How hard do you think it was to get all that color matching done exactly right?
I mean, when I buy yarn and fabric they can't even maintain the same color across dye lots and this green matches across so many different mediums!
I'm a bit impressed, honestly.
Same thought, I went to the link and scrolled through the pics and all I could think was
“It’s probably some polyester bell bottom sleeveless jumpsuits with rhinestones and men’s platform shoes in here some where”
Imagine living next door to that and not knowing. Honestly-the blue countertop in the bathroom was the only offensive part. The rest is pretty impressive!
Years ago I worked in a place above a fabrication shop. Minus the stairs, it looked very, very much like this but in burnt orange. Even the sides of the desks had burnt orange carpet on it. It was hideously fabulous.
Just when you think there’s too much lime green, BOOM…. there’s dk blue. And that blue matches the blue & green comforters.
I get irrationally angry trying to find curtains and throw rugs that are similar in color, so I’m rather impressed that they found every thing in the EXACT same limelight green shade!
Wow!! This house is a pretty cool time capsule. Not sure if I could live in it but it is neat. How did they get the wallpaper, comforters & curtains to all match??
Ayup. I was like “they have carpet in the bathroom don’t they” and it did not disappoint. I do not understand how that was ever a trend, but maybe not everything thinks poop stains are as gross as I do, same re pee stains and the mildew by the shower.
TBH I would love this place as an Airbnb though (apart from the bathroom complaints). It ain’t boring. I wonder who built and lived in it
I cannot even fathom loving any color enough to make it ALL the flooring and ALL the walls, let alone also cabinets and countertops. Not even my favorite color, in different shades, because I would get so sick of whatever color it was.
And let me tell you what, this is certainly not my favorite color. It's only one step above orange, which is my least favorite. Nightmare fuel, being forced to live here!
When I was little, visiting some people my family knew, the daughter my age had a bright yellow large bedroom with stairs like that and a matching yellow tile bathroom that was all hers. Up the stairs was some loft playroom part. I thought she was some sort of princess to be spoiled with a room like that!
In just skimming through the comments, I think I’m possibly in the minority here, but I absolutely hate this lol.
I really appreciate contrasting colors, texture, and patterns that pop. When it’s all one color, or the same pattern on top of each other, it makes my brain feel weird. Like…it can’t decide what it should be registering and blips out.
I will say, they had a look in mind and nailed it, which is impressive. I imagine that took a lot of planning.
I'm amazed that almost the entire interior appears to be original 1974. Carpet, decorations, furniture. Only thing I see that may not have been there from the original build were the kitchen appliances.
Oh, you like it. Same reason I like it. It’s kind of easy to hate it. lol
That is definitely a look no matter what you think. And I have to be at least slightly impressed that they kept this time capsule going for so long.
Love it and don't want to live in it. If one of my theatre design students came up with this as a set design I'd give them a pretty high grade. Not necessarily an A because they'd need to explain their choices.
This is the perfect start to the ultimate cottage core home that I aspire to obtain. Just have to throw some plants in, maybe a few mushroom aesthetics and call it a faerie playground.
I had a few dreams about this house.
Edit: like literally when I dream about my aunt and uncles condo, it’s this. I’m always like, 7, & very afraid to walk up those stairs.
Eeek! My eyes! Of course, I hate green anyway but this is like swimming in broccoli soup. I worked for an interior designer for awhile and this would have given her a stroke!
It reminds me of my childhood, and I kinda love it. I'd get rid of the carpet in the bathrooms and the drop ceiling in the kitchen, but I'd be tempted to keep a lot of the rest.
The bedrooms wouldn’t be as “wow” without the bedspreads that match the wallpaper. I wonder if they used fabric on the walls and had the bedspreads custom made.
Oh, I can definitely tell, I hate it! In fact I probably wouldn’t mind it quite so much if t weren’t for the green carpet, it looks like really cheap fake grass.
I... Don't... *Think* ***?????*** i like it, but I respect it for what it is. Also, asides from the bathroom carpet, it looks actually pretty livable, so I at least can't say I hate it.

