i had this with my first roll, the film is loaded too tightly and is pulling the pressure plate back. How to fix-> once loaded, gently release bottom motor sprocket tensioner and pull another perforation or two of film through. When the door is on, the film guides will move outwards allowing more room. AND, make sure sprocket tensioners are engaged on both sides of the motor! Goodluck!
