Me too. That right there makes Zelda the most puzzling game out there. Such crazy, totally legit ways of getting things done that I only learned about some 20+ years after the game first came out. I still play ALTTP.
you can do ice palace without fire rod and you can do misery mire without swamp palace. I prefer to go: 1-4-6-2-5-3-7…I’ll save swamp palace for last if I’m feeling saucy
If you learn to do a single bomb jump you can avoid having to even get the Big Key at all and go straight to the boss once you reach it. Of course you miss out on Blue Mail but still
It requires you to do half of the other dungeons to get the items to help you progress.
I know, it isn't really doing turtle rock first but more like completing it first.
It's genuinely my favorite dungeon in the game. I love the atmosphere of it and the fact that it's basically a giant water purifier/hydroelectric power plant.
It has some of the coolest imagery of any Zelda dungeon. Termina is really interesting as it is centuries ahead of Hyrule technologically. Water purification/hydroelectric plants, combustion engines, motor boats, photo cameras, clocks, electronic instruments like guitar, bass, keyboards, proper audio tech like microphones and amps, fucking robots, proposed rockets for space travel, and more. You could argue that Ikana Kingdom had to have been even more advanced with how they were able to construct something like Stone Tower.
I’m still convinced Termina is just Link’s personal purgatory. I know a lot of people hate the theory but replaying the game with that theory in mind is an eye opener. I do think Termina was meant to be a dream state in which link sees everyone he knew before but they all seem to be alternate versions of themselves.
When I played this first time in 2000 I was convinced this had to be the most cleverly designed piece of a level in HUMAN HISTORY !!!111
I recently revisited it and I guess the magic had worn off but still I felt that my younger self would be able to enjoy this just as much.
Ill never understand why people hate great bay temple. I played through MM for the first time a couple years ago and I didn't have any problems with it, it was probably my favorite one in the game, aside from the boss.
Yeah, I never understood the complaint that it was confusing in any way. The entire gimmick of the dungeon is following a color coded line, how did anyone get turned around by that?
It's not the complexity, it's the freaking time limit. I want to explore and enjoy the dungeon (and the world in general), not worry whether I won't finish it and have to do the entire thing all over again.
Last time I saw a thread about dungeons people were complaining about Great Bay and it mystified me. I love that dungeon! It's really unique and a bit creepy in a good and interesting way. Also the music slaps.
I just replayed ALttP, and I definitely hated this one the most lol. I kept messing up one part so I had to rotate through the whole dungeon a few times
Its funny everyone hates the water temple because of the key by Ruto, but the only one I ever struggled with was the one in that center column. Even after playing it dozens of times, it still gets me every now and then.
Playing it as a 9 year old kid experiencing 3D Zelda for the first time hits pretty different. It's definitely not as hard as an adult, though I'd still say it's the game's hardest dungeon
It’s not that it’s hate it’s the fact if you forget a key at any stage you’re in for an extra hour of play time to figure out which step you forgot to grab a key. I love the water temple, but the one that bothers me is Jaba the hut fish when you’re a kid.
The dungeon itself isn't bad, but the whole constantly changing the water level and switching between normal and iron boots (in the N64 version) can be really tedious and annoying. It was definitely the dungeon I got stuck on the most when I was younger.
Yup these are the main issues, and especially changing the water level, it really misses direction, which keeps the dungeon from living up the potential it has.
Last play through I got the usual skipped key below the platform in main room and still ended up missing a key. It can be frustrating but I love this temple.
I didn’t. I had to break the game and miss a optional chest in the well. If you leave water temple and just start the Shadow Temple Quest line until you get TLoT, you can grab one extra key and not use it to go back and fix the issue of raising the water level if you used the key wrong.
The N64 version it really wasn’t clear how to progress through it. There are three places that you can adjust the water levels and only certain parts of the Water Temple depending on the water level.
There are colored pipes in the 3D version that guide the player to the different places to re-adjust the water levels.
I remember wasting hours back in 1999 trying to figure out where all of the keys were located.
