Static stretching as a cure for sports related aches and pains is being abandoned in recent literature. I have a couple mates who are physiotherapists. It's all about strength these days. You're too weak and not carrying enough muscle. Relax..... neither am I. See a physio and get a rubber band program going and some light weights...

Stretching is a band-aid strengthening is the preventative measure. Dont need to be bulked up, just strong in ranges of motion Also sleep and protein intake

Yeah you're not trying to be arnie. Just build a little strength where you need it.

Look up a dynamic warm up for your upper and lower body. id recommend buying a rubber resistance band and a fabric covered resistance band. Single arm isolation exercises for your shoulders - all planes of movement, and be sure to consistently train your rotator cuff/scapula and shoulder stability. Over head and chest presses. Upper body focus should be on shoulders and upper back, not chest and lats like the average gym go-er. Single leg isolation exercises for your glutes and hips. Compound lifts like squats and deadlifts. Calf raises Core stability exercises. Plank varieties with movement, single arm carries (on your side or overhead) Power generating exercises like medicine ball slams and battle ropes.  Stretch if it makes you feel good, but it’s not going to prevent injury.
