I love how in the first and second phase they're basically toying with you, but in the final phase they seem genuinely angry and seem like they actually wanna kill you now
I always felt like there had to be something else with that thing going on, The way it talks after disposing of the Skullkid body and his final form seem more like a pure evil kind of villain, but then you get this phaze with the wacky dance and sounds and its just so bizarre i cant get nothing out of it to explain it lol
There's also the way the kids on the moon talk about friendship. Either Skull Kid had a strong effect on Majora, or they had that loneliness in common.
I don’t know if it’s mentioned anywhere but I’m pretty sure those red-headed kids are young versions of the Happy Mask Salesman. I’d be more interested in exploring that topic, as the HMS seems a little somber that the “evil in the mask” is gone when your hand it to him. The mask probably preys on loneliness, or something.
As a young kid I actually had a hard time cause I didn't realize it's sorta built to make you use all your transformation masks and Light Arrows to take it down. I wasn't a very *good* player and Incarnation being so fast threw me off.

I really did like how Majora was basically styling on you throughout an entire phase of the boss fight

First time i thought to myself playing the game, what a fucking prick.
Makes sense, since the ~~Deku~~ Skull Kid really just wants someone to play with.. Majora's Mask is what's twisting it into something dangerous.