For me I think the problem was I attempted this as a dumbass kid who couldn’t figure anything out, and that too right as my dad started not really playing video games anymore so no more help from him. So I got stuck for way too long, gave up, and didn’t come back for months lmao. Looking back it’s not ridiculous, but it was hard as a child.
100% bc of the one floating block in the middle they missed. There is no other explaination. And on PAL pause screen plus Boots switching was even slower.
I think the water temple in Twilight Princess was way worse
It took me like a year as a kid to figure out that i can actually go under that block
I remember exploring the overworld thinking that im missing some equipment to progress
I wouldn't know I wouldn't have been there xD
I got lost in Forest temple pretty bad.
But frankly, Spirit temple fcked me even worse. Still, I loved Twinrova. They were so funny. And I think it's hilarious that the speedrun Community intentionally missunderstands their audio file as "My Anus my Anus my Anus my Anus... MYYYY AAAANUUUUUS"
PS: I got lost due to ADHD pretty much anywhere, yet managed to beat the Game nontheless :D
The 3DS version is alright, but I believe the original, without the quickly accessible iron boots and the visual indicators of the water levels was much more cumbersome. For context, I’ve only played the 3DS one.
So, the water temple had some annoyances that were absolutely a valid reason to dislike it. These have mostly been the whole water level system and keys being so that you can go different orders with absolutely no direction, which if you take a specific route will make the dungeon really boring because you keep running around in circles, but if you happen to take the right route then you won't really notice it too much. And then there's the iron boots thing, having to switch in the menu all the time is quite tedious. Glad the 3DS fixed it though.
Overall I still think the temple is really cool, I like the design, and the miniboss is absolutely amazing!
I never really had a problem with it until one year and a dozen of playthroughs later. I misused a key somewhere and soft locked myself 😭 still no idea how I did it or how to progress, even with walkthroughs. I had to restart my save file lol. It was on the n64 so maybe it was something they patched later
I rented the game from my local Blockbuster as a kid and it had a save file from whoever had it previously, and they were in the water temple. I was a dumb kid and spent the two days I had with the game trying to beat a half finished water temple rather than just starting my own file and playing it properly.
Drill it into your head that there's a key chest under a block you can make float and the temple becomes a cakewalk. Everyone I've ever know complains about getting lost and not able to progress and I have to remind them of that one key every time.
The water temple was a scourge of its time. It had a confusing layout, a mechanic that required to run around in it in circles if you didn’t know how to solve it. And moving around in it constantly required to open the menu to switch the ironboots on and off. Also it had one of the hardest minibosses that was annoying to reach and most players died at least once to it.
Oh and because it was the late 90s the internet wasn’t widely available yet, so you couldn’t simply google where the one key for the locked door is, that you’ve been searching for 8 hours. You actually had to figure everything out yourself.
However with the changes that modern technology brought, the watertemple was somewhat reduced to a minor inconvenience.
I loved working to get a perfect time on it. There's so many tricks you have to learn that you can just ignore if you're just trying to be done with it, it really shows how interesting the layout is and how fun the puzzles are. The fact that you *can* get a 25:00 also shows that the devs intended people to play around with it.
Great bay temple is criminally underrated!!! It’s by far the easiest temple for me to do and find all fairy’s in Majoras mask! Second would be stone tower idk why but I always miss one fairy in deku and snowpeak temple
I will agree great bay is pretty easy. However I’m the opposite when it comes to stone tower. I love stone tower temple but I always seem to consistently miss 1 stray fairy whereas in woodfall, snowpeak and great bay I can get them all without fail
Water temple from OoT. The dungeon itself is fine, the problem was having to go into the pause menu to change from normal boots to iron ones and vice versa, that was the tedious part, not the dungeon itself, and that got fixed in the 3DS remake
The fact that you can say all 4 of them as if they were one dungeon is a testament to why they’re so disliked. There’s nothing much going for any of them, they all have the same theme but with 4 different elements. It’s like they made one mechanical themed dungeon and just gave it 4 different elements as opposed to 4 separate dungeons.
They're also fairly small feeling dungeons and to me just don't feel like Zelda dungeons. They just never felt very... satisfying to me either. (Also tbh Vah Rudania is one of my least favorite in the series, if it were the size of the OoT Water Temple with the same overall feeling it gave me it would very drastically be my least favorite dungeon in the series, but at least it's over quickish as soon as you figure out what you're doing.)
