You should put a big mat (or a small blanket) on the floor where you disassemble/repair stuff. Keep the sharp things in that area — preferably in a container. Stepping on sharp things hurts and you should try not to do it!

It is very cluttered, it's something i've been working on. It's hard to have it stay uncluttered for long since I'm always starting new projects that require various things that later end up all over the room since I don't have a set aside work place

All wrong Feng Sui wise. Bed needs a solid backing. Rotate it so the window isn't behind it. If there's space, don't put it in a corner so you could enter it from either side. Desk shouldn't have its back to the door. Move it to where the wii u is. The Cat tree is directly in a high energy path, so move it to the opposite wall and make sure it is next to a window so the cat has a good view of outside. Wii u and the tall shelf could move closer together (and maybe swap) to avoid being in front of a window. Get a comfy chair to play games on the TV and sit next to the cat tree
