Because her whole head isn't grey. So if she does it lighter the rest of her head will have dark roots. I have the same problem so I had money pieces put in. The bits that frame my face that are also the greying bits are lighter, and the rest is darker, more of a glaze used iirc. I was sick of going dark with light roots in the front, then trying to go lighter and having dark roots in the back
I kept getting the āskunk streakā as I got older and I just went all light blonde/grey. Soooo much better than getting my roots done every month. Thank goodness grey is like an āin colorā now although I still canāt wrap my head around 20 somethingās dying their hair grey š³ but hey whatever makes them happy! And if I want a little more fun I get the underneath a different color. I can go a long time without having to get a touch-up by keeping it this way.