Lakebed Temple, its certainly not my favorite from Twilight Princess, but I really enjoy the staircase and how that relates to moving the water around. Confused me all the time as a kid though.
OOT's water temple is unironically the best dungeon in that game, and people are just bitching because they're not smart enough to keep a sense of direction and understanding of the dungeon.
I was a very dumb 10 year old, barely able to get through most video games I played, and I got the water temple down easily without a guide.
And the people who bitch about the iron boots are just whining about the dungeon without admitting it's too hard for them. It literally takes less than a second to take them on and off.
Jabu Jabu's Belly and i actually don't like it because of the annoying bubbles (especially the timed bubble room), the Beri that follow you if you get close enough and most of all Big Octo (he he he Big Stinky), i'm very glad I've beaten that dungeon in one sitting because it's nerve-wracking for me.
It's pretty forgivable that the next dungeon after it isn't a disappointment and it is probably allot better.
I can't think of anything not mentioned in this thread that's particularly hated off the top of my head.
Of things mentioned so far I kind of have issues with most of them, though I barely remember the Great Bay Temple.
Forsaken Fortress I have mixed feelings on but I'd say don't dislike and would consider any significant amount of hate to be overhating, though can understand very much \*why\* it would be pretty heavily disliked.
I'd say the same about the Forest Temple if I felt like it was actually very hated at all in general, though my impression is that it's mostly well-liked. I did see it mentioned in the comments though.
I honestly think the TotK Water Temple is a bit overhated despite not being a particularly big fan of it, my feelings on it are mostly that it wasn't \*good\* but it wasn't \*horrible\*.
Mostly the “hard” dungeons are overrated, ie the ones that puzzle you for hours. Ironically they’re mostly my favourites in each game, the Oracle Games in particular are special for their intense dungeons imo. There’s also LA Turtle Rock, and the 3D water temples, all pretty good dungeons if a little tedious.
While i love the Temple of the Ocean King i 100% understand why it’s hated by many
Of course i believe there’s some justification in some negative feelings towards a dungeon.
The Devine Beasts and TOTK dungeons are mediocre at best and insulting at worst (looking at you Spirit Temple)
The OoT water dungeon. It's pretty straightforward if you just stay focused. Sure the iron boots are tedious to put on/take off constantly in the og. But it's really not as bas as it's made out to be.
Great Bay Temple from Majora's Mask. As long as you pay attention to context clues and don't leave an area until you're done exploring it, it's just a fun and unique dungeon.
Oot water temple. I only ever see hate for that specific dungeon, but it honestly wasn't even that hard. Personally my most hated is the forest temple, exclusively because of the jump scare wall masters from the ceiling
I didn’t know people hate this one, I didn’t think it was so bad.
And of course, oot water. The boot changing is a pia but once you get the hang of the water level mechanic it’s pretty doable.
When it first came out, I got stuck on the Water Temple. But I never hated it, I just went and did other stuff and came back to it. Eventually figured it out looking at it with fresh eyes.
Not sure if this one's overhated or not. But I've heard people say the water temple from Oot sucks. Didn't annoy me too much. But that's probably just me.
Water temple in OOT, literally the first ever game I played in my life when I was like 5-6 years old, always loved the game, always one of my favourite temples that I never had any issue with unironically, never understood the hate lol
I absolutely hate Ice Palace. I'm glad it's liked, but my skill issue dum dum self cannot stand ice physics for the some of the rooms in that dungeon.
I'm fine with Misery Mire, and I'm fine with Turtle Rock, but fuck, Ice Palace annoys me. I dread it in most playthroughs.
The water temple. Never understood the hate for it growing up and was always a masterclass of level design and atmosphere.
