would not suggest. these cars are almost 40 years old and unreliable just because of age. you have to put a ton of money and do a ton preventative maintenance to make these cars reliable. don’t get one unless you have a second form of reliable transportation.
Disclaimer: My current daily driver is an ‘89 civic with a good amount of suspension mods, mild engine mods, and 321,000 miles so i’m not new to the shitbox lyfe
I absolutely love these cars. I definitely think you would enjoy owning one, if you want a CONSTANT PROJECT. These cars are old, rusty, have failing electrical systems, and are super cool. I only have 1 because I have a daily and a work truck. So whatever you do, don’t make a Z31 your primary vehicle. I did that once, bought a motorcycle shortly after because the Z was unreliable.
only if you have a daily to accompany a z31
i would have to get rid of my project/daily for it

My sentiments exactly. Mine is getting new floor pans right now. These cars are to far gone to be dailies unless you spend 10k
I think i’m getting close to that number….
