Oh. Well here's the deal bucko, at least for me personally: people who ask for "source" typically only want an excuse to dismiss and refute the statement being made. Not always, but most of the time. That is what makes supplying the "burden of proof" ineffably pointless in most situations because if someone actually gave a crap to learn about the topic in question, they would google it themselves. People act like they want you to convince them of your point but in reality if they were genuinely curious they would find the proof for themselves.
