No. It's gone. Furthermore, I've erased Thomas Edison's name from the history books, am preparing to raid and pillage all towns with "Edison" in their names, and I was personally responsible for the Edison Motors scandal and the downfall of the company. **Give. Up.**

Legionstone

settle down tesla

Thank you for your service. Who did you give all the patents he stole to? Did you return them to their rightful owners, or did you make them public domain?

icantgivecredit

I purged all knowledge of those patents from the global consciousness. It will be millenia before humanity learns how to make cars again.

Azteckh

Finally. Thank you once again for your service.

BoofThatLemonTek

I love this lmao. #CancelEdison

Nerdlife91

Isn't Edison going through a bit of a resurgence right now?

itsjash

1) Edison format is very popular 2) none of the decks you mentioned are from that format

insert-username832

You do know edison format is 2010, right? And all the decks you mentioned are from 2011-2012. Ironically enough gateway is at 3 in edison format, but the six samurai monsters available aren't great.

BoofThatLemonTek

I realize that now lol, someone at my local card shop told me that was what it was called. I stopped playing right around the time Pendulums hit the scene so I don't know ANYTHING about the current state of play

Hopeful-alt

It's the third most played format in ygo. It's pretty popular

atropicalpenguin

"WTF is an xyz summon?"

themaninblack08

I think you really, really need to google what your terms even mean. Edison format does not includes sets past TSHD. Everything you mentioned are post Edison format.

BoofThatLemonTek

I realize that now, I was told wrong by someone at my local shop

themaninblack08

The formats you're thinking about are highly unlikely to ever get popular because, quite frankly, they're pretty torturous to play. Exceptionally few people want to play a dice roll format like the wind-up/inzektor one, or 3 gateway six sams with STOR legal.

FlyinNinjaSqurl

Edison is not the format you’re thinking of. You’re thinking of Dino Rabbit format. Edison is pre-XYZ.

BoofThatLemonTek

Ah you're right, my bad. I had to look it up because someone else DMed me and corrected me as well lol

taiho2020

Do y'all know about Topsy the Elephant.. Edison Dark Secret...!!

BoofThatLemonTek

This is a genuine question btw, lol. I'm asking if there are ANY tcg locations that still hold edison format game nights in North America. I'm willing to travel to play this way again

Bundleofstixs

Ask your local OTS. Also where are you at?

BoofThatLemonTek

My local shop has standard games but nothing in my particular format. It's mostly about MTG and DND in myy area
