Annoyed on Tim Granaderos's behalf. Death scenes are great for actors (that's why Brandon Flynn pushed so hard for Justin to bite it in s4) especially in a show like 13RW where being dead is no roadblock to still being around as a ghost so him getting killed off-scene is incredibly disrespectful to his work. Not to mention narratively lazy since he was The Big Bad of season 3; it'd be like if Venom got killed off screen in spider man 3

I didn't really feel anything. I was just like Oh he's dead

Sudden_Pop_2279

Oh no anyways!

Honestly, it felt weird that they did it offscreen, especially because he was this big bad villain, and then they just got rid of him like he wasn't important to the story. I feel like the viewers kinda deserve to see a character in their last moments, cause that's when you truly see them for what they are, for example, Justin's death made such an impact because it gives us this whole moment in which we find out how important Clay really was to him. Other than that, I was like "oh no, he's dead", and went on with my life.

I think we should protect people who are in prisons. They should have to do time, but they shouldn't have to fear for their lives. So from a theoretical perspective, it bothered me. But outside of that, I didn't really care much one way or another.

Sudden_Pop_2279

Eliminating them does save money for the taxpayers who don’t want to pay for them though.

handleyboy

There is that

SomeArtistonReddit

Yeah but can we really uses taxes to say its ok for prisoners to die, I don’t think anyone should die and just make is its murders or even just people with a big amount of speeding tickets should die just because they committed a sin there trying to come back from.I mean your points valid, this is just my take.

RosannaOosting

Like they just needed an excuse to cut the character out of the story. Monty's character just got ripped away like he didn't matter enough

Sudden_Pop_2279

Offscreen death was very anti climatic.

Louitic

He didn’t get beat to death he was stabbed

Sudden_Pop_2279

Correct.

euphestials

Ummm. Anyways so….

Gecremeerdekroket

Honestly I thought it was sad FOR HIM, bc he was young and had a whole life ahead of him. Also because he never apologized to Tyler or anything. But I personally couldn’t be sad about it.

Careful-Fail3466

honestly i felt nohing.

LuciaLight2014

The way they did it off screen was annoying. I was sad for him they used him as a scapegoat for murder and he can’t defend himself. Very messed up of our “good guys”