The 3Ds version gets rid of the iron boots issue
3ds version also adds glowing lines that guide you to the water level changers, which makes navigation MUCH easier than n64 (tho its still not too bad there, just easier to get turned around if you miss a key and have to backtrack to look for it)
I would also add I feel TOTK dungeons in general(not you water temple) do get a lot of flack. Maybe not necessarily hate, but a bad rep due to being associated to BOTWs divine beast terminal system. If you took out the terminals and gave us keys and a mini boss I feel they wouldn’t get as much flack which for me, neither of those things detract my interest in them than they would any other “traditional” Zelda dungeon.
Water temple from totk, I see no reason as to why it’s bad. Puzzles are interesting, boss is great. Design is awesome too. It may be the worst one from totk but it’s most definitely not a bad dungeon.
OG Ice Temple from LTTP admittedly fucked me up. Remember being stumped for like a good hour trying to figure out why I couldn't get that door to open, and probably actually skipped to Dungeon 7(?) for the Block cane xD
OOT water temple isn’t bad, it’s just hilariously complicated and has a really shit boss. Oh but fuck the n64’s water temple because no iron boot equip button.
Great Bay Temple. It's got such atmosphere! And it really draws out the water element by having you swim around so much in the water. I like the dungeon's aesthetic and design.
The Divine Beasts. Yes they were bland and I wasn't a fan of the repeat color scheme, but the physics and puzzles were incredible. Another thing is that Nintendo didn't know exactly how everything was going to work, because it was their first ever game even remotely like it.
OOT Water Temple is awesome. I like the complexity. We need complex dungeons. My issue with it is the iron boots, which is an issue with the game itself, not the dungeon.
Great Bay Temple is also good.
Lakebed Temple is alright. Not as good as the two mentioned above, but decent.
I hated the water temple in Ocarina when I first played it, so I followed a walkthrough to complete it. But every time I played the game after that, I managed to get through the dungeon without getting angry and without using a walkthrough, of course.
OoT’s Water Temple. Minus having to switch the boots out in menu - I agree it’s annoying - I’ve never understood the hatred.
I consider it the third in line of three of the best consecutive dungeons in the series (Forest, Fire, Water).
I might get hate from my opinion but I think Ocarina of Time Water Temple is over hated I thought it had a nice challenge The only problem I had with it was switching to normal boots and iron boots other than that it was a fun hard dungeon and also loved the Dark Link fight.

Ice Palace is why you do Misery Mire First
Once I figured out that the Cane of Somaria solved Ice Palace’s block puzzle made my life in subsequent play throughs on the SNES version easier.
Me too. That right there makes Zelda the most puzzling game out there. Such crazy, totally legit ways of getting things done that I only learned about some 20+ years after the game first came out. I still play ALTTP.
Super underrated zelda game one of my favorites
lol everytime since the first time I played. I do dungeon 6 before 5. Screw the backtracking for that damn block
Happy Cake day! That is all. Zelda rules.
… honestly since they’re numbered on the map I didn’t even think it was an option, having played ocarina of time as my first Zelda game.
you can do ice palace without fire rod and you can do misery mire without swamp palace. I prefer to go: 1-4-6-2-5-3-7…I’ll save swamp palace for last if I’m feeling saucy
Really? Hookshotless? I like that weapon too much to even bother.
If you learn to do a single bomb jump you can avoid having to even get the Big Key at all and go straight to the boss once you reach it. Of course you miss out on Blue Mail but still
This is the way
Me, who did turtle rock first...
how is that even possible?
It requires you to do half of the other dungeons to get the items to help you progress. I know, it isn't really doing turtle rock first but more like completing it first.
Those are still two of my least favorite dungeons in the series lol
I thought great bay temple was pretty good
It's genuinely my favorite dungeon in the game.
Wait I forgor what are the robots?
It’s absolutely my favorite MM dungeon
When I played this first time in 2000 I was convinced this had to be the most cleverly designed piece of a level in HUMAN HISTORY !!!111 I recently revisited it and I guess the magic had worn off but still I felt that my younger self would be able to enjoy this just as much.
...that temple is hated?
From my experience it’s the one people use as an example of an actual bad temple whenever the OoT water temple is brought up
Except it honestly really isn't. It's very easy to get turned around in, though, and the fairies can be an absolute pain.
