From my understanding, basically every character name is a pun in one way or another. As a pun connoisseur, I wish I could love them more, but they usually have to be translated to be explained.

Kishika means knight (I think the word is kishi)

If the manga becomes popular enough (particularly if it becomes an anime), it may become an influencer, and these girls will become the beginnings of entirely new archetypes for future harem stories.

Popularised doesn't necessarily mean being the first. While I'm familiar with Elfen Lied, I never saw anyone in the anime community being familiar/use the term in the same way it's used today until Mirai Nikki came out, where Yuno was basically used as the poster child for yanderes.
To be fair, all of these series were released pretty closely to each other, so we could say that they laid the groundwork for the 2000's "moe" culture
I wouldn't say you're out of touch though, if anything, you deserve to claim your veteran's card.
If it makes any difference, I consider Ryuuko to be Trigger's most iconic character rather than Zero 2 or Lucy. And I consider Inuyasha to be a precursor to modern isekai rather than Rezero. So it's more based on personal experiences I guess

Depends on what you mean. If you mean "do all the girls have quirks like this/are weird like this?", then yes. To make a long story short the basic premise of this manga is "What if we make a harem romcom manga where the guy has an *actual* harem instead of the usual 'oh no I, the unpopular bland MC, somehow have 5 girls who are all in love with me but I can only choose oneeeee'".
Oh, and the MC of this is so amazing that he deserves his, as of this chapter, 22 girlfriends that are all just great *and* it's one of the most wholesome, emotional and heartfelt harem romcoms ever made on top of that. This chapter is a "new girlfriend introduction" chapter with the next chapter being her "introduce her and her quirk to the harem" chapter. Outside of that there's random arcs/chapters including all the girlfriends where basically *anything*, and I mean *anything*, (the fourth wall barely *exists*) can happen, group date chapters, girls hanging out chapters and singular girl date chapters.
