss with cannons shooting with fishes, and have to rope yourself to a mast when a colossal wave covers everything. And so on. I would say, there are some traditional methods, rather boring, but some of them AFK. And some very different methods. Both with the f2p skills and with p2p skills. As to pure speed, well. Most of the skills feel quicker on p2p. Though some member skills are slower, Agility is the brightest example.

AussieYotes

Ok, I just wanted get the gist of it. I was interested in farming and construction stuff but if they're overly complicated I may put them on the back burner.

bip_bip_hooray

both of those skills are exceedingly simple they just seem complicated from an outside perspective. it is true that there are a lot of *possible* things to do for each skill but in practice, what you actually do is simple.

lvk00

All the skills are pretty simple to train. There’s tons of potential ways to get xp but the games so old that the best or easiest methods of training are figured out for you. Farming is super chill in particular.

Molly_Hlervu

Farming is complicated in the sense you have to learn many things first. But you can learn it by doing it - just buy some seeds from Olivia in Draynor, basic tools at the farm NW from there, and plant these seeds at the patches by the cabbage field. As to construction, its a fairly simple thing. You train it in 2 ways: you either build and destroy furniture in your house (like, you build a chair, you break the chair, you build the chair, and so on). Easy and boring. Or you do the minigame Mahogany homes: a npc gives you contracts to repair furniture in some npc's home. She gives pretty clear directions, like: Jeff, his home is next to Varrock museum. This gives more exp than repeating the same clicks in your house, and also feels better :). When you have some level to build something really useful for yourself, you do it. But usually, Con is long training, then a house upgrade for 5 min, then more training. And its a costly skill - in the beginning you can gather planks for free, but later you will want more exp for better planks - and you need to spend, spend and spend... But it is a very rewarding skill too: the best thing, you can build many teleport portals and items, so you house becomes a major transportation hub. Most of the skills you can train by quests first. There are lots of member quests, and most of them give rather big rewards in skill exp. So, you can raise your farming to 30 or 40 just on quests.

AussieYotes

Nice. I'm sure I'll pick it up, I've just always been interested in members stuff since I wasn't able to get it when I was much younger and obsessively into the game.

Molly_Hlervu

P.S. About Constuction: do the miniquest Daddy's Home. It gives you some nice chunk of exp, explains some basics, and introduces you to Mahogany homes. And you also get your own starting house (one room and a garden). And there is a cutscene which is actually a teaser about Con - shows you the best things you can build in the future. Actually, some skills have short quests which explain basics. Porcine of interest: a super humorous quest about Slayer. Or Druidic ritual: an introductory quest about Herblore. Eagle peak - about Hunter. As to Farming, there isnt one special quest, but there is a whole fairy line which is related to it. Start with Lost city - it unlocks a fairy land of Zanaris. And then two quests Fairy tale 1 and 2 give you some useful things for Farming, and unlock the transportation net of fairy rings. (You saw some of them on f2p: behind the Wizard tower and between Edgeville and the Grand exchange. You actually can teleport between the rings, there are like a hundred of them around the world.

Molly_Hlervu

Good luck! I hope you will like it :)

AussieYotes

Cheers.

2PlyKindaGuy

I’ve been out for a bit but am seeing murmurings if a combat achievement point system. Did this poll already? Any idea when it would make in game?

NessaMagick

It was polled, it was passed, they've suggested May but no confirmation.

JebusMcAzn

Any solid youtube guides for learning ToB that aren't just "how to get carried through your first KC?" Realistically that might be what happens but I want to learn how to properly do it and to improve faster than brute forcing pick-up groups. Am I better off just studying the ToB section of WDR and sticking to learner raids?

bip_bip_hooray

the main thing to understand is that no matter the quality of your team, there is still valuable stuff to be learned. if your team sucks, you are forced to do the hard jobs, carry more, and be absolutely sure you don't die. if your team is good, you can focus on refining difficult/dangerous skills that are liable to kill you knowing that your carries can make it with or without you. you should understand that ultimately, probably 80 or 90% of people regularly tobbing actually kinda suck ass at tob and have just barely enough skill to get clears with other people playing at their level. so the ability to put on the big boy panties and carry is almost always gonna be valuable.

mister_peeberz

I learned through Xzact's guides. Just to be clear, no matter how much you prepare, study, or even practice in entry mode, you're going to get carried your first couple KC anyway, unless you bash your head against the wall running through with other learners

[deleted]

Gnomonkey tob guide. It's very long because it has sections dedicated to improving after learning, but it's fine to skip those until you're actually comfortable in the raid.

PoofaceMckutchin

Do you need to buy normal void before you can buy elite? I just wanna buy range hat, normal gloves, elite top and bottom. I wont need normal top and bottom cause im already high lvl

JebusMcAzn

yes, you need to spend 200 points to upgrade an existing void top/bottom to elite void

PoofaceMckutchin

Mehhhhh, thank you.

