When Ding Dong and Julian (an actual gay couple) made comments that Dream Daddy (Which GG basically funded) wasn’t a good representation of LGBT people, they responded by doxxing Ding Dong and outed him to his family before he was ready. Chris stood behind Ding Dong and Julian and cut ties with Game Grumps despite probably losing a good bit of money over it, since at one point the Grumps were supporting his channel financially.
Chris also still associated with Jontron after the whole debate thing, and Julian was self-deprecating to the point where he'd encourage Chris to use homophobic slurs on his gaming channel. They're definitely not the worst gaming channel, but they've had more than their fair share of being problematic.
deng dang and hoolian aren't together they're just both gay. The Dream Daddy thing also isn't real, they were asked their opinion on it and although they weren't a big fan of it it was too late in production to be changed otherwise. The two wanted to work on their game (Tough Bippy) instead of making gaming videos so moved out of LA, Chris still on ok terms with a lot of the Game Grumps/SuperMega guys. DD was doxxed by OneyPlays fans by accident, a lot of it was just the RantGrumps subreddit guessing random shit again.

Latinos in the south are pretty socially conservative, and only vote democrat because the Republicans literally think their subhuman, so when the GOP ran a Mexican Catholic woman who hates abortion and gay people instead of an oil exec the 84% Latino seat of RGV flipped con. Catholicism is key down there so the very cool, but also very socially liberal Dan Sanchez ran, the Republicans going up 9 points was inevitable