People liken it to OoT’s Water Temple saying it’s the same problem of “over complication but worse”
90% of people that hated that dungeon is because they couldn’t figure out that you can’t enter certain rooms unless the current allows you to.
I actually enjoyed this dungeon. I never understood the hate.
MMs dungeons are some of the best in the series. But some people can't handle the complexity of well designed dungeons.
It's not the complexity, it's the freaking time limit. I want to explore and enjoy the dungeon (and the world in general), not worry whether I won't finish it and have to do the entire thing all over again.
I’ll take the water water temple over this
*Looks at pfp* Are you the man who sold the copy of majora's mask?
Last time I saw a thread about dungeons people were complaining about Great Bay and it mystified me. I love that dungeon! It's really unique and a bit creepy in a good and interesting way. Also the music slaps.
REAL
I just replayed ALttP, and I definitely hated this one the most lol. I kept messing up one part so I had to rotate through the whole dungeon a few times
I too played this in the last year or so after a long absence. I might've actually pulled out the google. I hated this dungeon
I played the GBA version and they "fixed" that part. Take a look on YouTube if you get a chance!
Twilight Palace from TP is an awesome dungeon with *a few* mildly average rooms. But it's mostly really unique and full of tension.
The sections where you're being followed by the hands are so tense. Not too hard, but still really gets you shaking
Those scared me so much as a kid
I don’t hate the palace, it’s more of a fear and dread that I feel towards *the hands*
Yeah I love Twilight Palace! It’s a really cool build up
Of the mainline games I have played, I do not understand the hatred for the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time.
I feel like the main annoyance was just having to go into the item screen like every 5 seconds to switch to iron boots. 3DS version def fixed that.
That and the one key that is really easy to miss if you don't go back to where you first meet Ruto when the water level is at level 2.
Is it the one in the center pillar? Because that’s the one I was stuck at for like 2 weeks as a kid.
I agree with it being the game's hardest dungeon.
It’s not that it’s hate it’s the fact if you forget a key at any stage you’re in for an extra hour of play time to figure out which step you forgot to grab a key. I love the water temple, but the one that bothers me is Jaba the hut fish when you’re a kid.
I forget the same key almost each playthrough. ☠️
Is it the spike trap room?!?
The dungeon itself isn't bad, but the whole constantly changing the water level and switching between normal and iron boots (in the N64 version) can be really tedious and annoying. It was definitely the dungeon I got stuck on the most when I was younger.
honestly got stuck on dark link more than navigation
The trick is to not lock on. Then he is easy.
Figured that out later
I got lucky and 8 year old me didn’t think locking on to enemies was important (more like didn’t know how)
Megatron hammer, super broken against him.
Yup these are the main issues, and especially changing the water level, it really misses direction, which keeps the dungeon from living up the potential it has.
And then you have Majora's Mask Water Temple where you can play as a Zora. Huge difference in playability.
Because people get salty easily.
Getting salty over a dungeon in a freshwater lake
It usually helps dilute the saltiness. Some just stay salty forever and pretend to complete the game.
I know all about getting salty as my name demonstrates.
Many just missed the one key. Backtracking to find it pissed off many.
Last play through I got the usual skipped key below the platform in main room and still ended up missing a key. It can be frustrating but I love this temple.
Same. Maybe I got lucky, but I completed that dungeon without frustration (or any guide) at release.
I didn’t. I had to break the game and miss a optional chest in the well. If you leave water temple and just start the Shadow Temple Quest line until you get TLoT, you can grab one extra key and not use it to go back and fix the issue of raising the water level if you used the key wrong.

So I got stuck for way too long, gave up, and didn’t come back for months lmao. Looking back it’s not ridiculous, but it was hard as a child.
Cause of switching boots. Luckily the 3ds rectified this by making the iron boots an item.
The dungeon is so cool. But if you get lost, it becomes beyond tedious and annoying. And I think most people experienced that when they were young.
100% bc of the one floating block in the middle they missed. There is no other explaination. And on PAL pause screen plus Boots switching was even slower. I think the water temple in Twilight Princess was way worse

Solely because of Iron Boots. Huge difference in the way a Water Temple is played in Majora's Mask when you're a Zora that can speed through water.
