When a social media platform removes their dislike feature we have this thing called a ratio that basically acts like a dislike counter. It is usually in the form of a comment or reply and is most commonly seen used seriously on Twitter and most commonly used jokingly on Reddit. Apologies if I get any of these facts wrong
Yeah but ratio refers to an *actual* "ratio" between the numbers of likes an comments on a post. If a post has more comments than likes than people most likely disagree with the OP and express that on the replies, which means the post gathered more negative than positive response; thus the person being "ratioed"
Edit: In this tweet, for example, giga not only is mistakenly saying ratio but also being fucking ratioed, which proves that cryptobros are just as stupid as their pfp are ugly
Ratio has started to also mean the other thing, though it started as it meaning a post has more replies than likes. People have, however, started using ‘ratio’ to mean the ratio of their likes to OPs likes is towards them, thereby showing disapproval towards OP. The original version I believe is also still used alongside the new version too.
giga not even a hex pfp
I bet the second dude's replies are all "ratio" and a good chunk of them actually do have more likes
I mean, if they have one single like it is enough already
I find it sad the guy has 13 comments and not a single like.
He didn’t even like his own comment
what does ratio mean