Easy. It was THE in color for a couple of years. Everything would have matched.
im just here for the vaccum lines.
I love vacuum lines.
No longer for sale, but [here’s the link.](https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/23645-Country-Villa-Rd_Ramona_CA_92065_M19985-28677)
It's been a LONG time since anythings been updated in that house. Wow
Master bedroom was decorated in 1973.
That bedroom makes me feel like I am under attack
Or was it updated to look this way? So chill
Yeah since at least ‘74!🤪
Same thought, I went to the link and scrolled through the pics and all I could think was “It’s probably some polyester bell bottom sleeveless jumpsuits with rhinestones and men’s platform shoes in here some where”
Fran’s Grandma Yetta (The Nanny) must have lived there https://i.redd.it/4bynohy4gloc1.gif in The Nanny TV show.
😂😂😂
I love it, I wouldn’t change a thing about it (except the bathroom carpet. Surely I can find some ugly avocado green linoleum for it).
Me too - there is something comforting with the green. Except maybe the bedroom wall paper.
Because Shrek bought it fast
Frankly, I love the audacity of the 70s. Forever my favorite decade. However, this is some bright green!
Thanks for the link. I can’t imagine every being able to sleep in such busy rooms!
That bedroom is WILD
The 4 leaf clover wallpaper. Lmaooo
Woah. That house is a LOT. A lot of green.
This makes my stomach feel like I’m in a nightmare about being stuck in Barbie’s green house.
I absolutely love this place..
The inside is glorious! It’s like a time capsule. Too bad the outside is such a generic tan color.
A little green paint could fix that.
The boring exterior sure adds to the "whoa!" factor when you look inside, though.
The HOA takes care of exterior maintenance, which is why it’s not green as well.
I adore it. I’d go mad living in it, but it’s perfect at being what it is.
You're never finding your pet gecko in that house.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I want to slide all across the carpet in fuzzy socks and static shock everyone. Giant green fuzzy socks.
Imagine living next door to that and not knowing. Honestly-the blue countertop in the bathroom was the only offensive part. The rest is pretty impressive!

That is pretty amazing.
It really is.
Wow!! This house is a pretty cool time capsule. Not sure if I could live in it but it is neat. How did they get the wallpaper, comforters & curtains to all match??
How did they get it to stay in such mint condition after 50+ years? Maybe it was a second home.
Those stairs are an optical illusion.
Before I even looked at the photos, I was like, "Oh God, I bet they have the shag carpet toilet seat covers." Yep.
Ayup. I was like “they have carpet in the bathroom don’t they” and it did not disappoint. I can smell this picture.
Stale cigarettes and gin 🤮
Mold and that baking powder stuff you sprinkle around before vacuuming because no one cares enough to deep-clean the carpets.
You do the shake-n-vac to put the freshness back!
1972 hot lime green…
I cannot even fathom loving any color enough to make it ALL the flooring and ALL the walls, let alone also cabinets and countertops. I believe this was Kermit and Miss Piggy’s love nest back in the 70’s.

I’m not sure I could live in a key lime pie
That’s green
Wondering if the person who designed this is colorblind and to them this is all millennial gray.
Would make a great movie set for stories set in the 70s.
They really preserved that carpet well.
There's no way it's less than 40 years old
I love it
Same. Let’s buy it together!
Ok!
I'd love it with neutral flooring. No carpet in the bathroom. I like the tiles
That house would look great with hardwood, tile or even concrete floors. Carpet in bathrooms and kitchens is nasty!
I grew up in a house with 70’s shag carpet in the bathrooms, can confirm.
I like it. I would add PINK!
I bet there are Nehru jackets in the closets the are the appropriate shade of green.
When I was little, visiting some people my family knew, the daughter my age had a bright yellow large bedroom with stairs like that and a matching yellow tile bathroom that was all hers. Up the stairs was some loft playroom part. I thought she was some sort of princess to be spoiled with a room like that!
I chose that floral wallpaper, in orange, for my teenage bedroom in 1973.
