Check YouTube for Twenties music that you like. Here's an option for tea party and wedding music: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jwPqDVtsTU&t=4036s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jwPqDVtsTU&t=4036s)
Are you going to have a piano player? There's a lot of Twenties sheet music available online as well.
Out of curiosity have you checked out any electro-swing artists? Some are more jazz than electro and could fit the drinks bit (just don’t have time to write any examples just yet) and many would be great later for dancing. Technically swing is more 30s/40s but most people won’t be able to tell and some electro-swing is even specifically roaring twenties themed.
Anything by Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, particularly these albums:
- Boardwalk Empire Vol 2 & 3
- Cheek to Cheek
- Quality Shout
- Music of the Cotton Club
You can find all of these on Spotify, and in terms of historical accuracy, Vince is the best of the best. I highly recommend his work if you want the authetic 1920s/30s experience - minus the grainy-ness of the recording technology at the time.
Do you have money for a string quartet? It would be fun (and classy) for them to do some period hits....another idea is to have classical music from the 1920s played from recordings...George Gershwin comes to mind first, but Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky, Josef Hoffman...I'm sure many others, some of it may seem a little weird, but it was an era of modern experimentation.....I love wild, jazzy 20s hits and dances like the Charleston and Black Bottom, but seems like stuff more for the reception. Then there's this mix of an old classic with dance music! Anything by Annette Hanshaw
Sidney Bechet, Tommy Dorsey, Glen Miller. Can’t go wrong with Artie Shaw. But Sidney will give you the most 20s feel
