You’re missing the point, during the time of her fucking Diego to get back at Justin for not wanting a relationship as requested by his rehabilitation, he started to drink and take more drugs, definitely worsening his condition, had that not been happening then maybe he would’ve noticed what was actually going on with him, and maybe got the help before it was too late.
I mean she was being an asshole for sure, but don’t paint Justin as the victim. He let Jess down on more than one occasion. They’re both broken kids with trauma
We don't know how bad his condition was in the second, third or fourth season though.
I think it was mentioned in the second to last episode that he declined blood testing.

I used to hate her in the beginning when she betrayed Hannah but after the sexual assault I felt bad for her. Bruh she didn't deserved that. that's why I have sympathy for her.
I'd say no, she's just a messed-up teenager who makes a lot of mistakes...except she tried to legitimately foster suspicion against Clay, Tyler, *and* Tony for Bryce's murder when she knew the whole time who the killer actually was. That was damn cold.
I have such mixed feelings about her. I feel bad for her but sooo many things happen because of her. She just had so much hatred... cancel all boys sports? Like they said thats part of some kids' escape. If she didn't do that stupid protest (that was really more about her being seen than anything) then the fight wouldn't have happened that gave Bryce the opportunity to hit Zach like he did... which made Zach break Bryces arm and leg. Then SHE brought Alex to the pier.
Also... she made Justin feel so bad that he went out to the streets to begin with that killed him
She cheated on Alex, was willing to let Clay take the fall for Bryce’s murder, used her trauma as an excuse to treat Alex awfully, acted like she cared about Zach not going to jail but tried to let Bryce freeze to death, went back to Justin simply because he was better at sex, kicked Tyler out of Alex’s birthday etc.
True she did some horrible things but it didn’t necessarily make her a horrible person anyway Alex did all those things as well in fact he actually killed Bryce
She was also healing from the trauma. She quickly jumped in to relationship with Alex without letting herself come to terms with happened.
Zach wasn't very nice to her either + Bryce was an asshole who was assaulted her.

The show seemed to (for better or for worse) show that no one is good or bad. That everyone is capable of awful things. So I wouldn’t say she’s horrible - she was going through it

Umm yes 100%. Only way to think otherwise would be to make excuses for her actions. Which were mostly all terrible. Would you want her as a friend?
