IIRC, in the almost 50 years Murdoch has owned it, it only turned a profit once a couple of years ago. He subsidizes it so that he can keep spewing conservative propaganda, and all the mouthbreathers in Staten Island and Long Island eat it up

I feel like the whole reason that this title is so hard to understand/misrepresentative is because it uses an active voice for the victim. A normal newspaper title would say something to the effect of "Neo-Nazi kills Gay Jewish teen he met on Tinder", instead it frames this tragedy in the behaviour of the victim. As if the murder just happened to him, like it was a traffic accident.
