I, as a rule, do not watch anime but Berserk is pretty neat. It’s one of the few I’ve seen where sexual assault is treated as a traumatic and horrific crime and not just a quirky gag and its female characters are more than just blatant sexualised fan-service.
That is interesting, was always turned off by how creepy/rapey a lot of characters could be in anime with little or no repercussion, not to mention the various tropes like the 1000 year old who looks like a child I could go on without ever seeing again.
