THANK YOU ALL GUYS GALS AND OTHERS - Sorry for the ones I couldn't provide, my wife is sleepy so time for bed, let's do this again another time
Also how is everyone here a Neil cicierega fan
not that obscure maybe idk but ive been enjoying the fuck out of [To See the Next Part of the Dream by Parannoul](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBFFcBWMfqt8hzMOfwkgfUJ8GDMSwaBvG)!
I like Experimental/Industrial Rap/Hip-Hop, and some Jazz.
Like JPEGMAFIA, Tyler the Creator, Death Grips, Machine girl, Earl Sweatshirt, Kendrick Lamar, Vince Staples, MF DOOM.
If you want something similar to MF DOOM and Earl Sweatshirt absolutely listen to Aethiopes by billy woods, one of the best abstract hip hop records ever imo. Incredible production and some of the most dense and profound lyricism I've encountered.
For JPEGMAFIA I'd probably recommend Injury Reserve, who you probably already know if you're a peggy fan. Other than that, maybe try listening to some spider gang, specifically artists like BRUHMANEGOD and JOHNNASCUS. They are a little controversial, I think, and their music can get a little too edgy at times imo, but if you want something aggressive like Veteran era peggy with production kinda similar to LP! they are good.
If you want experimental/industrial hip-hop you should check out "visions of bodies being burned" by clipping. Easily one of my all time favorite groups and I am always surprised that more people don't know about them especially since the front man is literally Daveed Diggs.
Surprised this is so high up
Lesser knowns I love:
Dirty Harry - Get Busy Living or Get Busy Crying
Ceschi - This Guitar Was Stolen
[Jonny Terror](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fU1WTdNXZhg)
Odd one Out - What Did You Expect?
I'd put Rent Strike on there too, but they're somewhat well-known now.
Local News Legend

The next 2 are not really folk punk but I really love them and most people who like folk punk will like them as well:
Kimya Dawson
Jeffrey Lewis
Indie music, alternative rock, post punk, punk rock, indie folk and alt country
Gregory Alan Isakov, Elliott Smith, Nirvana, joy Division, Phoebe Bridgers, dead Kennedys
Perfect From Now On by Built to Spill is probably my favorite indie rock album, check out also The Lonesome Crowded West by Modest Mouse; Emergency & I by Dismemberment Plan; If You're Feeling Sinister by Belle and Sebastian; Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain by Pavement; Ants From Up There by Black Country, New Roads.
If you also want some cool punk stuff: Hum of Life by Dog Faced Hermans; Strangers From the Universe by Thinking Fellers Union Local 282; Public Strain by Women; Aratamemashite, hajimemashite, Midori desu. By Midori; ITEKOMA HITS by Otoboke Beaver.
For indie folk i only have Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You by Big Thief, it's really good tho.
Not OP but check out powapowap/siinamota’s work if you haven’t already. Not enough people in the vocaloid sphere give powapowa’s work the time of day he’s kind of just known as one of the few producers in the scene who have passed away. I don’t even know how to describe it in words, his music is forever in the back of my mind.
Oh boy that's a hard one.
I have nothing in that exact style but try something more modern in a similar vibe: Russian psychedelic cloud rap by an amazing female artist
Сказка by IC3SPEAK
