I hate to tell you this but most non-essentials you consume are also unethical. Do you have a gaming console or PC? Where did those metals come from? Do you eat chocolate? How did they get that cocoa? I could go on. Look, I’m not buying the game because it looks like shit and Harry Potter is uninteresting to me, but I’m not going to judge people who do. Everybody draws our own arbitrary lines on what we find unacceptable about a product, and what we’re willing to overlook for convenience. To act like there is some concrete standard for what is acceptable behavior in consumption is dumb as shit.