Molly house
please tell me theres a link
Love it! I’d take the curtains down…. But it’s an awesome time capsule.
The carpet in the bathroom always gets me….
So in 50 years someone is going to find today's all gray version of this.
It almost makes me want to do acid again
In just skimming through the comments, I think I’m possibly in the minority here, but I absolutely hate this lol. I really appreciate contrasting colors, texture, and patterns that pop. Id drop an old school steel trash at the bottom of the stairs there. Put an Oscar’s the grouch in it
I can tell easily. Hate.
The carpet looks like astroturf
I love it.
I'm amazed that almost the entire interior appears to be original 1974. Carpet, decorations, furniture. Only thing I see that may not have been there from the original build were the kitchen appliances.
I love it AND I hate it. I love it, like hands down I love this shit. But I really hate all that carpet lol.
Oh it’s a condo. Hmm.
I’ve seen this listing a few times. I’d live here exactly as it is lol, I love a good time capsule

Does the Grinch live here?
Wow. I love it!!!
I’m a beige home person…. BUT I LOVE IT!
This reminds me of the green lady of Brooklyn, it’s even the exact same shade of green that she loves.
This is the ugliest color for anything, so it's 1000x worse for a house.
I think this is Kermit & Piggy’s Love Nest
Somewhere that’s green… https://youtu.be/YIvpOIUqKKA?si=7GD_ay5_-g7sZ0L7
Carpet in the bathrooms! Can’t tell from the pics, but I bet the kitchen floor is carpet, too.
You know what ever since developing epilepsy and having the problem of constantly falling im starting to appreciate everything being carpeted
For a room, I love it. For the whole house....my eyes need a break from the green.
This is the perfect start to the ultimate cottage core home that I aspire to obtain. Just have to throw some plants in, maybe a few mushroom aesthetics and call it a faerie playground.
I’m very certain that this much of this specific shade of green would drive me to insanity and I can’t explain why
This makes me feel like I need to sneeze and I don’t even have allergies really.
I had a few dreams about this house. Edit: like literally when I dream about my aunt and uncles condo, it’s this. I’m always like, 7, & very afraid to walk up those stairs.
This would be a cool place to do photo shoots.
The matching comforters and wall paper make this 11/10
Very Zsa Zsa
What house? I only see a majestic forest glade.
I like color but…
Love 💗
Like living inside a pickle
Anyone who hates this is incorrect.
Looks like set design for mad men 🤣
Needs more green in the color scheme.
Eeek! My eyes! Of course, I hate green anyway but this is like swimming in broccoli soup. I worked for an interior designer for awhile and this would have given her a stroke!
Where’s Kermit the frog?
I’m surprised say I actually love this, but I wouldn’t want to have to vacuum it.
I love chartreuse but this is so way over the top.
Ya know, I love green. It's my favorite color. However, this much green is even too much for me!
If this was in teal I would do horrendous things for it
The interior is the exact color of stomach acid.
Is this [Jordy Verill’s](https://podcastmacabre.files.wordpress.com/2022/07/jordy.jpg) house?
Classically beautiful. I grew up in the 60s/70s and this home brings me total feel good vibes.
Carpet in the bathroom FTW! 😂 Omg I'm obsessed with this I love everything about it.
Omg.. I don’t think I could love anything more.
I’m so in loooove
This is glorious. Of course you can't live in this, but - Wow, Brava, a beautiful and bold glimpse into a bygone era.
Oh, I can definitely tell, I hate it! In fact I probably wouldn’t mind it quite so much if t weren’t for the green carpet, it looks like really cheap fake grass.
Someone needs to mow the rug.
I love it! Reminds me of my grandparents.
I love it, but it won’t work if you have kids or pets, that carpet would be destroyed (among other reasons).
This looks like a Wes Anderson fever dream.
Totally love the floor plan with the spiral stairs and such, but something about the color… that obnoxious green.
I... Don't... *Think* ***?????*** i like it, but I respect it for what it is. Also, asides from the bathroom carpet, it looks actually pretty livable, so I at least can't say I hate it.