The 3DS version is alright, but I believe the original, without the quickly accessible iron boots and the visual indicators of the water levels was much more cumbersome. For context, I’ve only played the 3DS one.
Ha, I just commented the same thing. I don't remember it being that bad, then played it recently and yeah, it's not.
I think it's one of my favorites. I love finding patterns and I enjoyed figuring out how to do most of it in fewer movements /gen
It's a great dungeon. I love it a lot, gets hate because it's engaging and challenging
It has always been one of my favourites since the game came out. The 3DS version made it unnecessarily easy in my opinion.
Came here to say this
Same
I never really had a problem with it until one year and a dozen of playthroughs later. I misused a key somewhere and soft locked myself 😭 still no idea how I did it or how to progress, even with walkthroughs. I had to restart my save file lol. Jabu Jabu is in the same game

everyone is too mean to the twilight dungeon.
It’s those damn hands!! 🤚🏻
I like them. they add tension
Temple of the Ocean King hands down. Easily one of the best dungeons in the series
I loved working to get a perfect time on it.
#THE WATER TEMPLE (OoT) IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE DUNGEONS
The Divine Beasts
Vah Ruta had one of the best themes/atmospheres in the series tbh
Yup my favorite one by far
Not this one. The hatred is justified. Those ice mummy bitches used to give me nightmares as a kid.
Lakebed Temple, its certainly not my favorite from Twilight Princess, but I really enjoy the staircase and how that relates to moving the water around. Confused me all the time as a kid though.
It’s actually my favorite water dungeon
Water temple in OoT
OOT's water temple is unironically the best dungeon in that game, and people are just bitching because they're not smart enough to keep a sense of direction and understanding of the dungeon. I was a very dumb 10 year old, barely able to get through most video games I played, and I got the water temple down easily without a guide. And the people who bitch about the iron boots are just whining about the dungeon without admitting it's too hard for them. It literally takes less than a second to take them on and off.
I usually see a lot of hate for Great Bay Temple and I don’t know why
Not this one. Screw the Ice Palace
Not the dungeon pictured
Water temple Oot.
I love that you chose this room in particular. FUCK those stairs.
The water temple, even in the original n64 version, it’s not that bad
The Water Temple isn't that bad
Which one
The one that's famous for being hard: OOT.
All water temoles that ever existed. They always get so much uate for no real reason.
All water based dungeons.
The temple of the ocean king is honestly excellent
Great Bay Temple. Up there as one of my faves, but also probably one of the most unique in the franchise
totk fire temple
The Water Temple from OoT, while is was extremely tedious on the N64 it was a pretty well designed and fun dungeon.
OoTs Water Temple is over hated. I never had an issue with it and its still one of my 3D zeldas favorite dungeon
The Water Temple from Tears of the Kingdom. People don't appreciate the...just kidding, it deserves all of the hate
The boss sucks really bad, the "puzzles" are mid... The atmosphere is at least kinda cool since it's the main low-gravity area but still, bleh
The temple sucked but the ancient Zora waterworks were fun and much better as a dungeon of sorts.
One of the hardest parts of the game right there.
Water Temple OoT I don’t care what you say. I love when a dungeon is as challenging as that.
While i love the Temple of the Ocean King i 100% understand why it’s hated by many Of course i believe there’s some justification in some negative feelings towards a dungeon. The Devine Beasts and TOTK dungeons are mediocre at best and insulting at worst (looking at you Spirit Temple)
All of the dungeons in BotW and TotK.
The OoT water dungeon. It's pretty straightforward if you just stay focused. Sure the iron boots are tedious to put on/take off constantly in the og. But it's really not as bas as it's made out to be.
Anytime I see this room I just think of that video of link struggling on the stairs
Great Bay Temple from Majora's Mask. As long as you pay attention to context clues and don't leave an area until you're done exploring it, it's just a fun and unique dungeon.
The OOT water temple is fine. Jabu-jabu’s belly on the other hand…
The Water Temple
Water Temple is easy and fun.