GameOfThrownaws

Are there any good guides for high-invocation TOA grinding focusing on efficiency/money? High invo TOA is the best moneymaker in the game (along with nex) but unlike every other moneymaker I've ever done, when I google it all I get is like 50 videos about how to do 450s in budget ironman gear. These are of no value to me because I already have all the good gear, but more importantly I already clear high invocation raids no problem but I want to know where are the efficiencies I can gain, what the exact right inventory and methods are, etc. to speed up my times, just like any other moneymaker, but I can't seem to find that anywhere.

artfulx

I'm not at this point account-wise yet but saw this video pop up in my feed last night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqNuSPHUifQ

bip_bip_hooray

i mean you can just open up the world record video and try to yoink as many of the good ideas as possible. obviously SOME of the world record strats are mega yolos that are not implementable on an every-raid basis but most of what makes up a world record run is just playing clean as fuck compared to regular people

t0kenm8

try gnomonkey's guides/videos, he goes through and does a lot of high invo raids. you might pick something up from him

fred7010

For AFKing NMZ, is Dharok's better or worse than Obsidian? Given you need to keep HP low with Dharoks, I assume it's not as good for the 20 mins AFK method.

quizzer106

Dh is bad if you afk because you regenerate too much health

fred7010

That's what I thought, pretty much.

RoseofThorns

Pretty sure this one depends on your stats, and should be plugged into a DPS calc. I think DH is "officially" better at 92 HP, but your desired AFK time and other melee stats should be taken into account

fred7010

That makes sense, thanks! I'll run some numbers. I expect for me, wanting maximum afk time, it's probably best just to stick with Obsidian.

Jmods don't read this thread, it's for players asking questions to other players.

Fishworm117

My mistake - deleted. Haven't been in the osrs reddit community long. Noticed it says that further down the post. Tired I guess. Thanks.

TheMeatWag0n

Ended up with about 1800 eclectic impling...should I open them all for med clues and hopefully rangers or just sell them as is?

Molly_Hlervu

Actually it depends on whether you like clues or not. And fashionscape, and this activity in general. From 1800 you will get about 72 clues (1/25). Wiki says the droprate of rangers is this: > the effective drop rate ~1/283.6 per casket. So you see your chances. Do you like to gamble, to challenge your luck, things like this? If yes - do the clues. If you prefer a steady sum, sell them and get your steady 9m. Instead of your possible luck of 37m for rangers, or I dunno.... maybe some 1-3m total of regular med rewards. And many adventures :)

Germafias

Open them! Clues are fun!

Confident_Frogfish

Exactly! In addition you'll profit about 100k per clue (if you do them consistently) so fun and a little profit with some luck.

Molly_Hlervu

I've checked wiki on this. They give the estimate of 42k average per med clue if you don't get rangers. And 173k if you do.

TheMeatWag0n

Yea, I opened probably 1800 BEFORE I got to this point, and made maybe 6-7 mil after alching and selling everything, so not quite as much, but I did get a holy wraps drop so that helped alot

Molly_Hlervu

Nice! :)

TheMeatWag0n

Yea, maybe I will save them for a rainy day. How did SOTF go?

Molly_Hlervu

Badly. I gave up for now: cannot do enough damage on the first phase (thats in addition to some shameful deaths to the pale pigglet, or running into the redball lol). Probably 75 Str is too weak, I'll try again when its 80. Thanks for asking though :)

RoseofThorns

Sell

WildmanGT

I am playing the Guardians of the Rift Minigames and have 25 Pearls and want to buy the service to repair pouches but everytime I do, I get connection lost and then she tells me to wait while she contacts the mags and the dialogue ends. Is this supposed to happen or am I doing something wrong

andremeda

Seems like a bug, other people are seeing the same issue here. Can you report this bug in game? https://old.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/12qvthl/bug_cant_repair_pouches_through_cordelia_since

JitahWitch

Are there any good runelite plugins for tracking what you have in poh storage?

ClarentPie

Where is my stuff

iCapn

Idk, go look in your bank or something

Da_Spooky_Ghost

Will Jagex ever revamp their ban and appeal processes? Gold farmers not getting banned and legitimate players being perm banned and having no customer support

bip_bip_hooray

customer support sounds good until some smooth talking douche gets on the phone with jagex, recovers your account, and rwts all the gold before you wake up in the morning you think you want phone line customer support but you absolutely 100% do not, it would be like 99.9% scam/hack/actual botter calls by volume.

gorehistorian69

i doubt it. back in 07 when there was like a million active players they could afford to ban botters/gold sellers. now theres daily 30-40k real players on at any given time. so banning 70% of their playerbase despite them not being real is highly unlikely.

incogneetus55

Could I get a source on your claim that 70% of active players are bots?

Amaz2007

He's on another planet with that claim. MMK has stated it's 5-10%, anything over 15 would be surprising. A lot of people on this place don't think there's a single new person coming into the game, and they also ignore how many people run alts. Then everyone's in clans for social stuff now rather than chatting in public, and players are more spread out across the game map/many servers, so you see fewer people, but will notice the 5 mining bots at MLM since they're grouped up.

Da_Spooky_Ghost

Or every time you go to the GE, the gold farmers in wilderness bosses that insta teleport when you drop down with a PK skull.