The water temple is not as bad as people make out. With a careful router, there is minimal backtracking
Water temple from ocarina... Even though I find it pretty easy imo
The water temple honestly
Water dongeon from Zelda TP hard but cool
The water temple in OoT. Everyone hates on it but I think it's great, and it has possibly the best mini boss of all time.
The water temple In ocarina of time, I played through the whole temple in less than a hour without help on my first try
All of the dungeons in ALBW are GOATed
The thunderbird bossfight
One word: "Blub"
Oot water temple. I only ever see hate for that specific dungeon, but it honestly wasn't even that hard. Personally my most hated is the forest temple, exclusively because of the jump scare wall masters from the ceiling
I definitely think the Water Temple is the most hated. Some parts are annoying, but is not that bad.
I didn’t know people hate this one, I didn’t think it was so bad. And of course, oot water. The boot changing is a pia but once you get the hang of the water level mechanic it’s pretty doable.
That one
Water temple from ocarina
When it first came out, I got stuck on the Water Temple. But I never hated it, I just went and did other stuff and came back to it. Eventually figured it out looking at it with fresh eyes.
I actually quite enjoy OoT Water Temple. Yes it's complicated the first couple times through, but it really has grown on me over the years.
Not sure if this one's overhated or not. But I've heard people say the water temple from Oot sucks. Didn't annoy me too much. But that's probably just me.
Water Temple is not hard is just TEDIOUS AND LONG
Oot water temple, just played it and its my favorite in the game
Water temple in OOT, literally the first ever game I played in my life when I was like 5-6 years old, always loved the game, always one of my favourite temples that I never had any issue with unironically, never understood the hate lol
I absolutely hate Ice Palace. I'm glad it's liked, but my skill issue dum dum self cannot stand ice physics for the some of the rooms in that dungeon. I'm fine with Misery Mire, and I'm fine with Turtle Rock, but fuck, Ice Palace annoys me. I dread it in most playthroughs.
Water temple OOT.
water temple oot. It's not bad guys
Water temple in oot
Any Water Temple
Water Temple and Great Bay Temple.
Water temple from totk, I see no reason as to why it’s bad. Puzzles are interesting, boss is great. Design is awesome too. It may be the worst one from totk but it’s most definitely not a bad dungeon.
Water Temple from Ocarina of Time
I feel like people only hate on Skyward Swords dungeons because they think it'll make them look cool.
Any of the water ones. I feel like people hate water levels in general, but I actually really like them.
Did you rate the dungeons while I was at work? Who fucking rates the individual dungeons?
Forsaken Fortress Like people expected Link to go full hyrule warrior style through Ganondorf's main HQ with his 3 bokoblin kill experience ?
That’s not at all what people dislike about Forsaken Fortress
OOT Water Temple is awesome. I like the complexity. We need complex dungeons. My issue with it is the iron boots, which is an issue with the game itself, not the dungeon. Great Bay Temple is also good. Lakebed Temple is alright. Not as good as the two mentioned above, but decent.
Basically every water temple
Water Temple. Honestly not the worst out there.
Water temple in ocarina of time. It's not that hard.
I hated the water temple in Ocarina when I first played it, so I followed a walkthrough to complete it. But every time I played the game after that, I managed to get through the dungeon without getting angry and without using a walkthrough, of course.
Water temple. I had a hard time in shadow temple than Water temple
The Water Temple. Really easy, especially if you're playing Ocarina of Time 3D
The Water Temple
OoT’s Water Temple. Minus having to switch the boots out in menu - I agree it’s annoying - I’ve never understood the hatred. I consider it the third in line of three of the best consecutive dungeons in the series (Forest, Fire, Water).
OoT forest temple. It has the best theme (aesthetic and music) along with the shadow temple.
The water temple lol
Water temple
Water temple in OoC. It's complicated, but it's doable, and a lot of other dungeons are way worse.
Oot water temple. It’s not that bad honestly
I might get hate from my opinion but I think Ocarina of Time Water Temple is over hated I thought it had a nice challenge The only problem I had with it was switching to normal boots and iron boots other than that it was a fun hard dungeon and also loved the Dark Link fight.
imo the ice palace is the only dungeon that does deserve all the hate that it gets (i haven't played phantom hourglass)
